In the first part of that interview Jimmy Johnson lauds heaps of praise on Vince Young and than turns around and bashes Tebow who is exactly the same type of QB as Young is. The Titans made changes mid-season to the offense for the peanut brained Young yet a team will have to get a new coach if they want to draft Tebow. The double standard is such a joke.

This doesn't sound good at all, coming from the man who has overseen one of the league's relatively white friendliest teams both in Buffalo and Indianapolis:

In an interview with the Colts' website, club president Bill Polian strongly indicated that he does not believe Tim Tebow will play QB in the NFL. Polian admitted that Tebow is "a really good football player," but indicated that the Gators' quarterback could probably only stay under center for a Wildcat-based offense. "There's room for Tim Tebow, if you wanted to install the Wildcat as a part of a specific and integral part of your offense," Polian said. "He'd be perfect for you." Polian also believes Tebow would be a strong short-yardage ball carrier, and/or tight end.

It's official- Tebow will be a TE/H-Back in the NFL, if he even makes a team. First, his less than stellar perfornance against Alabama, which culminated in a long, lingering camera shot of him crying on the sidelines at the end of the game, set the stage for this. I have heard numerous, snickering references to him cring from local jock sniffers on the radio. Blacks can get away with that, because it's totally ignored by the jock sniffers and DWFs. Whites, however (remember Adam Morrison) are held to a different standard, as always. Tebow, already under fire for his out front Christian, good guy image, will now be considered "weak" by all the most important people.

On Rotoworld today were two very disturbing reports. First, the Colts' Bill Poilan, who is supposedly one of the more "white friendly" guys in the league, was quoted as stating that Tebow will not play QB in the NFL, unless he was part of a wild-cat offense. He also, shockingly enough, declared that TE was his most likely position in the NFL. Now think about that; a guru for a team that isn't remotely likely to be drafting a young QB decides to publicly declare that a high profile college QB can't play the position in the NFL. Now why would Poilan do something like this? What would be the motivation behind his comments? Now, if there was a huge conspiracy league wide, with no real "competition" between teams, with a clear and obvious group agenda, then....

Even more astonishing and disappointing were Tebow's own public comments, where he declared in no uncertain terms that he was willing to play whatever position a team wanted him to in the NFL. His words were about as wimpy and submissive as any ever uttered by a beefed up former RB turned bowling ball blocking FB. I've lost all respect for him. Why can't he be like EVERY black QB would be in this situation, and stick his butt out and shout "I am a QB!"

The conspiracy is all emcompassing and SO obvious. It's as if a memo were sent out to everyone in the media and associated with the NFL to state that Tebow will play TE or FB in tne league. Not even one stray jock sniffer to say RB or WR- no, they all must chant in unison, like Warren Commission apologists, TE or FB, TE or FB....

Disgusting as usual. He is too good to be a tightend. Put him at running back if he doesn't play qb. That is the least they could do. Give him a chance. He could be the next Mike Alstott. They just don't want athletic white quarterbacks. From Eric Crouch to the kid for Col.State to Matt Jones. They will make you play another position or you will never play in the nfl. It's so obvious.

Come on Tim. Demand a legitimate chance at qb!

that's also from rotoworld:

Florida QB Tim Tebow said Tuesday that he is willing to play positions other than quarterback at the next level.

"If I'm on a team and they want me to go play another position and that's what they tell me to do," Tebow said, "I will gladly go play another position with my whole heart and do it to the best of my ability." Tebow says his "goal" is to remain a passer, but his most likely NFL position is tight end unless the team that drafts him lures Urban Meyer away from the Gators.

Are they going to screw Tebow in the same way the screwed Eric Crouch? I have to be honest guys Tim Tebow's speed is not as good as Crouch's was. Crouch was supposed to be a runningback in the NFL but was moved to the wide receiver position.

The made Eric Crouch go to NFL Europe to learn how to play safety! This Tebow situation is disappointing. You mean to tell me that he can't throw any better than "Radio" or Pro Bowl QB conVick?

You are right on that FootballDad. First he was converted to wide receiver on the Rams but was injured when some afflete tackled him. While I wouldn't really mind if Crouch was a receiver I would have really like to see him play runningback. We need all the help we can get at that position. At lest there are some white receivers in the league. In 2005 he came back and was pushed to NFL Europe. They did the same thing to Scott Frost who I thought could have been a receiver or even runningback.

More proof that all that needs to happen to minimize a white player is one bad game - perhaps even one bad pass. From the greatest college player to ever play the game in terms of QB production to maybe a fullback or TE??? Soon to be followed by the excuse of "well he was never able to adjust to his new position." Ala the Matt Jones fiasco.

BTW, that one bad pass, an interception in the end zone, is on the coach. First down on the three yard line with one of the greatest running QB to play the game and you pass??? How retarded. Reminded of the bonehead decision of Stanford to pass late in the game against Cal. Same result. Wouldn't it be nice to see a team draft Tebow as a QB and Gerhart? The dream could easily come true with Tebow's stock falling, but not in the Marxist National Football League.

As for crying... West Virginia's Jarrett Brown was BALLING ALL OVER THE PLACE, immediately after WV defeated PITT a few weeks back!! It's probably on youtube!

Tebow shedding a few tears probably makes him even more desirable to the ladies..

KaptainPoop I have read many articles stating that Tebow won't be a successful qb in the NFL. The article Don posted yesterday is just one of them. If he doesn't play qb I have feeling they will want to use him as a human battering ram who occasionally gets some carries. This would be the worst case scenario. If Vick was allowed to play quarterback in the NFL and start for many years Tebow should be given a chance as well.

If they dont want him as a qb, I dont see why he couldn't play runningback in the NFL. He has had the most rushing yards on his team for the past few seasons. He doesn't run like most running qbs, who usually tend to take it outside and avoid contact, he runs up the middle like a rb and embraces contact. He's fallen just short of 1,000 with close to around 859 and averages around 4.4 ypc (do they count sacks as rushing losses?). He broke the sec rushing td record. He probably runs in the 4.6 range which isn't bad for a power guy.

I am getting lots of arguments about how Ingram should win over Toby because its "so much harder to run in the SEC with its nfl caliber defenses" (even though Toby ran for 100 last year against a USC defense that had 8 players drafted, 3 starting as rookies right now) yet these same fans don't think Tebow can run at the next level, even though hes running against the same defenses. The main argument is "hes just big, and he wont be able to do that in the NFL" So according to them we should dismiss any powerback that is in the SEC.

But, he kind of ruined it for himself by saying he is willing to play ANY position. I thought he had more determination than that. He should have said he will only play qb or rb. He can definitely run at the next level, and already has plenty of experience doing it, hed just have to learn how to do the little things like picking up the blitz.

A tight end is ridiculous, he could do it, but that is little more to learn, like Matt Jones, he probably won't get enough time to learn a different position or prove himself before being called a bust(even though Matt Jones finally did get the hang of it his last season playing).

A fullback is even more ridiculous, who in their right minds would convert such a great offensive weapon in college to lead blocker in the NFL? I mean I know they did it to Hester, who said he would play waterboy, but he had already been a fullback prior to his senior season.Edited by: dwid

When Tebow really burst upon the scene as a sophmore, winning the Heisman Trophy, I wondered how they would keep him from doing what he naturally does so well in the NFL. Obviously, we know now that they initiated a campaign at the end of last season, when their trustworthy crew of obnoxious jock sniffers (Kuiper, McShay, etc.) began declaring that Tebow couldn't play QB in the NFL. Even as jaded as I am, I was a bit astonished at their constant mantra that he'd have to play FB or TE in the NFL. I'll be waiting to hear about the first black QB, of any skill level, who is asked to switch to a supporting position like this.

Tebow lost all chance of even being given a chance at QB when he publicly declared his willingness to play any position. Great job, Tim. The Caste System is very proud of you.

This is where there is a big problem with talented, high-profile white guys, willing to "take it for the team", like Jacob Hester. These guys can't see the forest for the trees. They look at it from an individual perspective, rather than how it affects 100 other guys, which it does. Tim Tebow is probably looking at it as being "humble" from a biblical perspective, rather than fighting an injustice to others, not just himself. Perhaps he should read from the book of Obadiah, which states that standing around and ignoring an injustice is the same as perpetrating it.

Black qbs have been asked to switch postions in the pros. (Ex. Antwan Randle El, Michael Robinson, Issiah Stanback, etc). The difference is they were all scrubs and did not come close to doing what Tim has done in his career. Will Pryor be asked to switch positions in order to be drafted? Hell no. What about Vince Young? Even with Youngs improved play, he is no where near being the "franchise quarterback" these analysts supossedly look for. How the hell was caste pet Vick alowed to start in this league?? If fricken Young and Vick can start in this league at some time, GIVE TEBOW A CHANCE! It truly is ridiculous how little faith is put into white athletes in this country by some media outlets.

Outstanding & accurate assessment FBD! I bet'cha dollars to doughnuts he's indeed trying to be a good, humble Christian (ala the "Christian" Zionists). These type of guys think being a good Christian means being a milquetoast doormat. I'm thinking Tim gets stuck at a "tweener"...FB, RB, QB & Scat/Wingback. He SHOULD be a full time QB, but the caste ma$ters won't allow it. I just hope he gets alotta reps & is successful (YPC, TDs, etc.).

I am watching the Sugar Bowl and Tebow is absolutely tearing it up. He is 24-27 right now, 367 yards, 3 TDs and no pics. Florida is up 37-3. I understand wanting Cincinati to win because of the caste matchup, but I find myself rooting for Florida just because I want Tebow to do well and to put it in the face of all the worthless idiots who don't want him to play QB in the NFL. It is so obvious that Tebow can be a great NFL quarterback. If you were the owner or GM of a team that really needs a QB, and you actually want your team to win, why the hell wouldn't you draft Tebow and make him your starter? Any idiot could see that. Of course, the same morons who said JaFatAss Russell was worthy of being the Number 1 pick are the people saying that Tim can't play QB. This situation is just so rediculous and beyond comprehension, I can't even believe it.

Call me an optimist but I just cannot believe that one team will not see the obvious and make Tebow their QB. Actually I think the best thing for him would be to be drafted by Minnesota and sit behind Favre for the first half of next season, then have Favre get hurt and Tim steps in to start the second half of the season.

The white FB or TE Waugh just scored Cincinati's first TD... And now Tim just ran for a TD, 57th of his career!

Good lord, the idiot announcer is talking about how Tony Pike's throwing motion is just so much better and more "suited to the pro game" than Tebow's. He was replaying Tebow's throwing motion over and over again, saying how his mechanics have to be completely changed for the NFL.

Meanwhile, the score is 44-10 in the 3rd quarter.

Jacksonville seems like the best place for him to go, given that he played at Florida and the Jaguars are the worst-drawing team in the league. I don't know if they'll take him in the first round though. Like with Gerhart, so much is going to ride on hisperformance at the Combine, and how strongly he says he wants to play quarterback.

Tebow has destroyed yet another talented secondary, going for3 touchdowns and nearly 400 yards through the air (not to mention his rushing stats)...just imagine what kind of numbers he'd put up if he actually had the talent to play quarterback.

I thought about that too. Of course the Jacksonville/Florida fans would flock to the stadium to see him. It would really be the smartest possible thing they could do as a franchis. Except Black Jack Del Rio would find a way to screw him and screw the franchise at the same time.

Yes, and the SEC is such an inferior conference. How can anyone think that just because a QB dominates the SEC for 4 years, that he could be a QB in the NFL?

In Tebow's case it would almost be a better ideafor him not to run as well at the combine otherwise they will continue to push his position change. He should focus on his footwork, and concentrate on being accurate and showing off his arm more than the 40, pro agility. From the type of personality Tim has I doubt he'll think this way and will want to prove how damn good he is at EVERY drill he does. Which of course is not a bad thing!

He just set a BCS bowla game record for most combined yards in a game -- 533. But he can't play QB in the NFL.

WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!
