Hall of Famer
I will add to my above post in regards to the mission of Caste Football being Pro-white instead of Anti-Black: I think people on this site who constantly bring up black violence or thuggery are hurting the cause of this site. I personally think the Crimes, Anti-Social Behavior, and Buffoonery section of this site should be called something like "The appeasement of spoiled athletes" Or "Where are the team players?" Maybe it shouldn't exist at all and should just be under the Media Racism and Stereotyping section. We want to get those moderate site lurkers to take our arguments seriously.
The problem I have with this section is that it constantly lists criminal acts by black athletes and gives the impression this site thinks "all" blacks are thugs or buffoons. Whether posters believe this or not, I will tell you it hurts our cause. I also wonder if there has ever been white players with problems cited in this section. ie. "Christian Peter the wife beater" "Mark Gastinou's arrests" "Bret Farve's throat slice gesture" "Shockey throwing a cup of ice into the stands and hurting a kid with it" or "Redick's drunk driving", "Tommy Lasorda's drunk driving" etc.
I agree that statistically there is a higher rate of violent criminal incident amongst black athletes for various reasons. This could include blacks having quicker tempers (The Irish and Sicilians in Europe have also been stereotyped this way) upbringing in broken homes in the inner city etc. However, I think the bigger issue with black athletes especially in the NFL, in regards to our fighting for fairness to white athletes isn't the criminal activity itself. I think the problem is the disrespect the egotistical black athletes who are getting into trouble give to white athletes. And also how white athletes who are "team players" get walked all over by any of the black racist athletes. The NFL gives a lack of respect to the humble coachable team player. Again it is a pro-white issue not an anti-black one. It is all in the way it is presented.
For instance When Maurice Clarett was arrested "again" this was not our main problem in itself. The main problem was how the NFL could argue that he was a legitimate 3rd round pick when he runs a 4.82 40 yard and also has a troubled past. It was utterly ridiculous! If he was a 4.5 guy than maybe they had reason to give him another chance based on his brilliant freshman year at Ohio State and draft him in the third round. Let's theoretically say he took Brock Forsey's roster spot. And when asked if he belonged on the team said "I certainly am more of a RB than that white boy they cut." A very likely statement from a person of his character. This is an issue of fairly evaluating talent in "all areas."
The argument would clearly be in our favour. Forsey may have only run a 4.6 in college, but it was better than Clarett. Forsey had an even more stellar college career than Clarett, and the weak competition argument doesn't cut it. Boise St. has been improving and was top 15 this year and I would say from watching Clarett that year, that his O-line was very good.
Forsey was a team player without a bad character problem who was second to only Barry Sanders all time in college TDs. How Clarett was drafted 3 rounds higher than Forsey clearly indicates the problem. From watching Clarett and what I have heard about Forsey, both were similar athletes. I am guessing that Clarrett, if he was motivated and in shape, would have run a near 4.6. Just my guess. Both were good cutback runners who were nifty at finding the whole and keeping their legs moving to power through. Neither were speedsters. Yet, instead of Forsey's character and brilliant production causing him to jump up draft boards to the, let's say, 2nd round, he dropped to the 6th. Clarett, who is now going to jail for up to 10 years, jumped up draft boards to the 3rd round.
The main way white athletes are hurt isn't by the criminal activity itself it is by the selfishness and egos of black racist players. When Keshawn Johnson, who has always been overrated, called his own teammate Cherbet "a flashlight" and said "give me the damn ball" this indicates the view of many blacks toward the white athlete. Or DeAngelo Hall's comments "where does Martz find all these fast white boys?" In regards to Furrey, or Carters comments about Dirk, If I recall, something along the lines of "a spastic white man."
So, in my judgment hearing about a talented black athlete like Randy Moss getting in trouble doesn't grasp my interest except in the way that it relates to the maltreatment of white players ie. Clarett getting a roster spot instead of the Bronco's signing Forsey. I guess I would have to admit to the appeasement of a black athletes crimes being a factor in anti-white discrimination, it is just that I have a problem in the way it is presented. The way it is presented will undoubtedly turn away many moderate site lurkers. We need as many as we can get b/c there is strength in numbers.
I leave you with this note as to how Pro-white is very different than anti-black.
Pro-white statement: I was born and raised in a white community and b/c of that love and understand whites and their values. I love to cheer for white athletes because they are more like me and I am nearer related to them genetically!
Anti-black statement: I was born and raised nowhere near blacks, I hate and do not understand blacks or their lack of values. I love to cheer against black athletes because they are nothing like me and are nowhere near related to me genetically!
I would say that the first statement sounds pro-white. The person may not understand blacks because of a lack of experience of dealing with them. They may have lived in a bubble of sorts and may not feel comfortable around blacks for this reason. They like to cheer for athletes of their heritage b/c they understand and are like them. This in no way proves they hate blacks just that they are not interested in "diversifying" their life.
The second statement is from an angry person who wants nothing to do with blacks. They always root against them and hate them. This has less to do with understanding whites better and not having the time or interest to deal with blacks and more to do with their hatred of anything black. You can bet that the second person is more likely to wish harm on blacks.
