I like to be the more positive light on this forum, even if dustin brown beat Nadal, and woods shot a decent round today, even after that I am glass half full.

Anyway the motive for this thread, is that due to some changes in my household, I am in a dilemma as to whether to bother renewing my cable package.

Here in UK we have sky sports, it's your usual establishment tripe, but the cover sport very well. But other than that, I literally do not watch any TV. And strongly considering getting rid of my cabLe package all together.

Anyway, do you feel that a positive is the decline of the mtv culture.I noticed the evil bbc is shedding 1000 jobs. Now I know youtube have adverts, but you can skip them after 5 seconds. Mtv from 1998 to 2010 had a strong hold, but now through the internet we can pick and choose our media outlook. For example, I like to chew the fat with you boys.

Do you agree despite the net having some dark places, it's positive is destroying the evil which is the mtv culture?

Thoughts?

yes i am very happy about the death or the loss of power of television
i never watch it, i only watch videos on youtube for entertainment
twitch is taking over also
sports are the only thing i would watch on tv but here i have to give money to bein sport, muslim company that helps the muslim agenda
i would not pay a french channel either because all the TV in france is state-controlled and has the same agenda
if i could get skysports i would though

The lessening of power of television is certainly a good thing. Almost all mass media is controlled by the globalist bankocracy cabal, so the any decrease in the influence of that is good. I do like some TV, in particular sports, historical shows, and certain movies. A good thing about cable is that there are so many channels, literally hundreds of them. Granted 90% of them are garbage, but there are still a few good ones out there, and you can always use On Demand to choose which movies you want to see.

I watched "Unbroken" the other night, what an incredible, inspiring story of a strong White man. The book was great also. I also watched "Taken" a few weeks ago which someone on this forum recommended. But all the network news is pure Establishment propaganda. My wife loves the show "Modern Family" which is pure CM, pro-homo brainwashing, though some of the writing is actually funny and Ed O'Neill's wife on the show is smoking hot. But the homo couple is so annoying that I usually can't bring myself to watch the show with her.

I've zero interest in ANY modern series, sitcoms or "reality" TV. The sooner the "TalmudVision" bites the dust, the better. I never regret getting rid of cable, as it's rife to the core with cultural Marxist propaganda & chalk full of filth.

Technical question for the forum. My avatar is a lot smaller when I post then it is in the activity stream. How do I make it bigger when I post? I don't see where to do that in Settings.

The TV(PC)Land cable channel banned "The Dukes of Hazzard" show the other day from their line-up. Not that I watched it anymore, but I loved it as a kid growing up in the 70's and early 80's, the last vestiges of a semi-free Republic and before the total cultural Marxist takeover of the country. Thus, my new avatar.

Amen and amen DD.
No person in their right mind, especially any White, ESPECIALLY any awake White Christian...should ever give a penny for cable, satellite, etc. Those entities are controlled by our sworn enemies!!! I haven't had either poison in decades and no regrets, only thanksgiving to God.
Plus, all their modern crap is brainwashing CRAP, no matter how subtle or not! It truly is "Talmudvision"...their vision for the world to be brainwashed, putty in their hands...it is truly and primarily a "death" medium.

I just cut my cable TV package down by dropping certain channels. I saved about $50/month. Unfortunately some of the channels they cut showed the older tv shows/movies of the 60's and 70's. I may end up cutting everything, but as others have said, there are a few channels that show decent movies.

I don't watch much TV anymore either. Occasionally news, a few sports, and channels that show classic movies from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

BTW, my cable package is bundled, TV, phone, and internet. I tried to drop my land line and they dropped my bill almost $20 not too!

R44, I'm unsure of the answer to your question, but I love your new avatar with the legendary "Wizard of the Saddle"...a man amongst men! :)

Thanks DD. I've always been a big fan of NBF. Just an incredible general and military man. Our race really needs a few like him, Stonewall Jackson and George S. Patton right now!

Our hellavision stays cold most of the time. We do watch sports (MMA, football, boxing, etc) because Whites when allowed, are still able to showcase their skills and prevail against darker hued opponents.

We watch certain movies that have been thoroughly screened well ahead of time.

We have no interest in anything that the MSM calls programing and avoid all of it, including the "news".

My 12 year old daughter does not watch TV, and actually told me I could return her DVR box to the cable company (which I did). Apparently she just uses Hulu on her phone. I keep my cable to watch live sports in high definition. Otherwise, there's not much to see.

Amen brother! These modernist pukes couldn't shine the collective boots of those (aforementioned) men! The slack jawed "omega males" in the "Pentagram" & "Crapitol sHill" don't have one iota of the bravery, leadership & courage that NBF, Thomas J Jackson & Robert E Lee possessed!

A lot of people these days, especially millennials, are cutting the cord and ditching cable. Many on the alt-right see this as a good sign but I don't share in their optimism. It's because people are still consuming the same exact content that was on cable. They're subscribing to Netflix, Hulu, HBO-Go,Sling tv, or just pirating instead. So they're still watching the same exact programing the cultural marxists want them to watch , just through different mediums. People still go to CNN for news, but instead of turning on the tv they just go to CNN.com instead. It's the same thing with all the Jewish newspapers whose deaths we celebrate. People are still getting their news from those papers but they're just going to the websites rather than picking up a copy of the paper at the newsstand.

I agree, Lew. All those comments after articles that we like, whether political or sports oriented, are a very small percentage of the population even though they are usually the clear majority of commenters.

We have virtual communities, but turning them into actual grassroots movements that can challenge the power structure instead of being anonymous keyboard advisors has yet to happen, and changing that requires leaving one's comfort zone, which shows no sign of occurring as of yet.

I did not say things were perfect, they are not, and alot of adverts etc on youtube/Netflix etc are still evil.

But the key thing is at least now people have a viable choice to watch liberal propergander.

If you see a evil advert or show on nbc/cnn/ etc you don't have to see it. Plus now you can actually comment on it. There was a evil anti white male TV show you guys put up a while back, and the comments were slating it. Here's to examples of improvement.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mj5pENEbZZI

A film called supremacy, another film trying to depict white males as evil. But look at the comments and the thumbs up. Trust me the film bombed and whether they want to or not hollyweird will read those comments. Whereas before in mtv world I would have had to take that trailer on the chin, moan and accept it exists.

Take this example about the off putting topic about genitalia size and blacks

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dZJYZ9EpCHo

Now apologies for subject matter, but to think in mtv world they pushed the black penis myth to no bounds. But nowadays people have more info, here are the most popular comments

"So much for the myth that black guys have bugger pistols"

Typically some jealous black tried to wade in but this white fellow said this

"Actually recent studies show white europeans and American counter parts have 2/10 bigger size compared to black men."

The guy then explains the origins of the myth. So obviously I don't want to dwell on that topic matter but it shows that it really is much harder to control the masses. You surely cannot deny that?

You can also pick and choose your tv, what type etc, so in conclusion I think 2015 media control is no where near as effective as 2005.

I rent and as part of my rent I get Direct TV. If I had to pay for it separately I would dump it yesterday. I watch no network programming. Prognosticators have been predicting the death of TV for a while now and it looks like they may be right.

I'm just afraid a lot of the usual suspects will migrate over to the internet and slowly ruin it too.

I haven't substantially watched TV in years. I mean, I watch boxing, soccer, once in a while I'll watch a movie on tv, and once in a while I'll watch the news if something interests me. That's it. I don't really follow pop culture and am totally clueless when it comes to tv shows. The TV has absolutely been replaced by the tablet, mobile phone, and laptop in society. On some level, that is a good thing because the internet atleast exposes people to other perspectives. Is it really going to make a difference and cause white people to become more racially aware? Possibly but I think for the most part no.

I would be interested in watching tv if they had genuine educational shows. The History Channel used to have great shows on medieval warfare, ancient civilizations, and planetary history but these shows have disappeared and been replaced by watered down reality tv. It seems like 99% of whats on tv these days is crap.

Ditto to both those posts Specialist. I think the internet is waking up a lot of people to a lot of things. That's why the usual suspects I'm sure are reaching their tentacles out to it

And the commercials nowadays. Not only are many of them bad, but they go on and on and on. Seems like near as much ad time as show time nowadays. Somebody is trying to milk as much money out of the TV as they can before viewership really drops off the table.

I don't watch shows on the old networks, but on the cable networks commercials often seem to be close to 30 minutes out of every hour. Radio is as bad or worse. The TV networks used to be restricted in the number of commercials they could air each hour, I seem to recall it being 12 minutes per hour around 40 years ago, but that obviously doesn't apply now as commercials and commercialization in general has "advanced" by light years with ads being plastered whenever and wherever possible.

In the 1920's, Hollywood sought out reputable, religious (Christian) men to set guidelines and oversee content for movies. This was done to protect its image in the wake of some scandals that did not sit well with the American public. The "Hays Code" was essentially self-policing, and it died in the 50's as television's own "Television Code" competed to feature more risque content through evolving language. The British film industry also provided unwanted competition, ironically by featuring homosexuality and feminist ideals. Although these were hardly British cinema's prominent themes, they were cited in the Supreme Court case that "overturned" decency standards in lieu of First Amendment rights.

By the late 1960's, codes of content had been completely abandoned and were impossible to enforce. Rating systems replaced them as a sort of compromise. The FCC, a government agency, has evolved to take ownership of the reins. Its level of policing seems to fluctuate, with the occasional "crackdown" every so often. The current film and television zeitgeist is basically a free-for-all of interracial, non-gendered agitprop. Post-1980's has been a very rapid devolution into debauched content. I don't know of anything currently legal that has yet to be broadcasted on primetime TV.

*My history is condensed and could be a little off, so anyone should feel free to correct me. I think it's fascinating to observe the various turning points in hindsight. A lot of the erosion seems inevitable; however, losing the culture war also neatly coincides with losing the second Great War.

We tend get lost in our internet bubbles sometimes and we lose touch with reality. Grassroots movements are what we need. But people are just too afraid. You can lose your job for just about anything these days. I've seen people get fired for what they posted on twitter and facebook. Then other people are just afraid of being smeared by the local media and blogs. Not many people are as brave as you are,Don, in going public with your views. You have a lot of experience when it comes to real life attempts at changing things, what do you think we should do ?

beat me to it werewolf. This shows creator is an illegal immigrant and mtv is being used as the mouthpiece to reach out and brainwash white youth. The fact that these tactics are not being questioned and why no person/group is speaking out against this blatant bull**** propaganda is amazing. Mtv should be sued for racial discrimination and inflammatory remarks against white people. How this illegal is able to work and stay in this country is beyond me. I guess he has the blessing of the powers that be to continue the psychological warfare on innocent people.
