I feel that it is time to start a thread on the Colts. They are now 11-0 after dominating a very good Steeler Team tonight.Peyton Manning is going for his 3rd straight MVP Award. How can anyone argue it?They are very talented on offense and defense.I feel strongly that this is the year that Manning finally gets a ring. There is no better qb in the country. Also, having receivers like Stokley and Clark make them a fun team to watch.

The Colt defense is all black this year for the first time but the offense is still one of the best to root for.

There will be two white quarterbacks meeting in the Super Bowl this year so it would be great to see Manning get his first championship. Brady already has 3, his greatness is assured its time for other great white quarterbacks to win the big one.

They are a fun team to watch and the game tonight I thouht was a pretty good comparision of two distinct types of Football teams 1.) The Finesse type being the Colts and 2.) The Tough type being the Steelers (sadly I didn't get to watch the whole game though)

Anyways I hope that Peyton Manning gets some more endorsement deals because he deserves them:

the only two noteworthy players on this defense that are white at the moment are: Josh Thomas: had a sack vs Steelers, and Matt Giordano: plays special teams only for now...

I hate to be party pooper again, but....it is getting harder for me to
root for the Colts. After apparently reading my posts here a few weeks
back, and responding by actually throwing a few crumbs to Stokley and
Clark, Manning and his offensive coordinator reverted right back to
this year's black-friendly scheme. Stokely, after scoring his only TD
of the season a few games back, has only been on the field for a
handful of plays in each of the last two games. Clark was finally
utilized as he should be last week, but disappeared again last night.
The ridiculous black TE they found somewhere (6th round draft pick cut
by the offensive powerhouse Bears) was targeted more than Clark and
scored a TD. What happened to their other two white TEs? At least one
of them was a pretty high draft pick. How could someone cut by the
Bears pass both of them on the depth chart, and warrant a lot more
playing time than a playmaker like Stokely?

I know some of you don't agree with me, but again I ask that we reverse
races here. Can you imagine any black WR who had the season Stokley had
last year being virtually benched most games the next season?
Especially when he is the QB's roommate and best friend on the team?

You make a decent point, bigunreal. As for the defense being all black, did ya'll here Madden talking about how the Colts use Josh Thomas on first downs (and apparently fourth down as well), and then put the black guy in for second and third. I'm no defensive expert, but this seems strange to me. I was glad to see Thomas get that sack on the possession where he played all of it.

You make some good points bigunreal.I like Manning, but with Stokley and Clark beingmarginalized , I could care less about the Colts. Just another mostly black NFL team. Very disappointing.

I agree with you bigunreal. I don't now where they found that black TE. They seem to talk a lot about his big mouth - big surprise. Stokely has hardly been on the field lately and Dallas Clark has been split out at typical WR position. Stokely should be split out and Dallas should be in the line most of the time. But that wouldn't leave any room for there new black TE. I looks like Clark and Stokely have to split time with each other, which doesn't make much sense since they play different positions.
I would rather watch Eli's team as his main recieving weapon is Shockey.

One problem with the Colts going to the superbowl and winning it is
that rat head Tony Dungheap( he looks like Pinky and the brain)
will get the credit for the win. And did Stokely break his neck
or something cause Dungheap sure don't like playing him this
year. I like Peyton as a quarterback he is the personification of
a " pure pocket passer" , but WTF is he doing to his " Friend"
Stokely. I thought they were buddies. If my friend had as
much juice as Peyton you would think he could pull a few strings and
play me, not so in Dungheap/Manning land.

The media will argue it! The media hype right now is Tomlinson and Alexander. The media is sick and tired of white QB's getting all these awards. One exception is Rodney Peete, who's usually a typical dumb jock, but actually surprised me and said Carson Palmer is his MVP (maybe a little of bias because Palmer was a Trojan.) But Palmer is too young to get the votes. I haven't seen Brees's numbers, but he's overshadowed by Tomlinson. Manning is undefeated, but he won't get it because his stats aren't as spectacular as last year. None of the other prominent QB's (Brady, Roethlisberger, McNabb, Culpepper, Vick,) are even close. So I think it will go to an RB.

You might be right about that, lots of talk about those two backs and very little about Manning.

MVP should be about who is the most valuable player to the team, in other words that players team would be much worse off without him than any other team would be without their star player(s).

In that case, I believe the MVP should go to Carson Palmer as well, because their is NO doubt that without Palmer the Bengals would be 2-14. The Colts would be mediocre without Peyton, but not as bad as the Bengals. Same for the Chargers and LT, and the Seahawks w/o Sean Alexander.

"All those white fellas" are a total of six starters. The Steelers only start two white offensive linemen (Jeff Hartings and Alan Faneca), and haveno backup white linemen on their roster other than their long snapper. Kreider has two carries all season and only a few receptions, while TE Heath Miller could easily be used like Shockey, Gonzalez, Witten, Gates, et. al, especially on a team that has very little at WR after Hines Ward, but isn't. WR Sean Morey is only allowed to play special teams. They have a few backup white d-linemen who play occasionally, and thank God Kordell Stewart is long gone, but they're a pretty stereotypical Caste team.Edited by: Don Wassall

Smith is one of the Steelers'six white starters.

Not that the Colts arebetter than the Steelers anymore in that department, with their all-black defense. The main difference is they have a white WR, though he isn't being used nearly as much this year. My main interest in the Colts, besides rooting for Stokley and Clark, is hoping Peyton Manning leads them to a Super Bowl win, which he needs for his legacy, and which would be important in maintaining white dominance at the quarterback position, because the situation at all the other positions (except o-line) isn't going to change until there is widespread recognition of the Caste System and I-A programs begin recruiting differently.

Good point Don! I think we should support whatever it takes to keep white leaders (read QB's and white OL's) winning Championships. Everything else will be ignored by the media and the public. I just wish people would wake up! The whole country needs someone to shake them into racial consciousness.

A good point by Don on the imprtance of Peyton Manning gettting a Super Bowl ring. What would the reaction be if Michael Vick's Falcons won the Super Bowl?

If Ron Mexico gets any where close to the Super Bowl he will win the MVP in a landslide and be crowned Emperor.

I understand your point, but couldn't the same be said of Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Matt Hasselbeck, Drew Brees, and a myriad of other white quarterbacks that have a chance of winning the super bowl?
I see no chance of any black quarterback winning or even going to the superbowl this year, so no reason to especially root for Peyton Manning more than other white quarterbacks.

The purge of white quarterbacks would be thereaction-I just know the NFL, there would be a madscramble to get "athletic quarterbacks". We wouldseecovers of sports illustrated talking abouthow the quarterback postion has evolved and you have to be" mobile" (code word for black) (This has already been attempted, but it would be pushed like never before) Edited by: KJV1

I would root almost as hard for any of the others you mentioned Kaptain, but Manning has been the NFL's Babe Ruth the past few years, especially last year and this year. While the non-stop propaganda for years was that "new quarterbacks" were going to redefine the position in a more "athletic" direction, here comes a classic brainy, drop-back quarterback who tears up defenses as well as any quarterback who's ever played.

While all the rooting by the media was for Vick, McNabb, Culpepper and friends,it wasthe "immobile" Peyton Manningwho surpassedDan Marino's single season record for TD passes, a feat akin to Mark McGwire surpassing Ruth and Maris in home runs.

Peyton Manning has been great for anyone who roots for white athletes. He's like Steve Nash and Jeremy Wariner, dominating a sport that whites aren't supposed to dominate anymore, and doing it in the most important sport. You also couldn't ask for a better role model than Peyton as far as how he conducts himself on and off the field.

There are lots of excellent white quarterbacks in the NFL right now, but Peyton Manning is in his eighth year, he's at the peak of his powers. He will never get the respect he deserves until he has a Super Bowl ring and I would like to see this be the year his team wins it all. Edited by: Don Wassall

Don said it better than I can. Peyton Manning is the kind of player who will cause the Super Bowl to be watched by a larger audience than normal if he plays in it.

Several months ago, I posted on this Forum that Mickey Mantle was the last white athlete to be the Number 1 athlete in pro sports. If Peyton Manning can win a few Super Bowls, he will be the top sports figure in America in the way that Mickey Mantle was. In other words, both individual performance and team success.
