The Eagles greatest strength are their lines. They have a deep defensive line that is solid. Their offensive line led by Kelce and Lane Johnson is remarkably athletic, agile, smart and quick. The further you get away from their lines the talent level drops. Except for TE Ertz who is a truly elite talent.

The Patriots in my mind would have more trouble with Atlanta or the Saints. Even the Steelers. I don't see it with the Eagles. I think the Pats caught a break here.

My final score Pats 26 Eagles 17.

No, the injury report I posted above was produced by the Pats last weekend (as if the game was last Sunday), which was strange, but I only posted it to show that Burkhead wasn’t listed.

Gronk is practicing and is very likely to play. He’ll likely be released from the “concussion protocol” later this week.

I pick the Eagles to win. Their defensive line is excellent. It is also deep, so players will be fresher in the 4th quarter, the quarter in which the Patriots are winning many games. The Patriots' offensive line, while good, is not as good as some of their lines in the past.

The Patriots' all black defense plays soft at times. I think it's vulnerable.

Because of his mobility Nick Foles needs a good offensive line. He has that with the Eagles. When he has time Nick Foles can be very good, as he just proved against Minnesota.

I agree that Hogan, Edelman, and Amendola are 3 very different players. My observations...

Edelman is 5-10, 200 lbs. He's clearly the bulkiest and most compact of the trio. Hogan is 6-1, 220 lbs. He has a muscular upper body, but is otherwise very thin. Amendola is 5-11, 190 lbs. His frame is noticeably smaller overall than Edelman and Hogan.

Hogan has elite straight-line speed, but is a "long strider" who lacks quickness. Edelman has elite quickness, and while fast, isn't a straight line "burner." Amendola has amazing short-area bust and possess elite route-running.

Amendola has great hands, but Hogan and Edelman are prone to bobbling the ball and drops.

Edelman has a real "leadership" quality about him and is the fiery, passionate tough guy of the group. Hogan and Amendola are more "finesse" players.

But they're all white, so to the Caste System (with its many disciples and DWF minions), they're all the same!

Gronk needs to watch out for the head-hunters. Since the only consequence is a 15-yard penalty, I can easily see a cheap shot attempt to take him out, which would be a major blow for the Pats. They managed to win against JAX without him, but I don't think they can overcome his loss against the Eagles. If they still had Edelman, like last year, then perhaps it would've mattered less, but they'll need everyone to be healthy against a very good opponent.

What I've noticed is that in years past there would be at least some talk from co-workers, friends, relatives about the Super Bowl, Super Bowl party, etc., but I haven't heard anyone say a word about it this year. Same here. At work hardly any mention about it. NE has this. Should be a great game.

Although slightly boomerish and patriotsrdish it’s nice to see the mold being broken of rooting for “your team” or “your players” (on fantasy football) and have the people you support mean something like we do hear

But like others have mentioned above it seems like the em vogue talking point or reaction the masses are having this year is that of disinterest, boredom, and indifference. Lots of “I may watch or have it on in the background” type answers. You don’t really even hear people saying hat thy are “only watching for the commercials (or halftime show) anymore.

I’m interested to see how 2018 will play out after everyone has had a chance to digest 2017

While I'm picking the Eagles to win I'm hoping the Patriots will win.

The Patriots are identified as the "white team" by many. They're one of the few teams that utilizes white wide receivers, a position the black supremacists believe should be black only.

What blacks I hear talking about it are rooting for the Eagles. I think this is because they perceive the Patriots as a white team.

The ideal result would be for Nick Foles and Zach Ertz to have good games but for the Patriots to win. The anti-whites hate Tom Brady and the Patriots. It would be good to see Brady and company stick it in their racist faces - again.

I wish I shared your confidence, Westside. The Eagles have major quality and depth at DL (Graham, Cox, Long, Allen, Curry Barnett) and rotate so frequently that I don’t think the Pats’ offense can “wear them out” like they did the Falcons and Seahaws in SB 51 and SB 49.

The Eagles have good corners (Darby, Mills, and Robinson) and I’m concerned at how ineffective Hogan has been since the shoulder injury. Malcolm “Black Power” Jenkins is slow-footed, but is a good safety nonetheless. The belief is that he’ll be matched up with Gronk. The other safety, McLeod, has the potential to be exploited.

The OLB, Kendricks, is a big-bodied player that is great at stopping the run but can be burned in coverage. The other LB, Bradham, seems to have the opposite skill set. I hope that Amendola (and the RB’s, which hopefully includes Burkhead) can abuse them.

New England’s chocolate-flavored defense is wildly-unpredictable. Malcolm Butler, Trey Flowers, and Pat Chung are the best players. Harmon and Van Noy are above average, but the rest of the Patricia’s African crew is pedestrian. I could see the Eagles feasting on this defense via short passes (to Ertz and Agholor) and getting beaten in the red zone by Jeffrey.

Best of luck today to Brady, Gronkowski, Hogan, Amendola, and Burkhead! For the sake of white masculinity, it’s very important for all the white kids watching to see these players dominate. We’ve been very “spoiled” over the past 3 years with NE’s white players having so much success in the SB. For God’s sake, in last year’s SB, the Pats started THREE white WR’s, producing magical moments such as...

In SB 49, the Pats started 9 whites on offense (1 on defense) and defeated the hated Seahawks in scintillating fashion. Gronk, Amendola, and Edelman all scored TD’s and had great games in what is widely considered the greatest SB game ever played.

For the Eagles, I’d love to see Zach Ertz have a great receiving game, hopefully in a loss.

There is also a more important issue at stake in this game...Tom Brady’s legacy. The amazing TB12 is already widely considered the greatest athlete in the history of professional sports in America. If he wins this game, the argument will be put to rest forever.

Really hoping for the Patriots to win yet again, though the Eagles are a palatable team for them to lose to. Nothing like losing to the odious Seahawks or Giants would be. If I had to bet my house on this game, I would bet on the Patriots because they have been there and won it five times, while the Eagles are popping their Super Bowl cherry. Who knows how they will react on the big stage in this super pressurized situation? Atlanta had a very talented team last year, more talented on offense than Philadelphia this year, and couldn't withstand the Patriots epic comeback. And the Patriots no-huddle offense can offset partially the Eagles defensive depth. One thing for certain is we know don't ever count New England out until the very end.

Right now. I will win a playoff pool at work if the Eagles win which is over 200.00. I will not be bummed if NE gets another SB. To me its Brady's destiny to get another one. That is where my confidence springs from. Also, love Foles, but I think he will return to earth following his epic last game, where he looked like Brady. There is only one Brady especially when it comes to SBs. NE 27-17 for the win.
