States seccession- good or bad?

A number of states have sent in petitions to succeed from the nation. Is this good or bad? Do they want to seceed so that they can kick out all the moslem and illegal immigrants and not have to pay for Obama care? If this is so, I will support this movement.
So far the MSM is failing to explain this issue.
What are your opinions on this?

I've not researched the current iteration of secession, but I agree (in principle) to disengage from fedgov's globalist, cultmarx agenda. However...as Werewolf stated in another thread..."they" (PTB) won't allow us to balkanize. :-(

So far, it has just been citizenry of certain states who have signed petitions asking for secession. State legislatures and governors just grin and ignore the people. Rick Perry in Texas (where I am this week) just brushed it aside. The impetus behind most of the secession movements is Obamacare, which is no small matter. Once this is fully implemented, our last vestiges of freedom are history. Here is an outstanding article that does a broad overview of what to expect from Obama's "Affordable Healthcare Act". It's not pretty.

I thought that was the point. If the US is Balkanized, we will be easier to control and be exploited.

I support it 100%. A lot of the southern states have high percentages of blacks but maybe they would leave if we cut off quotas, welfare, handouts, "obama phones," ...etc.

Hopefully they will then go to their friends in the blue states who claim to love them so much.

During his 15 minutes of fame last year as one of the revolving door of clowns to lead the GOP presidential "horse race," Perry told a Tea Party gathering that it would be a good idea if Texas seceeded. Perry the CFR member later retracted that statement and of course now that Texas is leading the way in the current secession brushfire, he is opposed to it.

A serious secession movement will take a helluva lot more than people signing online petitions. It will be bitterly, fanatically opposed by the establishment every step of the way, including by the media and courts, and even by the military if need be. I see it as a healthy sign of discontent, but like the failed Tea Party movement that was effortlessly co-opted and diffused by the Republican Party, it will take genuine and prolonged commitment and militancy to actually become a serious movement.

The empire of the USA is going to breakup. The real question is when. Right now, it is held together by two things money and force, the carrot and the stick and they are about out of carrots, which means that have to print more and create hyperinflation or don't and the underclass riots and that only leaves the stick, which might be lost if they have to use it to try and save the Zionist.

Many possible paths that will lead to breakup and which one it will be no one can tell. Race war, peaceful protesters gun down by federal thugs, revolution in Mexico creating a refugee crisis and on and on the list can go. Right now the petitions are just a peaceful way to start the process, but the seed have been planted and the government will provide plenty of the fertilizer and they will grow most will be weeds (multicultural nonsense) but some will grow into strong nationalist movements but at first the government will cut them down and stomp them out while adding new fertilizer for the new seed that fell from the old plants. In the end, the government won't be able to stop them and they will flower into true nationalist secession movement.

What is surprising to me is that this succession movement is that it seems to runned by whites. Blacks and other minorities see Obamacare as manna from heaven. They believe that they will receive free quality medical from the govt for the rest of their lives and they don't have to work at it. They don't understand that is not how it works. I have said that Obamacare is worse than unconstitutional, it is unworkable.

I have always thought that the ethnic minorities would succeed first. The mexicans are forever talking about taking over. But to take over the mexicans would have to give up their welfare checks and food stamps. They would also have to be willing to fight. I believe that the average girl scout troop of white girls would have more cohesion under fire than any mohagany mob or mexicans.

I don't know but who's to say the states themselves won't break up. Here in California the northern part, still mostly white, has factions who want to break away from the south, which is largely minority now, and wants to take need more and more of our water, for one thing.

Other states have similar white rural/minority urban divisions (Illinois and Nevada for example) that may well come to a head sooner rather than later. Especially if Obama and his crowd go too far with their minority coddling anti white agenda. The minority heavy part of a state will favor it, the whiter parts who will foot more of the bill will very put upon. So what happens to the Union when some of its states can't stay intact? Just a scenario, hell who knows.

Gentlemen, The right to leave the Union is in the Constitution. It's covered under the 10th Amendment. That's the reason Jefferson Davis never was tried, although he was indicted for treason. The radical Republicans wanted very much to hang him and the rest of the Confederate hierarchy, but dared not chance a trial and have Davis aquitted. The sh*t would've hit the fan if he walked. Then people would've said what was the war for? There might've even been another war.

We forgot the other seccession movement. The one where the mayors declare their cities to be "santuary" cities. This encourages anti-american violent criminals from other nations to come to our cities to prey on innocent Americans and drive them out. This is another way of leaving the USA.

An article entitled "Secession Update: South Carolina Petition Needs Just a Few Hundred Signatures"

Just days after the reelection of Barack Obama, a Secession movement was started. At first, it was mostly Southern states, but Secession petitions soon were started for all fifty states. Many of the people signing these petitions are completely serious about leaving the union. Some of them are protesting the reelection of an incompetent bungling president, who ran up the National Debt by six trillion dollars, failed to do anything to get America out of a Depression, bailed out major corporations and banks while millions of Americans had their homes foreclosed and who is certain to do worse in his second term.

Tom, that is almost exactly what I would have said. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that post coming from you.

As to the current "movement", I don't see anything coming of it. Evidently it will take a worst case scenario to wake up the ever more zombie-like sheeple.

I appreciate your assessment.. & unfortunately (looking at the example of South Africa), even a worst case scenario may not awake the self-hating Whites of America.
South Africa was the most sophisticated society in Africa, and they willingly, & at their own peril, handed their civilization over to Black Marxist bigots. It was only a small faction of Whites that were resisting the transition.
& we could go down a long list of great American cities that were also surrendered & now resemble 3rd world levels of violence & corruption, where the quality of life has gone down for both Blacks & Whites.
I always reserve hope (and actively pray) that America as a whole wont go this way, but.. who knows. I think secession petitions are a healthy baby-step.

Secession is the only hope for whites in America. We've been overrun and nearly genocided. We the people have been replaced by the government with a new "people" that are more to the governments liking (non-white, and marxist).

If enough pro-whites break away a few states then whites have a chance at stopping their own genocide.

The only real chance we might have would be to retreat to the Pacific Northwest or states like Idaho, Montana, and the Dakotas. There's even been talk about South Florida seceding from the rest of the state. The reason being is because this area of the state completely resembles a 3rd world toilet and the rest of the state is tired throwing money into this sinkhole. Florida used to be a solid red state until the idiot New York Jews, blacks, and immigrants here in Miami-Dade started voting themselves entitlements. Miami is what the entire country is going to look like if we don't change our immigration policy.
