I was looking at the stats on Puripol Boonson. His best times are from 2 years ago. He is only 19 years old!!

Oh my goodness, all you have to do is look at the 'High Schoolers' thread . . . about 80% of the sprinters mentioned there, were never as good/fast in college.

It's great to see Brody Buffington set 2 new personal best times in his sophmore year of college. I'm pumped to see how he does over his junior and senior years of college. Was worried about him 6 months ago but am no longer worried.

Excited to see Gatlin Bair step on the track. I know he is on a football scholarship but I would be shocked if he didn't do both sports. The kid is an incredible athlete at the highest level. Can't wait to see him develop more in the coming years.

I’d say you have to wait on a guy like Boonson since he will probably be running for a number of years and may break his PB at some point. Austin Kratz is a good example of a sprinter that peaked early in my mind as he ran his best time in highschool and I don’t believe he was ever able to improve in college.

Casey Combest was another one that peaked early. He still holds the highschool 60m record of 6.57. I’m sure he could’ve broken that PB if he didn’t screw his life up and get in trouble with the law. I just ran accross an article about his son King Combest who is fast in his own right, but doesn’t have the gifts his father had. King is 18 years old now and has a PB in the 60m of 6.90. That’s a great time for the local coed soccer league but it’s not getting you anywhere as a pro.
