Should I move?

Long story short, i've lived in my neighborhood for about 3 years and it's been nothing but headaches. Several rental houses around me with new tenants every year, and of course they don't follow any of the subdivision restrictions and are just a general nuisance. These bastards renting their houses out drive down my property value and cause me grief. I wish I could say the annoying tenants were all non-whites but sadly, most of them have been whites without any manners. Although, we do have some sand ******s now that are a nuisance. Anyway, in order to try to make the wife happy, and because i thought it best for my kids, we moved to a new subdivision when i really wanted to live in the country. My wife is onboard with moving to the country now, although part of me suspects that secretly she won't be happy about it. Regardless, the constant noise and nuisances of neighbors makes me want to move ASAP.

The problem is i don't see much available in the country and anything that comes up goes fast. We looked at a perfect country house and they accepted another offer before we ever got the chance to put one in. It's crazy. The other problem is trying to get rid of the house we're in. I'd lose 20-30 thousand after all is said and done, which is a lot of money to me. But i think being happy would make it worth it. But I also wonder if i'm being selfish. The town we are in offers the kids more opportunities and more kids to play with than being isolalted in the country. The thought of moving sounds like a nightmare, with as much stuff as we seem to have accumulated. And what if we sell our house and can't find something or buy a hosue and can't sell this one. Part of the reason we bought this house is because we sold my previous house and were living in a crappy aptmt and needed to find a place.

It pains me to say, but even moving to this 95% white town hasn't been the peaceful joy I expected. People are rude and selfish. Now I just want the peace and quiet of the country and let the rest of the world go to hell for all I care. Any thoughts appreciated. I've lived in the city, in the suburbs and in a small town. The only place I haven't tried is in the country.

Don't let other people dictate where you live. I live in New Orleans, which is where I spent a good deal of my childhood years but I have lived many different places, the suburbs and the country.

Like you said for your kids where you live, there are many more things and opportunities for my kids here. Yes there is not much land but we live close to a huge park that I take my son to all the time. The suburbs where my parents live isn't bad either, seems like the best of both worlds, kind of a country feel to it with a couple of acres of land but an hour away from the city.

It is a majority black city but the area we live in has a good deal of Whites and there are other parts of the city with large pockets of Whites like parts of Uptown. Since I am a teacher, I had to observe lots of teachers from a variety of schools, including the ones way out in the country which took a toll on my car and gas. The schools were terrible in terms of kids learning stuff for most places. Some of the kids I met in school from the middle of nowhere were a little weird and the biggest dwf I have met in person was from there, in love with Michael Jordan even though the dude hasn't played in a long time. Spent all of his student loans going to Hornets games.

The only option in this city is to send your kid to private or Catholic school, and they did not give us many opportunities to observe those types of schools but they were much better from what I have seen. My son goes to a Catholic pre school that is free right now and its nice. I went to one briefly growing up but we didn't have the money so in 2nd grade went to a "magnet" school which was just a joke, just like every other public school I remember when I transferred they were teaching stuff I learned a year earlier. It helped me become more aware of the differences between races and most Whites here appear to be racially aware, even the liberals who may support giving money but don't want nothing to do with blacks. But this is Louisiana and things are just different here so I can't really speak for your situation. Denver seems really nice although the people are pretty liberal, the mountain towns are really nice but they can be isolated from the rest of the world. But it seems no matter where you are a good deal of people tend to isolate themselves, inside all day on the computer probably waiting for their favorite tv shows to come on. At least in the city there are many things to do where you can interact with others, and this applies to the surrounding areas as well.

Although I wouldn't mind living back in Lafayette, and Denver seems pretty good as well, even wouldn't mind being back in Atlanta where I lived after Katrina, right now this is a good situation imo.

Long story short, the grass is always greener on the other side. There is no reason to take a 20 to 30k hit. I liked the country but I don't know if I could live there with my family long term right now but everyone is different. Do what you think is best for your family, mainly your kids, I know my religion says put God first, then your wife and then your kids, but my son comes after God even though I love my wife. I would confront annoying neighbors if they are being loud and disrupting my life, I have before but for the most part it hasn't been a problem for me and don't know how many you would have to deal with. The problem with the suburbs surrounding us is that they are trying to mix section 8 housing in with regular neighborhoods, which might be the case where you live.

If you have growing kids and you live in a predominately White suburb with good schools I would stay. With housing values down you might not get your value if you move and country living with young kids is difficult. You will be driving them everywhere. It's not like the old days where kids would go hang out by the waterhole. Raising kids now means taking them to places where they can do the things they like to do.

Country schools can be hit or miss on quality also because of the limited funds. Most suburban White schools are pretty decent. But they all suck to some degree. You might have already noticed that. You should plan to be in a place for a while wherever you settle. So if you are going to move do it soon. With more economic grief on the horizon the home market is not going to be good anytime soon.

Since you don’t have a long history at CF, I don’t really know your personality very well.

Do you enjoy activities like playing sports in your backyard, home-remodeling, gardening, agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, silviculture, construction, wood-working, automotive repair, cutting firewood, welding, working with animals, landscaping, or self-sufficiency in general? If so, life in a country setting could certainly afford you the opportunity to do all of these things and more. Even if none of these things appeal to you, you could still appreciate the lack of car traffic and people, the quiet serenity of nature by day, and the star-filled nights unspoiled by light pollution.

Growing up where I did, and living where I do now with my own young family, I take great pride in hailing from “The Middle of Somewhere.” I currently have around 10 acres where I enjoy doing all of the stuff listed above. I raise free-ranging poultry (for egg production only, no chickens are ever killed and are treated as pets) in my spare time and make a small profit selling eggs to people I know. I also breed Bobwhite quail for release in order to re-establish a wild population (not for hunting), since the native population no longer exists in my area of PA. I have many vegetable gardens, corn fields, and I’ve planted many fruit trees, grape vines, and have many seedlings started in a greenhouse that I built last spring. Last year, I created a pond on my property and I’ve been raising fish, which is really neat because it attracts other wildlife (frogs, toads, wild turkeys, turtles, deer, fox, coyotes, etc) in search of water and habitat. In the future, I hope to raise a small herd of dairy cattle (Swiss Brown and Ayrshire), but I don't yet have the equipment to bail hay. In my “vision” for a perfect world, all whites would live in a country setting, be as self-sufficient as possible, form local militias, and work together as a tribe.

Since every man, woman, and child is interconnected by the same Zio-Marx-Jew-Afro-***-Fem Corporate Media Lattice, “isolation” and “white flight” is nearly impossible in the United States. Thanks in large part to this globalization of Judeo-degeneracy, most whites (rural, suburban, and city-dwelling) are every bit as repulsive and ignorant as their non-white counterparts. Many of the guys I work with (white men with PhD’s and other advanced degrees in science and engineering) tell stories of calling the police on their neighbors, property disputes, constant personal bickering, and other foolishness that was unheard of years ago.

In know what you mean, Jax. Where I grew up, my high school was nearly 30 miles from my parent’s house. Since I played 4 sports, they were always driving me long distances before I could drive myself. In my opinion, white children have a more structured life if they only see their peers while at school, sports, church, or during “sleepovers” at each other’s houses on the weekends.

Its hard to say where to move to. I've lived in 2 places in my life, Miami FL, and Provo Utah when I attended BYU. Talk about 2 cities as different as night and day. I felt much safer in Provo and of course I didn't feel like a foreigner in my own country. Having said that though, I am someone who does enjoy the Miami night life. I don't drink or smoke or do anything like that but I do enjoy the club scene as long as they aren't playing (c)rap/hip-hop. There isn't much of a rock scene here but there are some places that play electro-pop (aka new wave) which is more what I'm into anyway. I didn't really find too much of that in Provo. As much of a 3rd world dump Miami has become, which is evident by the amount of idiots here who voted for Obama, it is still my home and its hard for me to picture myself living anywhere else.

Thanks for replies guys, very much appreciated. This decision is causing a lot of stress in our lives right now.

Thrashen, that sounds awesome. Just what I would love to have. My ultimate dream is to sit out in a hot tub at night in the middle of nowhere looking up at the stars. I do like to garden, and I am good at landscaping. I used to run, but since I started working full time i haven't had time, but would like to get back into it. I like what you say about the kids just seeing their peers when at school and events, and I think that does keep kids more regimented and out of trouble. Very good point and I hadn't looked at it that way.

I'm just not a people person I guess. Like you say, even most whites are total ****** loving idiots nowadays. I have no respect for a white that adopts turd worlders or votes for a ****** or listens to crap. It's a crazy world out there, and I just want my own sanctuary of peace and quiet. It seems like a Qixotic quest.

If you want to make a real big move and get out of this dying country, check out white countries in South America, like Chile.

I've always heard good things about Chile. I remember their no-nonsense president, Augusto Pinochet that took care of his Marxist enemies by having them publicly shot to death in a soccer stadium. He knew how to deal with communist uprisings swiftly and justly. Plus, most of the people there are very friendly white people of Spanish descent. My family originally came to America from Eastern Europe but I should probably brush up on my Spanish because moving to Chile seriously doesn't seem like a bad idea right now. It was also voted the safest and most financially solvent country in South America where as Venezuela was voted the worst (Gee, wonder why?)

werewolf, Running is never the answer. Everything you are or ever will be is here. Our fight is here. This is our home and men like you have to take it back for your children and our White people as a whole. If you're born and raised here, then you should die here.

Quickly, I remember watching a highly recommended movie called "Sexy Beast" it was about an English gangster who gave up the "life" and settled in the Spanish country side with his girlfriend and another former gangster. I fell in love the location where he lived, where he found sanctuary. Later in the movie great Jewish actor Kinglesly(spelling?) pays him a visit to do one more caper. Great movie.

Nevertheless, after the past election I dreamed of moving there. But in reality Spain is more F'd up than here in terms of the taxes they levy. I can only dream and try to make this country better as Mr Iron stated.

But, Tom, hasn't the whole history of the human race - including our own ancestors - consisted of leaving places that have become onerous and moving someplace better?
