Although the Pete Carroll hire is already known to most here at CF, the fear of disobeying the Rooney Rule in this hire may not be. Here's an article that points out the wrangling now going on in Seattle to pacify the cultural Marxists in control of the NFL.

<h1 ="entry-er">Pete Carroll will just be Seahawks coach</h1>

Pete Carroll originally
expected to be coach and president of the Seahawks, but now it looks
like coach is the only title he'll hold. That's not to say he won't
have major say in personnel decisions. It's just that the team has
promised the Fritz Pollard Alliance that Carroll will be working with a
separate club president and/or general manager. It remains to be seen
what the repercussions of breaking that promise would be, but the NFL
takes the Rooney Rule very seriously and the Seahawks are likely to
take a by-the-book approach heading forward.

Watch for the
Seahawks to hire Carroll, then take their time interviewing candidates
for the GM job, while remaining very mindful of the Rooney Rule
requirements. This could lead to the promotion of Will Lewis, Seattle's
current pro personnel director who Friday interviewed with Mike
Holmgren for the GM job in Cleveland. Lewis is widely respected and, by
all accounts, would work well with Carroll.

So the Carroll offer
is coming into clearer focus. It's $32.5 million for five years ($6.5
million per year) to be coach -- and only coach -- of the Seattle
Seahawks. So, another unworthy promotion of a Negro into a higher position, just so they don't look bad or get negative publicity. Just beautiful, not!

the more interesting question, in my view, is how long will it take before the NCAA comes down on USC for recruiting violations?

you know it's bound to happen, else Carroll wouldn't have left.

Good question, JC. Seems entirely plausible considering how that has happened with a lot of other college coaches who have switched jobs.

Actually, its my opinion that the way this has all played out, it's held the "Rooney Rule" up to ridicule. The whole thing is coming apart. People know who they want to hire. Nobody is going to force an organization to hurt themselves, no matter the rule established.

Look at all the tobacco companies seemingly preaching against their product. Nobody really thinks they want people to stop smoking. Same with this ridiculous rule. Nobody's going to abide by it in real terms.

I actually love the Rooney-Rule.

It screws white-owned NFL caste organizations, white caste coaches, and forces the jewish/white caste media to squirm as they make every attempt to avoid mentioning how incredibly unfair, unequal, and racist this "rule" is.

I think it's satifying to watch all parties involved (all high-ranking PTB snakes) tortured by their own AA, for once. I hope the Rooney-Rule is one day extended to assistant coaches, scouts, owners, etc. All current whites at all levels of the NFL have done nothing but destroy white athletes in every way...what do we have to lose at this point?

Thrashen,

Your a man after my own heart. I always say to people about Affirmative Action, that there aren't enough black airline pilots. That Blacks should make up the same amount of airline pilots as their percentage in the population. People really aren't amused by that one.

Yeah Thrashen. Jim Haslett's name has come up as the potential head coach for the Bills. Really don't know if he is seriously being considered. Who among us would care if Haslett was a finalist with a Rooney Rule candidate and the job went to the minority? Keith Poole and Kyle Turley might even get some satisfaction out of that.

I think Carroll is also president and has all final personnel decisions. Welcome to USC north...

I have never liked Carroll and his phony attitude. I bet he has his hand on the Blarney Stone when he talks about about Reggie Bust and the illegal booster payments he was getting. Or his naive answers on why he never thought Toby Gerhart could carry the rock at the D1 level...
