hum.. 6-3.... well, good luck to him at any place kind enough to give him a scholardship to play FB or LB....

aside from sarcasm, I see that he got an offer from LSU, so he must be talented.

edit: Ranked 4 stars on scout.com, no.6 just behind mcguffie, thats great!Edited by: Gi-15

I noticed a trend though. On rivals.com it seems like every white kid they show his GPA, anditis usually above a 3.5, however the only acedemic thing they show for the black guys is occasionly an ACT score. go on it and count how many top ten black athletes have a GPA above 3.0.

I hope he stays in state, but it will be nice to have another talented, white feature back anywhere. I get a feeling the SEC schools will lose interest and he'll end up at Utah or BYU.

Alta plays at home against Timpanogos Friday at 4PM Mountain time. I am thinking of going to watch two of the best teams in the state, at least as far as winning goes. Cottonwood plays at Timpview at 3:30 tomorrow. Timpview is a power here in the Utah Valley.

Cultural bias.

HAHAHA!! You sound like my old sociology professor!

Yep, thats right on, and part of the reason I am planning to teach sociology, and from a different point of view. Like so many parts of academia, it needs a conservative balance badly.

A 21-17 victory over the #1 team in the state puts Shakerin's Alta team in the State Championship game next Friday.
The game was a defensive struggle with Sausan totalling 90 yards on 26 carries with 3 touchdowns.

Sausan's season totals to date:
1,056 yards 180 carries, 14TD
Not bad, considering he missed some time and was playing hurt when he did come back.

"There had been rumors of late that all schools save BYU were only looking at Shakerin to play linebacker, leading Shakerin to lean toward BYU as his final destination. Shakerinn denied such rumors to TBS.

"That's not true at all," said Shakerin. "All the schools that are recruiting me are recruiting me as a running back, so no, I'm not being recruited as a linebacker as far as I know." "

'as far as i know' is the key phrase there...

we've seen how this turns out countless times in the past.

Sausan's highlight reel from Rivals. Somebody put it up on youtube. His stupid Scout page says he is a straight-ahead runner without any 'shake and bake'. This video completely destroys that myth.

He reminds me of dare I say it Eric Dickerson the same build and running style. He could possibly be the best running back to play in all of the WAC. I truly hope he plays as a true freshman. I do not beleive a 3 star running back has ever decided to play football in the WAC can someone tell me if I am right.
