Damnit Nall... Doubt he had much of a market as a FA anyway.. Fact he's stuck behind a midget is infuriating.

So far his career is playing out as a poor man's Brian Leonard. Same Jack of All Trades, Master of None treatment.

Here's a typical moronic, mocking squib about Nall: "Have we seen the last of preseason legend Ryan Nall? Or does he have another legendary performance in store for this year’s finale? Nall is best known for tearing it up in the preseason since signing as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He’s currently battling for a spot on the roster with fellow Oregon State Beaver Artavis Pierce. Nall didn’t play a single snap last week against the Buffalo Bills so he’ll be looking to make another statement this weekend." https://bearswire.usatoday.com/lists/bears-roster-players-to-watch-preseason-finale-titans/

A real journalist, or someone capable of thinking for himself, would question why a perennial preseason star never gets opportunities in the regular season, except for a couple up the gut hand-offs with no holes to run through. And if Nall was say a Black QB in a league in which virtually all the quarterbacks were still White and had been for decades, the questions about his regular season usage would come long and hard from all quarters. But instead, in this land of "White privilege," the easy way out is to make fun of the situation.

Based on his 1 carry and 1 target, I’m expecting the sadistic Rodent Nagy to finally “caste” him aside. This would be a good thing if not for the very realistic possibility that every other NFL team also decides to pass. We’ve seen too many other talented players careers cut short in similar manners. We have to prepare for the worst.

Considering Artravis Pierce (Nall's teammate at Oregon St - a player when compared with Nall who is inferior in ever way), Damien Williams and Khalil Herbert received more carries than Nall it's obvious how the Rodent views him. He did not even let him have a chance for another "breakout" preseason game. No real surprise though or loss if Nall gets cut.

I'm rooting for him to get cut. Try out for another team that will actually play you. Worst case he can go play in the CFL. Anything in better than being on the Bears. I
call them the Bad News Bears like the very old little league movie from the 1970's.

Nall getting called up to the active roster for Sunday

Only if we could see several carries.....

Again to the lurkers....
Nall is bigger, faster and had equal or better stats in college against similar competition.
All of the pre-season giant performances seem to not matter.

This would be so cool if he ever got a shot like Peyton Hillis did. We all know what would happen!!!

Unleash the Human Wrecking Ball Ryan Nall. :)

I wish Nall the best, but I don't think he'll be given much opportunity. The guy's been jerked around for way too long.

Jake Funk's on a much fairer team and he's only gotten one carry so far.

Anyone wanna bet The Rodent doesn't screw over Nall again even under these circumstances:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Damien Williams is COVID positive and will be sidelined for Week 6 against the Packers.
Had he not been positive, Williams could have been active after returning two negative tests. Since he has the coronavirus himself, Williams cannot clear the protocol in time for Sunday's game. It leaves rookie Khalil Herbert as the Bears' unquestioned lead back, with only end-of-bench pass catcher Ryan Nall offering any alternative in the backfield. With the Bears wanting to go run heavy as they try to hide rookie QB Justin Fields, Herbert has serious RB2 appeal even with the Bears running as big-time home underdogs.

Nothing would be better than to see the Rodent/Rat/Scumbag be forced to play him and to see Nall explode in a regular season game.

All these commie bastard coach's and commies in general make me sick to my stomach!

If Nall gets more than 1 token carry, I’ll be shocked.

I agree with Freethinker, he will get 1 maybe 2 token carries and they will come in a situation where he has no chance of gaining more than a yard or two

Bears will find a way to screw him. No way they can afford to have another Forsey like performance.

They won’t play Nall, easily the most talented back in their roster. Doing so, besides going against the Marxist ******** inhabiting Western culture, would essentially prove how absolutely horrible of coaches and management the Bears have. They cannot allow that to be know that they have purposefully let their best running back (by a long shot) waste away on the bench only because of his skin color. There is literally no other reason: he is bigger, stronger, faster as has far better receiving and blocking skills than Montgomery (not to mention the other black scrubs in the roster).

I think the Bears will go find a homeless black guy off the street to play before they give Nall a chance.

I think the only way he gets a chance is due to injury.

I too was thinking how similar this was to the Brock Forsey situation of years ago. Nice if it works out like that for him.

Good to see Nall get signed, which I had doubts about. Elliott and Pollard are the only two RBs of any ability and name recognition above him on the depth chart. Elliott has been trending downward the past two seasons, to the point that Pollard is now the best running back on the Cowboys. So it may only take an injury or two for the "Hillis Curse" to come into play. At least we can always hope. . .

At worst McCarthy sees Nall as a John Kuhn plus type?! Encouraging news.

This is better than sitting on the bench. At least he has a slight chance to play in Dallas. He was lost in the permanent black hole in Chicago.

Yeah he should at least have a fair shot in Dallas. Pollard and Elliott are a good 1-2 but there always needs to be a capable 3rd guy and the Cowboys haven’t had that in a while.

Dallas is a decent landing spot for Nall...although I don't think any place could have been worse than Chicago. Glad he got out of there.
