Regardless the voter support that Ron Paul enjoys will be needed.
He can not be ignored anymore, have you noticed that the anointed one Romney has been going out of his way to make sure that he does not insult the good doctor, or his supporters? There is no way to the white house without Ron Paul.

CNN just predicted a Newt win. What a fraud! And if not fraud; what a country of sheeple we live in! I guess that the 5 Million single donation was helpful. So much for those value voters in SC. Can I get any Christian consistency out there? Nah didn't think so.

An apparent Newt victory has been talked about for the last few days or so. He led in the most recent polls by about 10 points over Romney. He is winning the "conservative" vote which is very sad as he is just another pro-war, pro-immigration fox news conservative. South Carolina is hardly Ron Paul country as it is so pro-military, which sadly often means pro-war. It is disturbing that there is no paper trail.

SC is chalk full of NeoCON'd judeo-"Christians" of the megachurch stock. They probably can't see their way into to backing Mormon Mitt, so it's either wimpy Santorium or egomaniac Newt for those weak minded simpletons. :dodgy:

Every so often a guy gets his brains knocked out. All Dr. Paul has to do is shake the dust of South Carolina off and move on as if nothing happened.

There is an obvious attempt to keep somebody from being the clear front runner in the primary. The engineered "surge" for Frothy the week before the Iowa caucus, and now the engineered "surge" for Gingrich in S. Carolina. Just an observation. All the media gets behind somebody right before vote time and it seems 20-30% of the people just fall in line with what they are told. I think they are engineering a plan for a brokered convention, and are going to roll out Jeb Bush and Michelle Bachman as his VP. Then all the Rush Limbaugh talk radio types will tell the base how great it is that we have a moral and true conservative in the race. The cable media will then pile on and tell us for the first time this election cycle the republican base is energized. etc...etc....

I think the days of the "brokered" convention are long past. When was the last time a non-primary delegate leader was not picked as the candidate? 1940? 1840? Amerikans are too engaged in the sideshow of "democracy" that the silly primary "elections" present. To violate that and go pick someone that has not faced the whithering criticism of the media is something that will not happen in this modern age of video politics. The political parties are no longer private entities that can select their candidates by whatever means they wish, they are now fully part of the two (one) party government office filling bureau and will follow the established rules.

I think has more to do with none of the candidates having broad appeal. Santorum winning in Iowa makes sense. Santorum plays to the values voters. However, that doesn't translate well to New Hampshire. Romney winning in New Hampshire makes sense too. He is a northeastern moderate. But, along with his Mormonism, that hurts him in South Carolina. South Carolina was either going to be Santorum or Gingrich. Being that South Carolina is the epicenter of neocon sycophants a Gingrich win is hardly surprising. That Paul finished last doesn't surprise me either. South Carolina votes for open borders and war.

The last time the delegate leader was not picked and a nominee came from the convention, was the 1952 Democratic convention. Tennessee Senator Estes Kefauver led going in due to a string of primary victories. The Democratic party bosses, led by President Harry Truman, who had declined to run again, were against Kefauver.

Illinois Governor Adlai Stevenson was chosen on the 6th ballot.

One way to look at each state primary is to consider them an intelligence test on the average IQ of their citizenry. The stupider they are, the more likely they are to follow whatever the MSM tells them. So far in the early going, the simpletons in Iowa and SC are atop the brain-dead moron totem pole by voting for a couple of war-mongering Israel-first clowns as winners. There's also that whole matter of electronic voting, no paper trail of any kind, and it's all about who counts the votes.

I was two years old at the time. As part of the deal for the nomination, Stevenson took the segregationist Sparkman on the ticket as his running mate.

No offense to any South Carolinians out there but that state has the most retarded Republicans in the country. THey were the idiots that secured it for McCain the last time and this time it looks like they may have finished off Ron Paul. Whenever I'm in SC they always bitch about the influx of illegals which is changing that state completely. So what do they do when they get a chance to vote? Back the pro immigrant guy.

With Paul a distant fourth in the running and not planning on doing much in Florida I think he is going to lose momentum. He probably won't drop but he will be limping to the finish line like last time as the only one providing token opposition to whoever wraps it up on Super Tuesday.

Good GOD, the possibility of a Gingrich presidency is frightening.

Or Romney. Or Santorum. Or another 4 years of Obama. I guess we're screwed no matter what. Another win for the banksters and PTB.

It is hard to believe that anyone, other than Mister Diebold, actually voted for the pig puppet Gingrich.

Witnesses Document Potential Vote Fraud in S.C. Primaries

After Newt Gingrich’s stunning victory in the South Carolina Republican primaries on Saturday, there are now questions surrounding the vote counting process that took place Saturday night...

Gingrich’s Major Backer Arch-Zionist Sheldon Adelson By: My Catbird Seat

Adelson’s money enabled Gingrich to win South Carolina, and Adelson could put much more into Gingrich’s campaign. With such financial support, Gingrich might be able to gain the Republican presidential nomination, but it would seem that he has too much baggage to actually defeat Obama, at least this is the conventional wisdom–though stranger things have happened. Nonetheless, having pro-Israel Republican candidates led by Gingrich pushes Obama in a more pro-Israel direction, which entails a harder US line toward Iran. No matter what happens in the US presidential election, therefore, US Middle East policy will be improved from the Likudnik perspective. And this is Sheldon Adelson’s objective.

Iowa vote fraud official
Tags:

It’s official, or is it? Once again the establishment is showing it’s cards in an obvious attempt to defraud Ron Paul from the nomination, as Iowa GOP ‘officials’ purposely disrupt and permanently invalidate the 2012 Iowa Caucus.
The official Caucus website, in conjunction with the Des Moines Register, had to come forward Thursday to claim the official results can “never be certified†after 8 different precincts turn up invalid results due to “missing votes†and changing stories.

US to send old warship to Persian Gulf

On board of the oldest US aircraft carrier, the USS Enterprise, Panetta told the crowd of 1,700 sailors that the 50-year-old ship is heading to the Persian Gulf region in a direct message to Tehran.
With the collapse of the oil embargo to force Iran into a confrontation over the Straight of Hormuz, the US and Israel are looking for another way to get the long-sought war with Iran started, and more to the point, need to make it look like Iran is starting hostilities in order to make it politically more difficult for Russia and China to support Iran.
Now, recall that Israel has a past history of attacking US warships and framing others to trick the US into attacks on Israel's enemies, with the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty (initially blamed on Egypt) as the most well-known example.
So here we have the USS Enterprise, the oldest carrier in the fleet, on her last legs, scheduled to be decommissioned next year. Her name is well known, in part because of the Star Trek TV series. Decommissioning a nuclear aircraft carrier is a very expensive process. USS Enterprise is powered by 8 nuclear reactors, all of which must be disposed of as nuclear waste material along with all the associated machinery. The US Navy would save a great deal of money, more than the scrap worth of the steel, if USS Enterprise were to be sunk in the Persian Gulf, where the radioactive mess is someone else's problem to deal with.
So, why send an ancient ship at the end of her useful life into harms way? The same reason Franklin Roosevelt moved a bunch of obsolete warships from San Diego to Pearl Harbor, while the newer carriers and warships were well away from Hawaii on December 7th, 1941.
Israel has 3 Dolphin submarines, given to her by Germany. They have been seen transiting the Suez Canal in the past, and could well be operating in the Gulf of Oman, even the Persian Gulf by now, lying in wait for a used-up and obsolete warship, more useful as a sacrificial lamb than an actual weapon, a ship with American sailors, to be attacked as Israel attacked the USS Liberty, then to be blamed on the designated target, Iran, by a compliant media.
If you agree with my analysis, please post the above everywhere you see this carrier story. If we can make them doubt a false-flag will be believed, maybe they will call it off.

Exactly. They will complain about the illegals but refuse to vote according to what Vdare calls the National Question.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. They probably plan to keep the mulato thing from parts unknown (as they used to say in wrasslin) and its welfare queen wife (or husband, as the case may be) for another 4 years, in case this country lasts that long.

Seems Rand Paul got into some sort of mess with the tsa. That's one reason I stay out of airports as much as possible. I can't stand fedgov workers.

At this stage, it's difficult to understand why any intelligent American would believe that our votes are being honestly counted. Read "Votescam" by the Collier brothers- much of it is still available online. After the 2000 Florida fiasco, I thought more sheeple would be awake on this issue. Clearly, I was wrong.

We already know there were several strange goings on in Iowa. The idea that a total nonentity like Santorium, with zero charisma, little money and small crowds everywhere could suddenly "surge" from almost nothing to the lead is ludicrous. The same goes for Gingrich in SC- earlier that week, I saw him in polls (that had Ron Paul 2nd) in fourth place, in the low teens. Exactly what did he do to "surge" from that to an easy, 40+% victory in such a short time? A South Carolina official came out shortly after the primary and reported that more than 900 dead voters had cast their choice in the primary. I think we can safely guess that no one in authority will be the least bit curious about that.

In New Hampshire, we had the guy who taped the vote tallies, before they ventured off somewhere in a Warren Commission-like chain of possession, that showed Romney with 2 votes in that particular precinct. The trouble is that later official tallies recorded Romney with 22 votes in that precinct. I think we can speculate that this was not an isolated incident. Remember, also, that the undercover group exposing how easy it was to vote in a dead person's name was rewarded for their whistleblowing by having the governor and other state officials threaten THEM with prosecution for vote fraud.

It's a sad but undeniable fact that the outomes of these elections are predetermined. Electronic counting, mysterious computer programs that "project" outcomes with almost perfect accuracy, the secretive Voter News Service, that seemingly controls the entire process- it's all anathema to any notion of free and open elections.

This is a bit off topic, but I just found some great shots of Ron Paul playing baseball in the classic 1970's Houston Astros uniform. Just thought some CF posters would enjoy these photos. I found them today, while looking up news that the franchise could possibly change their name (a terrible idea)...BTY, I knew RP had been office for a long time (over 20 years), but wow....didn't realize how long he's proudly served.

That is absolutely frickin amazing, I almost thought there is nothing more I could like about the guy but that tidbit of history is awesome. It also mentioned he is the only guy to hit one over the fence in the annual congressional ballgame which is even more amazing. If only he was still young and youthful like in those old pictures there would be no stopping him.
