New registrations are suspended for the time being. CF is being swamped with spammers who sign up and then some of them start posting junk on the forum, sometimes in the form of dozens of new threads. I've been deleting them frequently; by way of example when I woke up the other day there had been about 40 new ones who had signed up overnight. We haven't been able to find a way to thwart them yet and I'm not interested in continuing to spend lots of my time deleting them one by one.

We don't get many serious new posters signing up who actually want to post, due to the censorship and marginalization of Caste Football by search engines among other causes, so for now anyone lurking who wants to begin contributing to the site should use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page, give the username and password they want (and it's easy enough to change a password later) and they'll be added manually.

Bummer. As the internet gods have dictated; they will allow your freedom of speech, but deny you freedom of reach. And I’m sure they’ll send plenty of bots your way, as well. It’s a damn shame that very few legitimate new posters will find their way to the site. I even miss the periodic legitimate dissenters who would sign up and debate everybody.

I am going to stop dropping the Caste Football URL all over twitter. Curious to see if that brings down the bot traffic that has been coming to the site.

I don't know if it's different in the US but in terms of reach, if you type caste football into Google in the uk its the first site to come up.....typing nfl football forum in it doesn't come up in the first three pages though....

It's the same here, but to get that result one has to already be aware of the site. Type "white cornerbacks" or anything else pertaining to sports and race and it's a much different result.

Are these all clearly bots signing up? Maybe extra layers of verification upon signup could help stop? I don’t know what the current process is, but I’ve heard if you set things up to require email verification in the initial signup step, and the account doesn’t create till email is verified, that eliminates bots.

Just an idea, I don’t know how complicated this stuff is either so it’s easy for me to throw out an idea, but I don’t know how any of it works.

My webmaster has been tinkering with different things to try and stem the flow. I believe registrations are now turned back on for the time being and the spammers are just trickling in now at a more manageable rate, hopefully it stays that way.

Apparently there are now a lot of AI bots to go with the traditional search engine bots and spammers. My webmaster thinks the ones who were signing up in huge numbers are human or mostly human so they're hard to stop from registering. It never fails to amaze me how everything gets ruined, whether it's robocalls and spammers calling regularly (the do not call list is useless), email, websites, etc. And the fedgov which loves to try to micro-manage the lives of the deplorables, doesn't do a damn thing about it.

I imagine how frustrating this is. Anything to keep the truth from emerging, it seems.

I continue to vouch for the validity and candor of this forum. And take any chance I can, across social media platforms, to espouse the excellence of white players and the racism against them.
