2023 third round draft pick who amounted to nothing despite having ample opportunities with the Browns:

Browns waived Cedric Tillman.​

The 2023 third-round pick will be subject to waivers. If no team claims him, Tillman will be free to sign wherever he chooses. Tillman appeared to be on the precipice of a breakout in 2024, posting 330 yards over five games in the middle of the season. An injury then knocked him out for the remainder of the year, and he failed to find much of a role in 2025. Even if he clears waivers, several teams will likely be interested in taking a flyer on Tillman after 53-man rosters start to shake out.

Might be too early to label this "generational talent" a bust, but.....

Ordinarily, a receiver getting off to a poor start to the season wouldn't be all that notable. It happens. The difference is that Harrison isn't just any wide receiver. He's the son of Marvin Harrison, one of the greatest receivers of all time. He's the former No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft. And he was widely considered one of the best wide receiver prospects in years when he came out of Ohio State. And he's already been disappointing through the first two years of his career. So this cold start is especially notable, and especially alarming. He looks like he could go down as a huge draft bust if anything remotely like this keeps up.
