Pro Football Hall of Fame 2020 Class

The Pro Football Hall of Fame 2020 Class for the Modern Era has been announced:

Steve Hutchinson
Troy Polamalu
Isaac Bruce
Edgerrin James
Steve Atwater

They will be inducted this year along with the previously named Centennial Class.

Glad Hutchinson made it, most deserving, but it remains a disgrace that Alan Faneca hasn't. He made more Pro Bowls and was named an All-Pro more times than Hutchinson. Both were beasts, as good as there's been at the guard position. Alan Faneca should be enshrined at Canton.

Beyond the slam dunk first year candidates the hall of fame seems to have candidates lined up similar to cars waiting to park at a max capacity parking lot. The less glamorous the position the longer you have to wait, Faneca should get in the next year or two. John Lynch might be a guy who falls through the cracks, but safeties all of a sudden are getting recognition as elite defensive backs not "guys that can't play corner back", so you never know if he gets in a year or two.
