Fumbles cost the Vikings the game. Favre was just trying to make a play on the last interception. If the pass went incomplete, the chances of making the long field goal of 55-56 yards were slim to none. If Favre tried to run, he would have likely been stopped with maybe a 2-3 yard gain. Yes, it looked like he had room to run, but if you check out the replay, at least one defender had a clear bead on him. As you all know, players in the NFL are very fast and would've closed the gap quickly. Bottom line is that without a completion of significant yardage, the Vikings had little chance of making a field goal at 50 yds, plus. So Favre threw the ball into traffic and it was intercepted. Big deal. The Vikings were still in the game and had a chance to win it. The fumbles, on the other hand, were killers. No. 28 dropped the ball in the redzone which cost them a field goal and likely a TD. In addition, another running back fumbled away the ball at crunch time in the 2nd half deep in Vikings territory which cost them a TD. Folks, that's a 10-14 point turnaround which was easily the difference in the game. I thought Favre actually played very well, and the interception at the end of the game probably cost the Vikings 0 points as the kicker was not going to make the 50 yard field goal anyway. Ah, but Favre's white and the running backs are coal black, so let's just blame the white guy.

qj: Ryan Longwell, the Vikings kicker, was 6 for 6 in kicks over 50 yards this season.

Hey DWID is your video on Shipley updated???
nah, not yet I haven't had the time to update it, I will get to it soon, definitely before the combine

As for the Viking's kicker, they showed a graphic of how many kicks he has made in the post season, and it was very low compared to his regular season record. I don't remember exactly but I thought I saw 57 percent? I could be wrong though.

I'm glad to see some people here opening speculating about fixed games. It's easier to see when it's the team you want to win that is on the short end of the script. Usually, that's the team with more white players than the other. Anyone who saw the last play in the Packers- Cardinals game knows the game was fixed. Period. Face mask penalties are just about the easiest ones to detect, and the ones they seldom miss. You mean to tell me that the ref who was standing right there didn't see that? Come on! What "honest" officials would want a game to end on a play like that, because of an overlooked penalty?

I grow more and more convinced that these are scripted events. I don't know the specifics, but certainly the refs can determine outcomes all by themselves. Between holding, pass interference, illegal procedure and illegal blocks in the back, virtually every game can be controlled by the men in stripes. Start noticing how often blatant blocks from behind go uncalled, and then question why it is ever called. In the Ravens-Patriots game, on the play when Flacco ran for a first down (after Harbaugh challenged the spot), you could see a Raven knock down a Patriot from behind, right in front of one of those upstanding officials. The official somehow missed it (much like the refs in wrestling don't see any of those "foreign objects in the ring"), and the "honest" announcers didn't mention it, either. This happens repeatedly, in very game, in every season.

Btw, Mike Tyson is hosting Monday Night Raw tonight. Earlier this season, Ben Roethlesberger hosted it. These "legitimate" sports don't even try to distance thsmselves from scripted entertainment any more. It's so obvious that I honestly think a lot of them wouldn't even deny it if a real journalist even exposed the fix. More importantly, I don't think the majority of drunk white fans would care, either.

Above is an example of Bigunreal claiming the 2009 Cardinal-Packer playoff game was fixed and scripted.

I do wonder at times if bigunreal is a troll. He lives outside of D.C. and likely works for the fedgov. His over the top paranoia is dubious to put it mildly.

That must have taken you a while to dig that old post up, Sport Historian. Can't say you aren't passionate about disagreeing with me.

You'll note that, in my long rant, I postulate that the referees by themselves could easily control the outcomes of games, with or without any player's participation. I don't see how anyone can deny that this is at least theoretically possible. A holding penalty, a pass interference penalty, at the right moments, is all that is needed in most contests.

I have never worked for any government agency at any level. It's pointless to declare "I am not a troll." What troll would admit to being one? There is a best selling book out on the market right now, "The Fix Is In," by Brian Tuohy. It is widely available, and has been discussed on even some mainstream talk shows. Google his name and you should be able to find some of his interviews online. There are many people out there who have wondered about the legitimacy of our sacred sporting events.

I find it odd that Sport Historian is considered a fine, upstanding member here, while I am barely tolerated at times. SH has consistently denigrated white athletes and promoted black ones on this forum. He thinks Jerry Smith should not be in the HOF, while mediocre blacks like Charlie Sanders should be. He rails against the "overrated" Paul Krause. Most of the time, his posts are indistinguishable from mainstream journalistic pablum. He could easily be a talking head on ESPN with his views.

Don, I respect you a great deal for starting this web site. It's truly an oasis in the desert. I agree with you on most all issues. Why haven't you ever castigated Sport Historian over his lack of support for white athletes? Why do you take me to task, on the other hand, for criticizing Carson Palmer, Brett Favre, etc., when my criticism revolves around their own lack of support for white athletes? You have stated many times that the stated purpose of this forum is to support white athletes. Sport Historian doesn't, on a consistent basis, and yet he always seems to have your support.

I have refrained from even mentioning the "f" word on this forum for quite some time, out of respect for you. SH clearly seeks to bait me here, by taking anything I say that is remotely related to this issue, even to the point of finding and reposting something I wrote years ago. I did not want to reopen this subject. Why does he?

Another poster expressed curiosity about BR's previous "fixing" posts, so I went back and found the one about this playoff game of three years ago.

Want me to produce the one ("Another Fixed Super Bowl") about Super Bowl XLIV? Or when you wrote that white players accepted the fixing? I never wrote that Peyton Manning and other white stars went along with the rigged games as you did.

In a way I find BR's Conspiracy posts to be somewhat entertaining as comic relief.

The refs are corrupt, that's for sure. The replacement ones were painfully obvious in their racial bias.

You haven't directly mentioned the "f" word, but you do allude to it a lot. I've explained why I think it's detrimental to the site numerous times, and also why I disagree with criticizing White athletes for not living up to certain standards or for not having or sharing our understanding of racial issues. Walk in their shoes, as the saying goes, before knocking them for trying to do as well as they can in a black environment. At any rate, as I've written several times, I like most of your posts when you stay away from that topic and you weren't the one who brought it up this week. I don't really think you're a troll, just annoying at times.

One of the teams that seems like a lock for a 2012 playoff berth is the Houston Texans.

The Texans have a number of white players to root for. These players have been instrumental to the Texans' success this year. Here are some of them.

1. QB Matt Schaub
2. FB James Casey
3. WR Kevin Walter
4. TE Owen Daniels
5. C Chip Myers
6. DE JJ Watt
7. LB Brooks Reed
8. LB Connor Barwin

Watt is one of the best players in football and is a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year.

Brian Cushing is another outstanding white player on the Texans but he is injured and out for the year.

Cushing is a great football player, but an absolute scumbag as a person. Listen to him mic'd up on youtube sometime, you may just change your mind on him

Looking at the Texans, Broncos, Patriots, they all seem to stop recruiting white players after a certain quota is filled, I wonder how many white starters you can start before the magical cut off point to be deemed "not racist".
