Its kind of odd that Philly picked up 5 white receivers. Riley Cooper, Kevin Jurovich, Pat Simonds, Chad Hall and Blue Cooper. Im surprised that they didn't pick up Blair White as well, but its odd Blair White also went to a team with a bunch of white receivers, so his chances of seeing the field this year are very, very small. I wish these guys were spread around the league so they have more of a chance to get a on a team. Chad Hall could be used like Westbrook (and what better time to use him that way now that Westbrook is gone?) but the Eagles wouldn't dare to use a white player like that, actually taking handoffs and being in the backfield, a spot he is most suited for.
I think Jackson's role will be reduced this year, the new offense is going to involve alot more than just running deep down the field against blown coverage (Jackson had more yards against blown coverage than any other wide receiver last year, I think it was like half of his yards). In the new offense, the outside receivers will have to run a lot of slants, drags,
hitches, curls, and quick outs (some of those leave you more prone to getting a big hit) instead of just posts, corner patterns or
just straight up basic go routes. Jackson isn't afraid of going across the middle or getting hit, but when he did he got a concussion, the guy is small, not in height but in weight. Only being 175 pounds at 5'10 isn't much bulk. Chad Hall is 5'8 but has his weight up to 193.
