Peja had another great game last night lighting the Lakers up for 26 points in a victory.Stojakovic has to
be the best shooter in the NBA.He hit 13 out of 13 free throws and is the go to man on the Kings.Peopled don't really appreciate how good Peja is.We need more guys like him in the league.He started off a little slow but is now averaging 20 points a game on the year.Last season,Peja was the 2nd leading scorer in the NBA.
 
I think Peja is the type of guy you would wont to build a team around. He has the ability to make the other players around him better. He is one of the best pure shooters in the game. Once he gets heated up during a game its like he cant be stopped. I do remember going on another message board and I was reading how all these people were saying that Peja wasn't a good player and that he couldn't shoot anymore but now I go on the same message board and the people that was saying he sucks are now saying he is a great shooter. Oh well you cant expect much from those guys on the ESPN message boards.
 
Let's see what he can do in the postseason this
year. I hope that he can dominate the defensive
specialists that the opposing teams will throw at
him, like Trent Hassell and Bruce Bowen. So far
they've gotten the best of him. Good luck to Peja.
 
Peja had 37 points last night.He is really starting to
heat it up.I wish he didn't have to play with ball hog
Chris Webber.I've hated him since his Michigan days.
The west is wide open this year and it will be a dog
fight in the playoffs.Brad Miller needs to get his game
back to where it was last season.He is a great rebounder
and a good scorer.
 
Peja scored a career high 42 last night and scored the Hornets first 20 points. What a game for Peja.

Ray Allen, Peja Stojakovic, Jason Kidd, and Brent Barry are the only active players. Peja will overtake Van Exel, Hardaway, Eddie Jones, and Glen Rice either by the end of the season, or early next season (2009-10).

Peja's latest tally as of now is 1,502</span> 3 points made.
 
Brent Barry will overtake Antoine Walker the Buffoon!

Steve Nash has strong chance to join Peja in that 1,500 club.

The Hornets beat the Heat 91-87. This was Peja's best game since returning from injury. Peja made a crucial steal over Dwayne Wade and made the winning FT's. The 5 triples he made were the most since he hit 7 as mentioned above. He now has 1,564 3 pointers, that's 4th on the All-time 3FGM list overtaking Glenn Rice. Way to go, Peja!!

Though the Horents lost 105-100 to the Suns, this is the best stretch for Peja back from the injury. He now has 1,568 3 pointers, no. 4 all-time. He should overtake Dale Ellis somewhere next season. This man is really special in his own way, despite being on the decline due to injuries.
 
and Hornets fan constantly diss him for this odd reason:
they say he sometimes makes these quick/awkward jerky type move shots, that he sometime misses

so apparently some of his shots he has an awkward motion to, and some of those shots he misses.

Has anyone noticed this from him? I haven't noticed any awkwardness. He does miss some shots (so does everyone else) but hes very consistent from what I have seen.

This odd reason to not like him is very confusing. It is the weirdest thing I have heard to not like a player

Hes one of the better players on the team, went he went down the team struggled for quite a while.
 
This is no surprise, always go after the white player. Dirk endured this kind of criticism so many this over. These idiots don't realize that Chris Paul, David West, Tyson Chandler, James Posey, and the coach himself Byron Scott, get a share of the blame for the team's failure.

It's a team sport, Peja helps make everyone good around him and vice-versa. If he's not playing well, then the team suffers. It proves how important a player he really is. Plus, Chris Paul and David West for once, show their inexperience. Very unfair to pin most of the blame on Peja.

Peja Stojakovic had a wonderful game against Boston despite his team losing 97-87:

In just 23 minutes, he managed to pull this off. I still say he's got a lot left in him, despite that nagging back problem. I'll be extremely happy if he can duke it out for a few more years, just enough for him to over take Dale Ellis to become the 3rd best all-time 3-point shooter in NBA history.
 
Great shooting by Peja. He has had an amazing career. The glory days in Sacramento still bring back good memories. Great to have j41181 back posting on a regular basis. You are awesome when it comes to basketball. I'm actually excited about this season for the first time in a while.
 
Peja had his best game after so many lousy efforts. I know the Hornets have hit rock bottom with Byron Scott's dismissal and Chris Paul's nasty injury (out for a month). But, this will get ol' Peja into the thick of things again. He should be their No. 1 option for the time being. I look to seeing him display some impressive outings in the next 4 weeks.

I honestly had NO plans to post here today. But, after watching the Serbian Sniper display an amazing shooting exhibition, I just had to. Peja led the Hornets to a surprising upset on the Suns, 110-103. It's OK, Phoenix will recover, still 5 months to go in this long NBA season. This has to be the best overall performance by Peja in such a long, long while. It seems to me that Chris Paul's injury (with all do respect to him) might have opened new opportunities for Peja (as often is the case for most white players, NFL or NBA) to shine once again. Welcome back Peja, for now!

Peja's done it again, another strong performance for the Serbian Sniper. The Hornets beat the much improved Hawks 96-88. Chris Paul will be out for another 3 weeks, and the Hornets improve 3-1 w/o him. Enjoy Peja while he's having his new found success. No disrespect to Chris Paul, but I found it odd how Peja doesn't play well with him recently. I hope the next 3 weeks will finally shake all the rust from Peja, by the time Chris Paul returns.

I just watched Peja perform today, and it's definitely one of his better moments in recent times. He's on striking distance to overtake long-retired Dale Ellis for 3rd place in the All-Time 3pt FG's list!

I'm also very hopeful he'll reach 2,000 3pt's made plateau!

It is so refreshing to see a guy that is a pure shooter play the game. I have watched this guy since I was a young man. I love his talent, and tenacity. He is one of my top ten all time favorite nba players. I hope he can play a few more years.

He's now a free agent, his contract having been bought out by the Raptors. I hope he gets picked up by not only a winning team, but also let's him play big minutes.

I'm pissed how the Raptors just ditched him, he's No.5 in All-Time 3pt's and could still light it up if given big minutes. Since he's not been playing for the past 2 months, I'm sure his back is feeling much better. It'd be very sad to see him retire in this manner.

I still remember that epic series. The Kings were up 3 to 1. The Lakers win game 5 by an unreal last second shot by Robert "Big Shot Bob" Hory. If he doesn't make that shot, Kings win that series and probably the Championship that year.

I really hope everything goes the Mavs way this year.
 
All of the six three-pointers Peja hit yesterday were all net, didn't even graze the rim! It was reported on ESPN today that Dirk and Peja get in shooting contests all the time during practice and Dirk has never beat Peja. That's hard to believe considering how great a shooter Dirk is.
