Is it just me or is this game taking a long a** time to play? It's almost 6:30 and it's barely going into the 4th quarter.

Nice try by Rivers, but better play by the NE defender. And why wasn't the hit to the face on the defender a penalty? They picked up the flag.

Ouch. Looks like the game's over. That was a huge catch by Jackson. I thought the NE defender had a better chance at the ball than he did.

Tomlinson in for the TD.

Chargers up 21-13.

Pats will get a TD and the 2-point conversion to tie it up. I'm confident.

Another stupid penalty on the Chargers. Hope the Patriots can do something with the extra 15 yards.

UN - BE - LIEV - ABLE.

Brady throws the INT on 4th and 5, the defender then fumbles the ball and Patriots recover. First down, Patriots. Holy Shee-it.

Marty challenges, but.. looked pretty clear to me. We'll see.

Does somebody upstairs want the Patriots to win this game or what? Talk about getting the breaks in a game! Edited by: White Shogun

"The more I watch this game the more I'm left with the impression the Chargers deserve to lose. Watching what is happening on the field, you'd think the Chargers would be winning 30-10 by now. But it's still close and the Patriots could still pull this one out of the hat."

Yeah I agree. Looks like the bolts are trying their damndest to give this game away. What the hell was the penalty for the headbutt? Stupid black behavior? What a moron.

Both teams are stinking it up. The Chargers can't seem to quit effing everything up, and Brady is off his game big time. Edited by: Animalmuther0

I f*cking hate the Patriots!!!! No matter how bad they play, either the refs will give them a break or some negro on the other team will. On a 4th and 5 you intercept the ball 15 yards down field? Then fumble? What is going on in this monkey's brain. Your making millions of dollars a year and yet you play with the IQ of a ten year old? I can't watch any more.

If the winner of this game plays like this next weekend, I'll be happy.

Touchdown, Patriots. Two point conversion..

Again - unbelievable. Tie game.

Wow. Just wow.

Can the Patriots hold the Chargers? All they need is a field goal. But the closer the game is, the less time on the clock.. the more your gut tells you the Patriots are going to pull it out after all. Edited by: White Shogun

Two dropped passes by NE receivers, Graham and Faulk. The Graham pass would have been a huge play, Faulk's looked like he would have been stopped before gaining the first.

Wow! What a pass by Brady and catch by Reche Caldwell! San Diego burned by a former Charger! If the guy had better balance, he would have scored a TD!

Is it me or does it look like the Patriots are playing for the field goal?

Patriots 24-21.

Geez.... why didn't Gates try to get out of bounds? What did he think he was going to accomplish? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Kaeding = Norwood.

Patriots win. Edited by: White Shogun

From the caste point of view, it was a bad weekend.

The white Colts quarterback beat the black Ravens quarterback and the their thug black defense.

The white linebackers and Drew Brees of the Saints beat Reid and the nearly all-black Eagles.

Urlacher took out Holmgren.

And white-bread Brady's Patriots beat the black MVP-led Chargers.

The only game I had mixed feelings about was the Eagles loss, as I wanted to see a QB controversy in Philly next year. But all in all, IMO the best teams won this weekend from the CF point of view.

Now we get to watch another Indy - Patriots match-up. Could be a great game!

White Shogun, a QB controversy could still happen in Philly next year, do not give up hope so quickly. Reid could decide to draft a QB on day one because McNabb is getting older and coming off that injury he could be Culpepper part deux so Reid will have to have some sort of contingency. Also with the playcalling of the Eagles its obvious Westbrook is the cog in that offense not McNabb so maybe Westbrook will become more vocal and want to be a bigger part of the offense next year because their sucess came with a balanced attack and not with McNabb trying to be a one man show.

No way! How did the Patriots win? Brady was off most of the game, but he smelled blood in the fourth quarter and electrocuted the Lighting Bolts. Totally incredible! And a big thank you to Mr. Head butt! Ha ha ha.

ocaamike, I don't think Kaeding lost that game for the Chargers, there were plenty of bonehead plays to point to instead of that kick. There are too many fumbles, interceptions, and dropped passes by other Chargers to blame Kaeding. But that's what the fans will remember, Kaeding missing a kick that would have taken the game into OT. As I've pointed out on other threads, kickers get cut no slack at all, none.

Leonardfan, I hope you're right. Andy Reid is the coach though, and the caste is strong with that one.

Did anyone catch that goofy , frenzied, maniacal celebration of Merriman early in the game? Was that roid rage?? I'm sooooo glad his team lost. Marty has got to feel like he's jinxed.

yeah, and that was only after a QB hurry... i am glad he had a sh*tty game, he is clearly situational player and not all purpose linebacker and yet somehow people fail to mention it when they describe his sack prowess, speed, strength etc...

The Chargers turned the ball over four times: three fumbles and one INT; and Brady threw three interceptions. I got the impression that there were far more turnovers by the Chargers than that, but four turnovers in a divisional playoff game is four too many.

Here is a pic of the slow, unathletic, Pats lineman who was responsible for containing Merriman all day:

LT's little tantrum after the final whistle was delicious! he couldn't help but chimp-out! but then the best is when he comes on the post-game press conference and affirms his classiness! ha!

I missed the post-game press conference, crucible. Give us a synopsis of what LT had to say.

Oh he just moaned about some of the patriots doing the "light's out" dance. But before he moaned, he reminded everyone that he's a classy guy!

Oh yeah, he also insuated that Bill Belichick has no class.

Then Primetime Deion, on NFL Gameday totally tries to cover for him, Deion says "LT's angry because maybe he wanted the ball more or maybe he's upset with the River's interception."
