I found that clicking on the little blue gizmo in front of the topic heading takes you to the first new post. Also, clicking on a similar icon that is located all the way to the right and after where it indicates who authored the last post brings you to the last post in the thread.

Don, my animated avatar won't animate. Any info on the sites ability to have animated avatars? It'll be a sad day if I have to retire my badass bear.

Are PMs not functioning?
I sent a message earlier today. I don't know if the recipient has checked his inbox yet, but it's not showing up in my "outbox" (now called 'sent messages').

I have received messages and sent them though they aren't showing up as sent.

I believe the default setting is to not save a copy of your sent messages. If you go to "My Settings" and then "General Settings" you'll see the option to save a copy of your sent messages in the sent items folder. Click on that and you should be good to go.

Same concern for me and my animated avatar, GWTJ. If it doesn't work it isn't the end of the world, but I too would like to know if animated avatars will eventually work on the new board.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, the avatar issue is still being worked on.

Sounds good, Don! Colonel_Reb and the little woman are finishing our move later this week and will be off the grid for a week or two until we get our new place online.

I'm back. I've been busy with work, but have finally reregistered. Don, I think some folks haven't gotten around to going through their e-mails yet or have been too busy like me. The new board format looks splendid, I'm just hoping to see the few team forums that aren't there yet like Tennesse Titans back in the works and the old articles back like mine and JC's classics!

Good call on the Titans. The Redskins, Bucs, and CFL are missing also. Just notified the tech.

BTW TJR, speaking of not going through e-mails, are you going to be back in the Lambert League this year? I've sent out three e-mails to all the league owners and have yet to hear back from you and DWFan.

Glad to see all the formatting options installed now, and the plethora of new emotocons! :deadhorse:This is a cool one! I do miss the Bevis and Butthead one, and the generously proportioned girl bouncing up and down for special occasions, lol!

I definitely want to play but am trying to scrape up the money. I hate this no job situation! If someone approaches you about taking my place before I get back to you, that'll be OK with me.

Yes I'd like to be back in the Lambert League. I did notice a Lambert e-mail last night, but I didn't know it was for the new league year yet. Is it still 10 dollars or is it more this year?

Yes, it's 10 bucks. Pay attention to your emails will ya.

Looks like all 16 owners are back, which is great. There are two openings in the Riggins League, I'll start a separate thread for that soon.

I'm not a big fan of the Riggins league. I prefer the independent defensive players and the fact that you keep your players from year to year. Not to mention the fact that I had a crappy year in the Riggins league.

Damn Carson Palmer! It looks like I'll have to look for another starting quarterback this season.

Just noticed that those aforementioned forums are under the St. Louis Rams' forum in the sub-forums at the top of the page.

Those teams are in the doghouse until they shape up! Maybe the Tennessee Titans' could be taken out soon if they get rid of VY (and also based on their past Draft), and be replaced by Pittsburgh..

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the new board. I'm wondering though why posting has fallen so dramatically since the switchover. The number of daily posts thus far is about one-fifth what it was on the previous board.

Don, it seems the posts are picking up a bit! Are they?

Thanks, for all you've done!

Posting has picked up considerably to around 100 per day over the past week, but today is slow so far. We were averaging about 150 a day on the old board, though it fluctuated quite a bit. Seems like most of the posters are back now.

It's all because of my link bomb! LOL, in all seriousness only a few of us did it but hopefully the next one we will get some more participation and really send some shock waves through cyberspace. I think we still have some people that were posting regularly before the change who have yet to come back, but I think the last few stragglers will be back soon.
