I think they will take a RB in the early rounds, but I don't know who.

Scouts Inc's latest mock has the Panthers taking DE Derrick Harvey. Mel Kiper projects them taking OT Ryan Clady. This is shaping up to be the blackest first round ever. Here's Kiper's latest:

Realistically the first round locks who are white are:

Chris Long DE Virginia

Matt Ryan QB Boston College

Jake Long OT Michigan

Potential first rounders who are white:

Dan Connor LB Penn State

Brian Brohm QB Louisville

Long Shot first rounders who are white:

Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State

Tom Zbikowski S Notre Dame

Sam Baker OT USC

I don't see any chance at anyone else making it into the first round unless some team trades up into the end of the first round for Flacco or Henne, which I think is highly unlikely at this point. Nelson is the only White who really has momentum going in the right direction. I'd say he is a lock to be taken in the 2nd if not at the end of the 1st. Baker has been sliding of late and went from a top 15 prospect at the end of the season to a second rounder. There are always guys like this that end up being called steals later on in their careers because clearly his on field production was right up there with the top guys, but for whatever reason his workouts were considered lacking. Zbikowski is a guy who doesn't grade out as a first rounder, but I could see someone grabbing him late in the first if they really like him. I don't think him being taken in the back end of the first would surprise anyone. Steltz just hasn't had the momentum needed to get him into the first and Carlson is probably the only other white who possibly could have gone, but he needed to run better.

Sure, Dan Connor might go in Barrett Ruud "territory" -- which is very early 2nd Round.

The first day of the Draft will be dark as usual, but Kiper's mock drafts are usually quite off the mark. I don't think this draft will be as bad as the 2002 Draft.

It will be interesting to see if OT Gosder Cherilus is a 1st or 2nd Round pick. He reminds me of overrated Marcus McNeil.

Jake Long "shouldn't" be the only White O-Lineman taken in the 1st Round, but regardless of that outcome, some teams are going to get very good Whites in the 2nd through 6th Rounds. A couple of White QB's should also be taken in the 2nd Round, but we'll see.

I didn't follow every detail of some recent Draft classes, but you can't get much worse than the first day of the 2002 Draft.

Regarding the '02 Draft, I see only "9" Whites drafted in the first two rounds. That "combined" 2 Round "total" has to be among the lowest, if not the lowest number (of Whites) to be taken at the completion of the 2nd Round, EVER.

1st

David Carr
Joey Harrington
Jeremy Shockey
Marc Colombo
Patrick Ramsey

2nd

OT Mike Pearson
TE Doug Jolley
Sfty Jon McGraw
DE Ryan Denney

Former Bengals LB Odell Thurman, recently signed by the Panthers, has been suspended yet again for drug use. Let me be the first to say "HAHAHA."

Looks like my fellow PSU alums, Dan Connor and Tim Shaw, may have a better chance at a starting spot in the coming seasons. Thurman is a typical NFL thug, hopefully we never hear about this bum again after this most recent suspension.

What a complete and total loser Thurman is. I was reading a fantasy site yesterday and the owner was wailing over the recent hit and run involving Marshawn Lynch's vehicle. "But I just interviewed Marshawn as the cover story for this year's fantasy magazine and I read people well and I can assure you that after spending an hour with Marshawn he would never do anything like that."

Idiot, anyone, even the most hardcore of criminals, can sit for an hour and be cordial and display their "charisma" and "room brightening smile."Of courseit takes far less than an hour, usually about a minute or two, for whites to become hopelessly smitten with blacks.

Why bother with criminal investigations and a trials. We could just get this guy to sit in a room and chat to suspects for an hour and then announce his verdict.

All they have to do is smile that wide toothy smile and say things like "I feel ya" and "made a mistake" and blame it on his posse and it's all better now. White people get played so easily.
