No, don't get your hopes up. The reason the crowd was pro Pac was because the joint was loaded with Philipinos.

The worst thing about last night was that I wasted an entire evening messing with junk streams trying to watch some boring trash hyped up fight between two little shrimps that I wasn't even interested in in the first place.

Same here. The only reason I "watched" was the miniscule chance that Manny would win. I predicted a Floyd UD and Manny actually did better than I thought he would.

I too regret having watched it.

My better judgment told me to go to bed after the Lomachenko fight (I had to get up very early on Sunday morning to do something important). I thought the "main event" would very likely be not worth seeing, because Mayweather would be given a decision win, even if he doesn't deserve it.

But like the above poster, I thought there was a tiny chance Manny might stop the woman-beater.

Pretty much all Mayweather did during the fight was RUN. Pacquiao was unable to break through his defense but should have been awarded more rounds for at least trying to make a fight of it.

Yet notice the huge disconnect between how the media portrays him and his level of support from the crowd at this event. The crowd at this event were vociferous in their support for Manny and just as vociferous in their disapproval and dislike of Mayweather. It was very palpable.

Remember, this was an event that was held in Amerika, where Mayweather was born, against an opponent from a foreign country...and probably 95% of the people in the crowd were rooting adamantly for the foreigner. I'm hoping this is a further indication of "negro-fatigue".

Yes, I noticed the exact same thing. I watched the fight with some Filipino friends at a British pub in Banff, Canada. The patrons were mainly British or Australian guys and it literally seemed like every single person in the pub was supporting Manny.

I think Floyds only fans are other black Americans and hardcore wiggers/ Jewish supremacists.

It truly is bizarre that Floyd managed to out throw Manny.

Manny needed to let his hands go more and use volume punching as his game plan.

Could of, should of, would of.

I'd like to see Mayweather VS GGG, but doubt it gets made.

[h=1]Pacquiao disappointed in Nevada Commission[/h] Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao has accused the Nevada State Athletic Commission of sabotaging his fight against Floyd Mayweather. According to a report with video on Rappler.com, Pacquiao told reporters in his hotel room Sunday that not only was he “sabotaged” when the NSAC wouldn’t allow him to take a USADA-approved injection to relieve pain from an injury in his right shoulder, he stated that his vitamin supplements and water were withheld by the Commission from his dressing room. Pacman also suggested Mayweather was tipped off about his injury and Floyd tried to take advantage by pulling his arm during the bout. Pacquiao estimated that he was only at 60% for the fight and wants a rematch at full strength.

I believe him. Las Vegas is the most corrupt city in the world, founded by organized crime, and its main business is "gam(bl)ing". All us cynics, tho, we figured they'd be going for a rematch - $100 to $10,000 - ka - ching! - one way or another, now didn't we? Hold the rematch in the Philipines, or at least a neutral city.

It must have been a Negro counting the punches.

I saw far more punches from Manny than Floyd, although fewer from Manny than he usually throws.

Even Teddy Atlas said after the fight "you can take those ridiculous punch stats, and throw them in this swimming pool behind me. I KNOW who threw more punches, and I KNOW who landed more." Of course he then explained how Mayweathers punches were the "eye catching" "more flashy" punches.

The greed and marketing of this fight as the fight of the century when it wasn't really better than other top PPV caliber fights or top non PPV fights like Klitschko vs Haye actually reminded me of a long con movie like the Sting. There never has been a compelling fight from two 35+ competitors in the history of boxing. At times Maneee seemed too gassed to do anything but follow Mayweather around the ring like a lost puppy, until he got his energy levels up. Also ever since Mayweather moved up to welterweight he has become the classic stinker. He is basically Hector Camacho with less colorful clothes. IMO the fight played out like I thought it would, Floyd will only fight guys he is 90 percent certain he can beat.

Mayweather-Pacquiao Updates

No official PPV numbers yet, but it’s a given that Saturday night’s Mayweather-Pacquiao fight broke the all-time PPV record.
Online sportsbooks breathed a sigh of relief with Mayweather winning by unanimous decision. A Pacquiao win would have meant big losses. There was heavy wagering on the fight, with Sky Bet reporting that Mayweather-Pacquiao was the most popular non-horse racing sports event in its history.
Floyd Mayweather reportedly received one million dollar endorsement deals from Burger King, fantasy sports site FanDuel, and luxury watchmaker Hublot, according to fortune.com.
Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen says in his opinion Pacquiao scored a shutout win over Mayweather. “Mayweather only won the fight because it was staged on U.S. soil and scored by U.S. judges,â€￾ Hun is quoted as saying in the Cambodia Daily. “I didn’t expect that American judges would be so weak. I just know America clearly now. Judges made a unanimous decision to make a winner become a loser…fighting on their land, they would not allow us to win unless Floyd was beaten to death.â€￾ He added that he had wagered $5,000 on Pacquiao, but will not pay up."

Just saw this picture online. Sums up the "fight" perfectly:

Ha ha, funny picture. It's odd that that picture didn't show up at all on my laptop but it does on my tablet.

ESPN's new pound for pound rankings have Mayweather and Pacquiau number 1 and 2. I don't know much about boxing, but I watched that fight, and if those are the 2 best p4p fighters in the world, then boxing is dead.

Whenever I hear about "pound for pound rankings" I get angry. "Pound for pound" rankings were invented as a space filler in Harry Fleischer's Ring magazine, as if the giant font and pictures didn't waste enough space. It is nothing more than some jerk's list of his favorite fighters, almost always little guys who are non-white.

This bookie website already has the rematch listed for Dec. 31st and the odds 4 1/2 to 1 in favor of the little Las Vegas anthropoid. It says 12/31 2016 but maybe they meant 2015. Do they know something we don't know? I can't wait for this great event, and I will be perfectly willing to pay the same amount I paid to see the first one to see this one, that is nothing at all.
