alrighty then yeah that weight would probly be ideal..i just didnt know if u were playing rb or anything were the speed loss would be killer..in that case probly just make sure you eat a TON along with the lifting and take a supplement or 2 for your workouts like creatine, caffiene beforehand etc..oh and don't overdo the cardio cuz u might end up losing muscle

This year, I'm aiming to train along the lines of an MMA fighter/triathlete. Not for competition(s) sake, but for overall physical fitness/health. Currently, my weight has been fluctuation from 285-296 or so. My goal is to cut down to 265, then 250, then 240...down to 225 by summer (which will be tough with my large 6'8 frame and slower metabolism).

In addition to training in the gym (weights, cardio, etc.), I supplement that with training on the heavy & upright punching bags, doing sprints, jumping rope and mountain hikes. Eventually, I aim to get back into BJJ or MT sometime this year and swim and/or play hoops during the spring through summer. I'm motivated by the work ethic and training of guys like Sean Sherk (sans the juice) and Randy Couture.BTW, all this is my wife and kids...and someday/hopefully my grandkids!
