Any thoughts on the most notorious DWF fan bases (?)
I know SEC football has a lot of (otherwise) stand-up, traditional White Southerners in their DWF ranks.
I remember when the Raiders were still good, and simultaneously trail-blazers in die-versity hiring, they had a lot of obnoxious wigger fans who bought into the Raiders' bad-boy/outlaw brand..

other thoughts..?

New York, D.C., Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Chicago come to mind as passionately hating White athletes and adoring black ones as much or more than other cities, but they're all bad. I'd call Denver the best of a bad bunch as the DWFs there seem more accepting of White WRs and RBs than other cities and less prone to automatically dismissing them as "inferior."

Pittsburgh,.. yeah. I remember back in the 90s, when Greg Lloyd was given a (virtual) pass for his, "Real Men are Black" shirt @ practice. He was entitled to his opinion, but it's hard to understand why legions of DWFs would glorify a guy who looks down on them (?)

On the flip side, I remember Boston being a really racially conscious White fan base back in the day.. I dont know if that exists too much anymore (?).. Sox & Celtics are deeply integrated now.
I had a co-worker about a decade back, nice older Black lady, (New England native).. who went on a rant about how since the Celtics had gone Black during the 90s.. they sucked :playball:

Same reasons blacks think Lincoln thought highly of them, they're ****ing stupid.

Pittsburgh definitely leads the pack when it comes to DWF's as do most SEC teams in college football. The fanbase where I live in Miami is somewhat of an anomaly. A lot of the younger (white) Cubans (which I am part white Cuban) are definitely DWF's where as the older generations are definitely more racially aware and therefore less prone to DWFandom. The Dolphins, Hurricanes, and Heat fans are definitely DWF's even despite thugs like Chad Johnson and Brandon Marshall not being popular down here. I try to engage with those fanbases as little as possible though. I still root for the Dolphins and hope they get whiter in the future but I despise the Heat and Thug U. My main team down here is the Florida Panthers and despite what a lot of people think, have a pretty good, knowledgeable, and growing fanbase.

For me, the Steelers, Jets, Ravens, Eagles, Seahawks, Redskins, and Bears have the most repulsive fan-bases...but as you mentioned, all 32 teams feature an uncountable assortment of pathetic, face-painted, jersey-sporting, nacho-stained, socially-comatose DWFs. Being from Pennsylvania, I can attest to the odious, vile, enduringly-inebriated, Casteon nature of Steelers/Eagles fans. I’ve actually seen grown “men” with Steelers/Eagles tattoos, guys who paint their faces to watch the “big game” from their own living rooms, guys who would fight someone for speaking ill of “their” team, guys with basements/garages filled with Steelers/Eagles memorabilia (complete with framed Lynn Swann, Jerome Bettis, Hines Ward, Randall Cunningham, and Donovan McNabb posters), guys who dress their newborn babies in miniature replica jerseys (black players, of course) and clothing that reads “Future Steeler Fan,” etc. Keep in mind that I don’t even live anywhere near Pittsburgh/Philadelphia, where I’m sure the inexplicable “pride” in both Black Nationalist Corporations is all the more nauseating…

That said, I always found it interesting that there are NFL teams that have been heavily Africanized for many years (Jaguars, Saints, Bengals, Cardinals, 49ers) that don’t seem to feature a gross of immature, zealous, rabid DWF’s.

Thanks for sharing. Since I was only 9-10 years old when Lloyd wore this despicably anti-white shirt, I hadn’t heard about this incident until your post.

From an LA Times article, circa 1996…

No one is safe around Lloyd. A year ago he did a radio show twice a week, and when a woman called taking issue with one of his sideline tantrums, he told her, "Hey lady, kiss my . . . . What the . . . does that have to do with playing? What are you trying to tell me, I'm a great ballplayer until I do something that you don't like?"
His "Real Men Are Black" T-shirt has stirred controversy in the past, but Lloyd couldn't care less.

"When you play football for 60 minutes the way I do, you don't have to answer to anybody," Lloyd has said of himself.

I wonder how Bill “White Chocolate” Cowher and Lloyd’s white teammates (all 10 of them) reacted to such a vile, bigoted shirt? Of course, instead of receiving the “Pariah Against the World,” John Rocker-style treatment from the NewzJewz, I’m sure this incident was “laughed off” and forgotten…because, after all, the message featured on the shirt is “true” in their maggot-infested minds. Lloyd was an analyst with ESPN after retirement.

'nacho-stained' :hail:

this is a great summation.. & I dig your DWF montages.

Help me out (Thrashen or anybody), how do you get the photos pasted into your posts (?) I tried uploading an image and it only seemed to only allow me to insert it as an attachment..

I have to defend the Hogettes tho (hear me out). When they first starting showing up @ Redskins games, they were cheering for a virtually all-White O-Line, a White QB (Theismann), and a White runner, in Riggins.. but like u said, now they look like old trannys, just pulling for another quotablack & crew. (peace)

Great post as usual Thrashen.

These Raven's fans probably pride themselves as "tough guys". Hardcore fans, prideful ticket holders who never miss a home game, while cheering loudly for their fellow "warriors" on the field. Blue collar guys who nobly spend their meager earnings supporting "their" team. "Real men" not afraid to come to fisticuffs with opposing fans supporting the rival squad. They are undoubtedly proud of themselves and consider their "super-fandom" a crowning achievement in their life. They simply look gay to me.

The beads and jewelry.
The feathers.
The stuffed animals.
The foolish head-gear.
The elaborate face painting.

I think a lobotomy would be an IQ boost for these dullards.

I thought I might expand on that a little bit. SEC fans are a weird bunch. They cheer for the darkest teams in bigtime college football, yet might be the fans that take the most realistic outlook as to what they are watching. Some observations:

1) I can't count the number of times I've heard variations of the boast "Our n-words are going to destroy yours on Saturday." Or "Coach ____ needs to get a handle on his n-words/thugs/animals, etc..."

2) They flip out when a white player or two are signed, only to utterly embrace said players when they become stars, after initially trashing them (the "quick, but not fast" David Pollack being a great example). Those players MUST become stars, though. Above average isn't good enough (the "quick, but not fast" Zac Rogers being an example).

3) They will also go out of their way to over-praise the one decent black QB their school might have had, just to show their New South bona fides. They will also groan in private when their team signs a black QB. The same DWFs will post on message boards about this player's "ability to make plays with his feet".

4) They are the fans most likely to watch white high school teams on Friday night destroying black teams, and see nothing weird about the coal black display on Saturday.

5) They are what keeps rivals and scout in business, yet their teams often have overlooked white walkons starting. I had a DWF once ask me "Why should we give scholarships to good white players when we can get them to walk on anyway?" I'm not usually at a loss for words, but he had me.

Oh, and count me as another reader who was starting to miss Thrashen's epic posts. That was awesome, but those pictures could give me nightmares.

Please pardon my ignorance on the subject of the NFL, but could any of You lads enlighten me as to when all of this garish face-painting and dress-up buffoonery first began to creep into American "fan culture"?

Growing up watching European soccer, I was mercifully never exposed to such childish idiocy. Fans would wear combinations of scarves, replica shirts or - in Britain up to the second half of the 1980s - the occasional good old club flat cap. Apart from flags and banners, the only "props" tended to be large, inflated bananas which served to add an emphatic visual dimension to the healthy, widespread abuse of Negro players - or, of course, real bananas to pelt the aforementioned black undesirables with.

Face painting and "dress-up" thankfully remain almost entirely absent from European club games but are becoming increasingly visible at international fixtures, particularly at major tournaments such as the European Championship finals.

The higher incidence of people wearing outlandish gear and mug paint at international tournaments is a function of the popularity of such "gala" events among the wider, non-core supporter community. Many people (perhaps even the majority...) wish to attend such matches because:

(a) it is trendy to do so, and

(b) to experience the "festival" atmosphere

more than the football itself.

To use Poland as an example, the authorities do their utmost to "discourage" genuine football fans from attending internationals, fearing "hooliganism". Last year's European Championship was virtually devoid of hard-core Polish fans. Instead, we had the following types turning up to matches, complete with paint, jesters' hats and all manner of cheap, tawdry gimmickry:

Such party oafs are preferred to real fans, who generate a true football atmosphere:

I'm not an accredited DWF historian, so someone correct me if I'm wrong..
but my first personal memories of the drag shows & costume balls start in the early 80s.. The 'Skins had the Hogettes & a (DBF)Black Indian, who were staples at RFK. The Cowboys had a Black Cowboy in the 70s (I think), but he & the Skins' Indian were probably pioneering anamolies @ that time.

I remember, Cleveland had a full-on DWF 'dawg pound' by the mid 80s, which was an end zone filled w/half-retarded White guys chewing on dog bones.. The Raiders' Black Hole (for me) is still the quintessential example of DWF buffoonery.. not sure when they got started

I'm too young to attest to football fans during the mid 70s, but watching old highlights I think that may have been when ppl started showing up for cold-weather games shirtless wearing a messily painted letter from PACKERS or BILLS on their chest (?)

their modern day descendants..

still the standard, by which all other DWFs are measured.. costumed morons cheering for the franchise that prided itself on die-versity hires. it is what it is y'know.

Average American -

Thanks for the reply, mate.

Although the Super Bowl has been screened live in Australia for as long as I can remember (hell knows why, as nobody besides a few American ex-pats and a handful of Australian enthusiasts evince an interest in the sport - :icon_idea: hang on, hang on, I know why it's shown worldwide... :icon_idea: :icon_wink:) I have only ever watched two of the games. I never could stand the sight of Negroes...

But being a curious kid, I wanted to see what all of the NFL hype ("the world's finest athletes", et cetera) was actually about, so I recall watching Super Bowl XVI (San Francisco 49ers vs Cincinnati Bengals) and XVII (Washington Redskins vs Miami Dolphins). Unsurprisingly, I was thoroughly appalled by the Negro count, which was still obviously much lower than it is today, so I can only imagine the revulsion You boys must feel now...

I didn't experience any "DWF" culture first-hand until I went to university and encountered certain American students. That was an eye-opener and a half. Mind You, the great majority of Americans were likeable, perfectly "normal" people who tended to be far more polite than our locals. With some of the Southerners, I could even use the big bad N-word in private conversation without causing the usual controversial stir.

One particular American bloke I knew could have featured on the cover of a DWF How-To manual - apart from the fact that he didn't touch alcohol, that is. But this genetic dumpster certainly didn't require alcohol to make a fool of himself for he possessed prodigious "natural talent" in that area...

With the salient exception of boozing, this fellow effortlessly perpetuated every conceivable negative stereotype of the "iconic" lard-arsed US couch-potato sports fan: loud, tactless mouth puffing out vegetation-wilting halitosis; freakishly misshapen, sweat-drenched, porcine physique complete with classic hirsute pot belly and sickeningly jiggling tits; a prematurely receding hairline atop a frighteningly empty cranium; comically mismatched, slogan-emblazoned "clothing" accentuated by a bright, ever-present baseball cap; beaming pride in ripping off ear-splitting, underpants-ruining farts which would literally have people gagging and rushing towards the door (seriously...); reading sports magazines while noisily straining on the piss-stained crapper; all topped off with adamantine addictions to the NFL, NBA, junk food, inter-racial porn, phone-sex line masturbation, and dirt-cheap whores. Yes, this grotty monstrosity was - and, if he hasn't succumbed to some nasty "social disease", doubtlessly remains - a marketing guru's pop-in-the-pyjamas dream...

By the way, my only exposure to the NBA occurred via American students, who'd sit around a TV raucously watching extended highlights packages which were broadcast in Australia during the "basketball boom" of the early 1990s. All Negroes aside, from a strictly sporting viewpoint I found it unbearable as any form of defence always appeared to result in some sort of foul. The over-the-top game commentary was even worse, with annoying voices constantly shrieking "Yeeeaaahhhhh!" and lovingly referring to players by an assortment of outlandish nicknames like "The Mailman", "The Admiral", and the ****ing "Human Highlight". That last one was - inadvertently - quite humorous, simply because it was so bloody ironic :icon_lol:. Funnily enough, I never lasted for more than fifteen or twenty minutes before vacating the premises in disgust...

The NBA commentary was right on par with that of an MLS game I saw brief highlights of in perhaps the first or second season of the competition (1996-1997). A goalkeeper saved a penalty and the commentator instantly went nuts, screaming "Yeeeaaaahhh! He's saved the penalty kick! Now thaaattt's big tiiiimmme!" I just sat there grimacing and shaking my head while quickly lowering the volume on the remote control...

Seattle's 12th man asserts itself as one of contemporary America's strongest DWF fan-bases. USA Today reported yesterday, Russell Wilson had the best selling jersey of the 2014-15 season (followed by P. Manning).

As an aside, I wanted to comment on a DWF subset, that I'm kind of ambivalent about.. What I refer to as the 'Love it, or Leave it DWF'. Guys who are basically down-to-Earth, highly patriotic, hard-working 'Muricans. Under most conditions, I would like and bond with. But for whatever reason, they never scrutinize the unfair caste system (and the traditionally un-American, cultural Marxist messaging) that now permeates pro sports. Which is really counter to their otherwise meritocratic American worldview (?)

I actually went to a few Ravens home games back in 2000. A buddy from work's Father in law had season tickets. The DWF 4th from the left actually hands out autographed cards like baseball cards of himself when people get their picture taken with him lol.
