I agree what he needs is another championship.Jokic is a sure fire hall of famer. I don’t care about the MVP. He already has 3. They like to spread them around.

This is more a reflection of the eras than anything else. In 1998, Jordan's 28.7 ppg was the highest in the league and the Bulls were 69-13. I'm sure you could build a similar image to imply that Russell Westbrook's MVP season was better than any of Bird's in the 80s.
Fair points…Who is your vote for 2025 NBA MVP?This is more a reflection of the eras than anything else. In 1998, Jordan's 28.7 ppg was the highest in the league and the Bulls were 69-13. SGA will win the award for the reasons I mentioned earlier, but Jokic is clearly the best player in the league. In all fairness, both Jordan and Lebron have been victims of "voter fatigue" in the past - see Derrick Rose's 2011 MVP and Karl Malone's 1997 MVP.Fair points…Who is your vote for 2025 NBA MVP?
Jokic robbed again of the MVP award.
Honestly, I believe this is racism.
Uh, I think it's worth noting that Bird has 6 top 2 finishes whom I have in my top 3 all time players!Voter fatigue is a thing; it gets boring if you just give it the same guy every year. It's probably better to look at top 2 finishes.
Looking at Jokic vs some of the more famous NBA players, and how many times they finished top 2 in MVP voting:
LeBron - 8 (06, 09, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18, 20)
Jordan - 8 (87, 88, 89, 91, 92, 96, 97, 98)
Kareem - 7 (71, 72, 73, 74, 76, 77, 80)
Jokic - 5 (21, 22, 23, 24, 25)
Magic - 5 (85, 87, 89, 90, 91)
Durant - 4 (10, 12, 13, 14)
Shaq - 3 (95, 00, 05)
Giannis - 2 (19, 20)
Curry - 2 (15,16)
Kobe - 2 (08, 09)
Kyrie - 0
Rodman - 0
