Nikola Jokic 2021,2022 & 2024 NBA MVP

Shocked thought it was Luka's!
It should have been Luka, and I’m as big a fan of Jokic as there is.

But the Mavericks are a weak team that has Luka and Irving - and Irving is hit or miss. Great or largely invisible depending on the night.

Luka did more with less than Joker and this year should have been his. He became a very good defender this year, his one “weakness” and his offense was better than ever. I’m fearful Luka will never win because you know there are several blacks the media will elevate over Luka.

The best white players of the last thirty years have largely been from outside the US.

Makes perfect sense, right?

To be honest we all know that Nikola Jokic was robbed of the three peat for NBA MVP last year. It should have been 4 in a row but the
league just can't have a white guy dominate like that. Even now they are in panic mode! Gotta love seeing the cream rise to the top!

I do wish we had more speedy high profile dunking white that was dominating the NBA, would really show those DWF's the horror that is the caste system

Most of the high flying white dunkers similar to Mac McClung never get drafted no matter how good they are. The few that do end up
mostly coming off the bench and not being allowed to be a star(Think Christian Braun) and many others.

Or have to go overseas to have a career and make $$ like Jimmer Fredette. Knock on him was the "defense" thing, like all of the starting black shooting guards are all lockdown defenders.

They tried to bury Reddick as well, but he persevered.

Now let's hope Denver can extend this series while in Minneapolis down 0-2!

Yeah, JJ worked hard on his game and really did become a lockdown defender. That was to only way for him to stay in the league. Made a nice career out of it, kudos to him.

I too would have liked to see Luka get his first MVP but this one was owed to Jokic after last years theft. With 3, Jokic is now 1 behind LeBron on the active players list. He moves ahead of Curry and Giannis who have 2 each. I’d love to see him tie the media’s favorite James (who they falsely proclaim is the greatest ever). At only 29 years old, The Joker should have a few more chances before age catches him.

The Worlds Greatest Basketball Player of the last decade and maybe ever. What a night with a career high in points.

Jokić posted HISTORIC numbers for the Nuggets!

56 PTS (career-high)
16 REB
8 AST
3 3PM

He's the first player in NBA history to total 55+ PTS, 15+ REB, 5+ AST and 3+ 3PM in a single game.

After tonight he is the 2nd leading scorer in the NBA at 32.3 points per game. The number 1 rebounder at 13,6 rebounds! Then add in
that Jokic is 2nd in assists in the nba at 10.2. Averaging a TRIPLE DOUBLE FOR THE SEASON!

Can you just imagine if he led the nba in every category at the end of the season? The Greatest Center ever to play the game!

Jokic followed up with another monster game with 48 points, 16 rebs, and 8 AST against the Hawks. Unreal back-to-back games, 104 pts,30 rebs and 16 assists.

Jokic having his best NBA season so far of his illustrious career at age 29. He’s averaging 31.2 ppg (first time over 30 ppg in career), 13.2 rpg (2nd best in his career) and 9.8 apg (tied for best). I’d love to see him get his assists up a little more so he could average a triple double for the first time in his career. Only 2 players in NBA history have ever done it. Russell Westbrook a crazy 4 times! And Oscar Robertson once. Jokic however would be the first big man to do it as both of the others were basically PGs that were really great rebounders for their size.

Nikola Jokic dominated the Kings on Thursday with 35 points (12-of-19 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), 22 rebounds, 17 assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in a 132-123 win.
We’re past the point of absurdity with Jokic. This was the sixth time in his career that he had at least 30 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists, which puts him just one behind Oscar Robertson for second place in NBA history. It was also Jokic’s fifth straight triple-double, and you have to go back to last month to find a game where Jokic didn’t finish within one rebound or one assist of a triple-double. Oh, and he hit a 3/4 court shot to end the third quarter. He’ll look to keep the streak going in Minnesota to close out the week on Saturday.

I agree the guy is just unbelievable. Braun also had over 20 points and a couple really nice dunks. What I’m really suprised about is how well Westbrook has fit in with the team. I thought
Initially he would just launch threes and take minutes away from Braun but it’s been the opposite, he’s playing great team ball. Jokic has brought out the best in both of them.

Jokic is a legend! After that huge game, he’s averaging a triple double. 10.1 assists per game now!

He should have won the NBA MVP 4 years in a row. To win 3 out of 4 is still incredible. No doubt he should win it again this year but you know for sure that the league will build up the other guys to have someone else win it. I hope I'm wrong.

I think he’s a virtual lock if he continues as he is injury free. Averaging a triple double has only been done by two others and he’s leading his team to another high seeded playoff birth.
