Honestly, Geno Smith might’ve played his best NFL game last night…but New England’s defense is so mind-bogglingly putrid that it’s not surprising. Smith didn’t look terrible against the Broncos last week, either, until throwing a late pick-6. The Jets, who’ve played a difficult schedule, usually always play the Patriots tough. Now at 1-6, let’s hope that Rex eats through his stomach staples and is finally canned at season’s end.

It was fantastic to see Amendola returning kicks (he’s much faster than Pat Chung), score that leaping, twisting, go-ahead TD, and recovering that critical onside kick.

It was a big confidence-builder after an unproductive season (how does one produce playing 10 snaps per game?), so let’s hope that Amendola earned himself a larger role in the offense going forward. Brandon LaFell has been surprisingly good of late, which isn’t a negative occurrence, as it could take attention away from our guys. Former 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] rounder, WR Aaron Dobson, was a healthy scratch again. If anyone is in jeopardy of being cut/traded, it’s him.

Edelman and Gronk had OK outings, but with so many 3-and-outs, it’s difficult to get into rhythm. Too bad LB Chris White didn’t play a snap, as former 1[SUP]st[/SUP] round bust, Dont’a Hightower, looked dreadful (as always) in his return to action. Future bust, Jamie Collins, was his usual invisible self. Skinner has speed and can blitz well, but lacks instincts. I remember Chris White during his days as a tackling-machine at Mississippi State. It's seems like he'll only play if one of their black LB's goes down. Reserve safety, Nate Ebner, was getting some defensive snaps in nickel/dime packages before a finger injury kept him out of several games. Kind of strange that he isn't playing through it...

In fairness to George Bush it appears he has been loyal to his wife for many years, or at least not so obviously cheating that it's common knowledge. He didn't get BJ's in the oval office, none that became front page news anyway. I DONT like George Bush but he did join a branch of the military, not bad mouth them, and he did learn to fly jet fighter aircraft.

Whatever drugs he did or didn't do were at a young age like about 95% of people. Clearly he didn't want to join the military but did it anyway, clearly he didn't want to be President but did it anyway, because he felt some duty to country or family, and while I hate the crappy job he did, at least he did it with some decency.

Joe Bidens sons situation is particularly disturbing. This turd is over 40 years old, married with 3 kids, some bigshot lawyer. He was able to get into the Navy at his age through some special program that only the super rich and powerful have access to, and he didn't have to show any special skill, pass any test mental or physical. The only test he had to pass was a drug test. And a 43 year old husband and father, an important lawyer in the community, failed because he is still snorting coke. Geez.

It will be interesting to see if Decker is still considered the number one receiver on the team. For all the noise about Percy Harvin and his superstar potential, in his 5 years in the NFL he has never had a 1,000 yard receiving year and the most TDs he has scored has been 6. Decker, on the other hand, is constantly talked about as if he has no potential yet has had 2 thousand yard seasons as well as two double digit TD seasons in just 4 total seasons.

BTW, I on this site awhile ago I reported that Percy Harvin was a complete headcase (I know - big shocker). I had sources that said that when he was reported to have missed games/practices due to "severe migraines" he was actually checked in to a modern mental hospital in Minnesota. No surprise he was suddenly jettisoned to to the Jets.

i guess humanity has sunken so low that this kind of behavior is all it takes to gain respect? loyal to his wife and only experimented with drugs as a young person and reluctantly fulfilling his duties, even though he did a poor job. all the top quarterbacks entering the week are White, the top receiver in the NFL was a collegiate WALK-ON, a large chunk of the elite defensive players are White, including the un-drafted (and un-recruited by Division I programs) Paul Worrilow.

there is an obvious issue here. either A) the talent evaluation by so-called "experts" is horribly flawed, B) there is an anti-White agenda, or C) both.

Re Jimmy Chitwood's post, the typical, DWF, "politically correct" (ie, fawning to everyone at the expense of White men) response to obvious evidence of anti-White agendas in sports is:

- The White athletes in question are rare exceptions to the rule, and any other White athletes in whatever league being discussed are only there because their Whiteness secured them a position. "White athletes in general suck." Otherwise the league in question would be 100% Black, 100% Mexican, 100% gay, or whatever special interest needs propping up.

- The stats themselves are not actually true, or real. "They got those numbers against weak competition!" "The quarterback is targeting him because they're both White and they're all racist!"

Yes, I'm sure that even though Georgie was scared poopless of being shot down by the third world Vietcong, he would have heroically led the charge over Soviet air space had a "major war" broken out.

He joined the National Guard because it looked good on his resume as a substitute for going to Vietnam, plus Daddy was a WWII hero. The idea was always to avoid military service, at least the kind that involved any kind of danger.

All the "leaders" who have engaged this country in endless war and death and destruction since 9/11 (and usually before as well) were draft dodgers and armchair warriors. Passing legislation forcing the "commander in chief" and any members of his administration and all Congressmen who support undeclared, unnecessary wars to serve six months a year on the front lines would result in an instant return to this country's former wise policy of armed neutrality in foreign affairs.
