Well week 7 starts with our caste favorite's the New England Patriots up against the odious New York Jets. Predicting a big win 34 - 10 for New England, watch Gronk and Minitron destroy the Jets defense. Think Ninko could have a good game too follow up on his 3 sack outing last week.

What do you guys think, must be a New England win surely :)

Awful analysis in the pre game as useful, comparing Smith to Dalton! Marshall Faulk and Willy McGuiness saying the supporting cast is the only reason Dalton looks better than Smith. What a joke i agree Dalton has more talent but Smith is doing nothing with what he has got throwing interceptions every game and looking like a rabbit in headlights, no poise in the pocket at all, terrible quarterback!!

Managed to get a jibe in at Decker, went from being third or fourth at Denver to being the one at Jets, what were they thinking at the Jets coaching staff. Decker was clearly second choice possibly first in some games just terrible lies that no one ever questions so called experts on!!

Sorry for the rant!!

Yeah him and Michael Irvin are idiots, thursday night football analysts are some of the worst, I would almost go as far as to say i would rather listen to Deon Sanders lol! Willy McGuiness is rubbish too.

by the way worth noting that they had three pats on there when Kraft was on talking about the patriot way, all black despite the high number of white players down the years on the patriots lol, Teddy Brushi perhaps or Mike Vrabel not even a token white guy lol.

I just posted this about Faulk and McGinest in the Decker thread before I read this thread:

I was just watching the NFL Network, and both Willie McGinest and Marshall Faulk were whining about how Geno Smith hasn't been given time or the weapons to develop. Faulk contrasted Smith to Andy Dalton, saying Dalton has far better receivers to throw to who were drafted in the first three rounds -- A. J. Green, Sanu, Jones and Gresham. However, Jones has been perpetually injured and only played well for a few games last season, Sanu is an average talent, and Gresham has been a bust at TE. Also, Tyler Eifert (not mentioned by the whiners) has been injured all season. What Dalton did last week to lead his team to 37 points against the Panthers with Green, Jones and Eifert out was outstanding.

Then McGinest and Faulk began complaining about Eric Decker. Faulk claimed he was only the "number three or four receiver" on the Broncos, ignoring the fact that Decker was a top ten receiver for the entire league in both 2012 and 2013. Rich Eisen then unexpectedly but correctly noted that Decker was the number one free agent at his position and that the Jets signed him specifically to help Smith.

McGinest is usually pretty good, but Faulk imo is always all but seething with racial resentment.

Agree completely, great minds think alike Don lol.

Willy McGinest is normally ok but he has been annoying tonight I think he doesn't want to come across like a homer.

I'd like to see Decker have a huge game and shut everybody up.

He'll be defended by "Revis Island" tonight, which makes the matchup doubly intriguing. Hopefully Eric's hamstring is 100% or close to it.

He was limited in practice fingers crossed, dream scenario is Pats win with Amendola actually featuring but Decker coming up big for the Jets in the loss.

Great catch by Decker beating Revis for twenty four yards as he tried to cut the throw for the interception, keep it up son!

I think you are referring to Chris White Krause. I guess Bellichek found some run of the mill black LB to take Mayo's spot.

Whoever the defensive end is on the Patriots, #95, is terrible. He was just pursuing Smith and just fell down for no reason, and Smith ended up running for the first down. He's not bringing much pressure.

The announcers are falling all over themselves praising Smiff. Just waiting for the inevitable collapse.

Phil Simms is rising on my list of announcers who are ass clowns. 1st he wouldn't say Redskins when he was announcing that game. Now he says Smith has played perfect in 1st quarter. What an idiot apparently perfect for him is putting up 6pts!!

Jordan Devey just shoved Antwan Barnes after a late hit. Nantz said Barnes should of been fined and Simms disagreed. Simms is an idiot but you have to wonder if they are working off a script somewhat having to blindly heap praise on Smith.

Even though I want the Patriots to blow the Jets out, it really is good to see Decker catching passes. He now has 4 for 65.

Also good to see Amendola returning kickoffs. At least he's on the field.

I hate to say it, but it looks like Ridley' s injury has hurt the Patriots run game. Vereen just isn't big enough to be the every down back. He goes down too easily on first contact.

Too bad they don't have Gerhart or Hillis. That would solve the problem.
