on the texans website depth chart he is listed as the backup to Mario Williams, guess the other 2 ends, leonard weaver and n.d. kalu must have been hurt. maybe the texans decided to go with Bulman cause he is a strong run defender and they wanted to stop the run with their front 4 i don't know.

Hester had a very nice play, though, on kickoff coverage. He singlehandedly knocked the ball from the clutches of the runner, caught it in mid-air, and secured the ball as he fell to the ground and others piled on.

i am very happy that the only white runningback in the league is doing great on special teams. after all, every single black runningback in the league drafted in 2nd round or below is also going through 3 years of special teams to even get any touches on offense...

Jones, Walter and Gonzalez all had some catches, but none had big games. Mike Walker was Jax's leading receiver, the first time Jones wasn't. But Reggie Williams had zero catches and so did Jerry Porter I believe. Unfortunately Jacksonville has no vertical passing game. There was one long throw to Jones by Garrard, but other than that everything was 5 to 15 yards, typical black quarterback play.


Gonzalez is the third or fourth or fifth receiving option on Indy now that Harrison is healthy (Wayne, Harrison, Clark, Addai). Johnson was force fed the ball and finally had a breakout game, but Walter and Daniels had some receptions for the Texans.

Being how Del Rio treats Jones, he may give Walker his job. David Garrard is just a horrible quarterback and unless Jones goes to another team he's blowing his career. It's funny the Jags use a first round pick on Jones but the almighty Del Rio Likes to mock him.

Yeah, many "superior" RB's look bad this year too. Ryan Grant, Tomlinson, Steven Jackson, etc. I think by next season, ESPN's "Tomlinson Hype Train" will be making it's last stop.

Despite LT being one of the league "nicest" black players (of course, ignoring the insanely racist comments he made about Hester a couple months back), I could really care less if he never plays again....as long as Jacob Hester gets a chance to play, start, and destroy this disgusting caste system.

Tomlinson is 29 and in his 8th season. A running back will start slowing down at this time, especially one who depends on speed and elusiveness.

On Sunday night game, commentators had some nice things to say about Matt Jones, something about turning around his career, and becoming Gerards go to guy. I also liked their telling a nationwide audience that Marcedes Lewis, the Jaguars starting tight end, had dropped about as many passes as he's caught this year. Hmmm, wonder if Jags could find a better tight end then that, like maybe John Madsen before Raiders resigned him today.

Madden and Michaelsalso had some nice things to say about Big Ben's toughness, ripping those who call him a "drama queen." Drama queen??? Ben's about as tough as they come. Black QBs who play hurt achieve legendary status; Ben's called by some a "drama queen."


I'd like to see how long any black QB would last playing behind the Steelers' lousy sumo o-line.
