Well Hillis is half way to 100 with 54 yards on 5 carries in the first quarter. He should easily hit the century mark today.

I'm so excited. The Broncos are the team to watch. The Colts, Texans and a few other teams are enjoyable, but no one can beat Denver with Hillis starting every week. Two 19 yard runs already shows he has good speed to go with his power. This kid can easily run for 100 yards on a weekly basis if they just get him the touches. Like whiteathlete33 said, just get him the ball at least 20 times today and big things will happen.

I'm bummed for Hester and Leonard, but I'm very excited for Hillis. Please let Coach Shanahan see the light and continue to start him the rest of the season and into next year. Go Broncos!

The Broncos issue is the defense, all those affletes on the defensive line make it so easy to run. Hopefully they pick up guys like Mitch King and Matt Kroul in the draft next year to clog up the interior line.

Been watching the Jets-Broncos. Every great run Hillis makes the announcer is quick to comment on the great blocks on the play or the Denver scheme to spread the field so their depleted running game can go. The announcers have so far refused to give Hillis a single compliment but they did manage to mention that he blocked for McFadden in college. I'm seriously getting sick to my stomach listening to these guys.

I was watching the Ravens vs Bengals highlights to check out Leonhard's int and Flacco has probably the strongest arm in the NFL, he can really throw it far and do it effortlessly although all the caste weenies would want everyone to believe its JaMarcus Russell.

just now he gave him a credit for a great run on 3rd and 2, said he is very slippery for such a powerful back (Hillis had a spin and two broken tackles on that run)

"He's a converted fullback" they just said. NO HE IS NOT! He's back at his natural position, RB. He was a converted FB at Arkansas, something he should never have had to endure. I hope Peyton has tried to lose a little weight so he could gain a little quickness as a featured back. He is hurting himself at 250.

I dont agree colonel, 250 seem to be perfect with his body.
He has enough speed to go all the way, and is as powerfull as B.Jacobs.

Hillis just had his THIRD 19 yard run so far. He is destroying the Jets right now. This has been Peyton's best performance so far. Believe it or not, I think the NFL will need to take notice: White men can run!

Touchdown Hillis!

Edit: I should point out, the Jets have the 3rd ranked Defense against the run. What Peyton is doing is REALLY special!Edited by: Sean

If you had seen Peyton as a freshman or sophomore at Arkansas, lumsden, you wouldn't. He is noticeably slower than he used to be, at least to me. He just got a TD though and looked great on that drive!

I just don't want him to be further mis-caste as a "blacking" FB because of his being too big.

wow, 10 carries for 85 yards! breaking tackles leftand right, i am loving it, it is like watching Alstott back in the day! now, if Broncos keep it up he can have a monster day!

also keep in mind that he is playing versus a very stout Jets run defense, ranked 3rd in the NFL. i love what Casey Wiegmann is doing to Kris Jenkins

Yes, the Jets D is good against the run, Peyton is doing great. It is remeniscent of Alstott, only Hillis is getting the carries early, instead of having to wait until 2:00 left in the 4th like Mike used to.

The great thing about this game is that it's nationally televised as well.

It's nationally televised? We're getting the Pitts-NE barn burner down here in Texas.

I'm getting the Pitts-NE game here in Carolina. Good to see Hillis doing well

Hopefully a 100+ yard game against the 3rd ranked run defense will open some eyes.

Ohh I might be wrong on that one.

This is probably the most excited I have been in a long time watching the NFL. Just watching him do well brings a joy to my heart, knowing that so many of our bretheren have been screwed for a very long time.

We are getting the game in my market. I believe the country is pretty evenly divided, between this game and PIT/NE, with a small portion on the West Coast and the the central getting KC/OAK. I just called my friend who lives in Cape Girardeau Missouri and he is getting KC/OAK.
