They are 8-3 without having achieved a "signature win" yet. Minus Peyton Manning, their own division is weak, but they don't have a signature win because they lost to New Orleans, Baltimore and Oakland. They need to beat somebody to become somebody.

I just can't "buy them" yet. Also, Foster and Tate can be tackled.

They beat the Steelers earlier in the season. It has to be said that when they lost to the likes of Oakland their defense although good wasnt firing on all cylinders like it is now.Barwin has found his footing as an OLB and has something like 6 sks in his last 3 games.Watt is also getting more sks and pressures. They will be a hard matchup for any team, though alot depends on how much Yates steps up.

Even in the new gentrified stadium the Philly Boo Birds are merciless. Radio is getting razzed pretty good, too bad it's not winter weather ice balls would raining on the field.....

Rivers hasn't been helped at all today by his wide(nosed) receivers.

One of these days, the NFL will include drops in the box score as an official statistic.

They've been the most dominant team in the AFC, with a strong offense to go with, finally, a good defense, thanks to an infusion of White talent. If they still had Schaub they would be the AFC favorite, along with New England, to go to the Super Bowl. Even now with Yates or whoever at QB they will be a tough team to stop.

What exactly are you "buying" these days?

The ref let that push off/interference on Decker go without comment. Sad.

The Eagles are a joke. It's funny but it seems like they have always played only black quarterbacks for decades now. How many Super Bowls have they won with this method of coaching? The Dream Team is getting creamed! Gronk with the touchdown!

Tell you what, this has been a very good week. We had 2 White starters or semi-starters at tailback (along with Woodhead), and 4 Whites starting at wideout. How long has it been since the last time that happened in the ultra-affirmative action NFL? The Patriots are crushing the Eagles, the Texans won again with Leinart and Yates, Welker and Gronkowski are doing their usual thing as are most of our regulars on offense and defense. Tampa lost again, the last thing I will hope for today is that Pittsburgh native Tyler Palko engineers an upset over the Coal Black Steelers, and that Tebow pulls off another victory lol.

I doubt that Philly changes their MO in regard to black quarterbacks, but miracles never cease!

If we're going to see 'Tebow Time' this week, he's going to need Fox to get out of his way and for the refs to do their jobs.
1st Down, 75 yards to go for Victory.

Will Tebow engineer another fourth quarter comeback today? With a little over five minutes in the game now is the time to do it. The Broncos are only down by a field goal so he has a chance.

Yep, Cooper caught 2 of 3 balls thrown to him and has been forgotten. I guess Celek is ok to use since he is just a White TE instead of a WR.

I was actually going to give AHDIW some props earlier in the game because he was giving Cooper and Celek looks. Seems he only throws to Avant now.

Yes, it's more than a little strange how Cooper -- who was the star last week and had 12 targets and who had a great 58 yard catch in the beginning of this game -- has completely disappeared. Gotta keep the brothers and the Caste System guardians happy.

It's been the Houston offense, supposedly their strongpoint, that has been disappointing. Wade Phillips has improved their defense, and, going back to the preseason, one could see that their defense should be pretty good.

Both Houston/Jacksonville games were close because of a lack of Houston offense. While JAX has a big d-line, their secondary has endured several injuries and should have been exposed. Other than their dismantling of Tampa, Cleveland, a Manning-less Indy, a Tennessee team that you mentioned wasn't playing hard, Houston's offense hasn't dominated opponents.

I would rank Houston, Baltimore and Pittsburgh similarly. All have o-lines that are suspect and pass-rushing defenses that can make plays. Houston is the "new" kid on the block, and they have something to prove.

Radio just threw to Cooper twice and he caught it once. They won't depend on a White player regularly, only go to him as a last resort or as a "surprise" early in the game. A lot of teams do this. They just jerk the Whites around for most of the game.

Houston's o-line has been the best in the league the past two seasons, or at the least comparable to those of the Patriots and Packers as the best. To lump them in with the Steelers and Ravens is way way off.

The Texans have a tremendous offense. When firing on all cylinders, with Foster and Tate in the running game and Johnson, Walter and the three very solid White tight ends, few can compare.

Houston is the relatively White friendliest team in the NFL, along with New England and St. Louis. Too bad the "new" Deadlift has such a difficult time rooting for them.

The pass he didn't catch was over thrown by about 5 yards.

A good coach would throw in some different looks to the option game. The Broncos use only that one play and it's never any different.
