So Hillis is starting today? Another NFL rule is when there is a white running back only give him a maximum of 10 carries a game. Rely on the passing game to get you some points.

The reluctance to use Hillis is hurting the Broncos' passing game. Really pathetic by Shanahan so far.

Agreed Don. Hopefully they will wise up in the second half. Of course they are already in the hole though, so it will be tough.

Broncos fans are saying stuff like "lack of running game is killing us" ... broncos aren't even trying, it's not Hillis's fault. running 4 times in a close game like this doesn't make ANY sense

2 runs and a catchon that TD drive! Hillis is their best weapon, and they better use him if they want to win. Of course, in the Caste NFL, some teams appear at times as if they want to lose rather than start whites at key positions.

Thank you Broncos. Like a previous poster said, they are quickly becoming one of my favorite teams. Cutler is also as good as they come for a young qb.

Peyton Hillis is a beast. I used to watch Spencer Larsen play in college at the University of Arizona. He was a stud then and Denver will love this kid. I hope Peyton can continue to play well and maybe be considered for regular duty down the road.

Brian Finneran getting a bit more involved on that last drive by the Falcons. He and Stokely both have 3 catches each. Let's hope Peyton gets a few carries this drive.

Edit: Nope, it's Pope again to start the drive

Edit again: Hillis gets a 6 yard gain, knocking off a defenders helmet.Edited by: Sean
