So much for the Rams rallying around Haslet and his black magic -- at halftime Jets 40 Rams 0.

Welker has 10 catches with 5 minutes left in the game.

Packers O'line allowed target practice on Rogers, if he wasn't holding the pig a little too long his line practically allowed free passage to the QB. Then it comes down to the kicker, blew it.

Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan continue their phenomenal rookie years, both their teams were expected to be bottom feeders but are 6-3.

Another guy starting to play very well is Tyler Thigpen. Probably not one DWF out of a thousand gave him a chance to be a good starting QB. The Chiefs were smart enough not to sign Culpepper a couple of weeks ago, leaving that masterstroke to the Lions instead.

Whats up with KC having three white defensive players, Boiman, Dacus and Mcgraw having significant playing time. Could Herm Edwards be in a desperate quest to save his job and maybe actually trying to win?

All in all nothing too great from our guys so far. I'm hoping Kevin Curtis can torch the Giants secondary tonight.

It's nice to see Todd Heap have a good game; it seemed as though he'd disappeared altogether.

Backrow is correct about Jon McGraw, nice game!

He's been on the Jets, Lions, and Chiefs since being drafted from Kansas State. Like most white skills players, he's been seriously jerked around during his time in the NFL.

He's a 6' 3" safety (much bigger than the midget blacks who normally started over him) with all the skills and speed. The Cheifs in general are beginning to win my respect. With Dacus, Boiman, McGraw, and an emerging Thigpen, I'm almost happy to see them compete during games.

Also, Welker was uncoverable today, and the annoucers praised him all day. They didnt even use any "caste codes" exclusively reserved for white players. They gave him legit respect. Matt Cassel made some seriously good throws today, and I'm sure his performance this season will earn him a contract elsewhere next season. I wish Cassel all the best.

Bradley was awesome at Nebraska. I'm a big Cornhusker fan, so it was good to see him doing so well now in the NFL.

I get to see Hedgefumes play every week and its a treat. What a beast he is. Even that fat moron Madden said Madison is the best blocking FB.

Stu Bradley is also emerging as a great player.

The hightlight of the game though was Kevin Boss' leap over a "superior athlete".

I saw an incredible stat on ESPN today. Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan have set a new NFL record for the best won-lost record by rookie QBs in their first 9 games. Impressive as that was, that wasn't the incredible stat. Guess whose record they broke? Believe it or not, Kyle Boller had a record of 5-4 in his first 9 NFL starts, which was an all-time record until now. I guess young white QBs don't get the benefit of jock-sniffers crowing about "all he does is win."

wow, bigunreal!

that announcement flies in the face of the "reality" we're indoctrinated with each day via Sportscenter regarding the affletic quarterbacks who are still poised to "change the game."
smiley36.gif

congratulations to young Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan, and may they continue to build upon their early success.

After tonights' Monday Night Football game (a pretty good one, actually) I've decided that my new favorite palyer in the NFL is 49ers defensive end Justin Smith.

He is a tremendous athlete. He frequently drops back into zone coverage, and even tackled Cardinals' RB Tim Hightower in the open field. Mike Tirico even referred to it as a "tremendously athletic play from Smith."

He generates pass rush. Smith was in the face of Kurt Warner many times, causing multiple hurried throws. It's rare you see this type of rush from a 3-4 defensive end, except maybe the Steeler's Aaron Smith. Justin Smith moves very well for his size.

Smith draws double-teams, just like a 3-4 end is supposed to. He keeps the linebackers clear by drawing multiple blockers to himself. Smith is strong, athletic and agile on the line of scrimmage.

I noticed all of this in one game! How could you not want a guy like this on your team? Consider this an ode to my new favorite player.

Every NFL defense should have at least that much, and more, of a White defensive presence.

Don,

Isn't it interesting that they are being killed by a sumo O-line that cannot generate a running game? Only in the Caste NFL.

You are exactly right when you notice the predictable pattern of team operation. As you've pointed out, "if teams have more Whites on offense, they'll have less to almost no Whites on defense. If teams have more Whites on defense, they'll have visibly less Whites on offense."

It's classic, and a testament to the artificialness, that so many teams love shooting themselves in the foot. Over-and-over again. "Winning" sure doesn't seem like the ultimate goal of many of these teams.

Win or lose, fielding a "diverse" squad is the goal.
