Did anyone catch the Atlanta game? Was wondering if Kroy Biermann, Brooks Reed, and Paul Worrilow all started on defense.

Also, does Jacob Tamme appear to be the favorite to start at TE?

Zach Line of the Vikings is another that comes to mind. He is listed as a FB, but is as fast as a halfback.

If it were a fair league, Woodhead, Hillis, Gerhart, Line, Leonard, Burkhead, John Kuhn, and Anthony Sherman would all be starting tailbacks right now. And you could probably add a handful of others that were swept under the rug over the years...

Funny because Robinson and Burelson were both average players who like Don said are AA hires as analysts and football players. Good for Mooney.

Sounds like Petty had a good night for the jets. I hope he continues his steady improvement over the preseason and is groomed behind Fitzpatrick this year.

I'm really hoping Brandon Wehger can have another great game for the Panthers tonight. It would be huge if he could make it into the NFL after his career seemed lost after leaving Iowa, then Oklahoma before resurfacing years later with tiny Morningside.

As it stands, the only White running backs I see as locks to make a squad are Woodhead, Gerhart and Burkhead. Zenner is also likely to stick with someone but 4 is not nearly enough.

Here is a good article on Zach Zenner. Damn this kid is amazing. I would still prefer that he was on another team with a better chance to play but who knows. The Detroil Lions do know that he is a very good rb.

It's still so frustrating the not one team drafted the kid. What a slap in the face. Keep showing them Zach.

White Lightning, read the article. Yet the author had to devolve into caste speak indirectly by referring to Zach to avoid the terms of scrappy, deceptive and high motor associated with White skill players in the NFL. I then looked at the author. Surprise.....NOT.

Tannehill once again is looking sharp against the Panthers. Does anyone STILL think Newton is a better QB than Tannehill?

Looking at the box score of Giants vs Jags..... Gerhert has 5 carries for 15 yds. He's got to do better!
We know he is so capable, but if he doesn't show it soon, he's going to be on the bench.
The leash for a white RB is so so short.

Tyler Gaffney getting carries for NE - 7 for 22yds.
And, by the way, where is Julian Edelman? He didn't play last week either.

I think that is a mistake on the stat tracker - Gaffney was cut by the Pats. Gray is getting carries for them

Wish I could catch that Panthers game good for Wegher! I'm watching the Eagles vs Ravens. It's a blowout Eagles in control. Travis Raciti has flashed for the birds as has Big Brian Mihalik.

How's Bryan Braman doing? Hopefully he can take the starting OLB spot from Brandon Graham.
How was Prosinski and Maragos' performance?

Jordan Tripp and Vigil should start at 2 of the LB spots.Instant upgrade for the Dolphins.

I agree. I can't imagine they'll stand pat with Jelani Jenkins, Koa Misi, and Chris McCain...

James Morris just had a FF, great play knocking the ball out from behind.

Morris started and played the entire game; wasn't quite as active as I was hoping, but did make some nice plays here and there.

As for the Saints, Davis Tull finally got in on the action. Only played a handful of snaps and was lined up at DE.
Vinnie Sunseri started at safety and as usual, was all over the field.

Looking at the Viking highlights, looks like Kendricks started the game at MLB; so much for Audie Cole... And yet again, Andrew Sendejo stuck playing 2nd fiddle to friggin Robert Blanton...

On a good note, Ben Heeney is tearing it up again in Oakland; 8tkl, .5sk, FF. They're not going to be able to keep him off the field...

Brandon Wegher with 2 TD's tonight...sCam & Coach Rivera were elated with his performance. Wegher is running the ball like he's on a mission!

Zenner is way too good to be stuck on a practice squad

Jaxon Shipley will be on somebodys 53 man roster

A healthy DE Davis Tull just returned to practice earlier this week...explosive 1st step as already made them take notice.

Beastly Bryan Braman lit a brutha up on the opening kickoff tonight...him with Alonso & Barwin is athletic as it gets at LB!

So I watched the Eagles game at a bar with no sound. I wasn't surprised to see this morning's propaganda on Tim Tebow. NFL.com has the headline "Tebow misses opportunities" while CBSsports has "Tebow misses wide open receiver for score." ESPN on air said that he missed several wide open recievers - which is a lie.

Here's his performance in a nutshell. His first possession at the start of the 4th quarter ended with a running back fumble. After that they ran from the read option most of the time and had success. Tebow ran for 31 yards including a 26 yard scamper and a short run for a TD. Inexplicable the TD was turnover as they said he was short. I didn't know this until this morning as I and the two others I was watching the game with saw several replays and saw no reason to overturn the call - it was a TD. Reminiscent of Toby Gerhart's phantom fumble upheld by replay.

So the propaganda articles focused on Tebow not throwing to a wide open receiver and choosing to run it in - and failing via replay bad call. He was 2 for 5 with 2 throw-aways and ran for 31 yards with 10 points produced by the offense during his stint.

Freeze it at 35 seconds and tell me that isn't a TD:

LB Nick Dzunabar had a good game last night for San Diego and Josh Mauro made an impact for the Cardinals from what I watched last night.

I also noticed that OLB Brennan Beyer was getting playing time with the first team for the Ravens.
