Ed Reed amazingly lasted nearly an entire quarter before being injured.

Did anyone just see what looked like a cheap forearm or elbow thrown by the criminal at large, Gay Lewis?

Take away Jacoby Jones gift-wrapped fumble and the Texans are up! Sack by JJ Watt! Barwin is an animal!

There may not be a need for the football CF forum if more teams were like the Patriots offense & Texans defense(front 7)...

Yeah Woodhead's stat line could easily read 12-75/4-50 if allowed...he is a threat to break a long-one any time he touches the ball! GRONK gets sicker by the week! Like seeing Edelman playing all over the field! Dane Fletcher needs more PT! Getting the Chase Blackburn treatment!

Like seeing Tommy Z back there as a kick returner! Why is he not a starter w Ed Reed back at safety??

Drew Brees is the real deal! Racist Jason Whitlock wrote a stupid article on him early this week! Jermon Bushrod is over-paid & overated! Justin Smith(should have more Pro-Bowls) owned him! Happy for Alex Smith!

Broncos missed Decker... TE Colby Fleener would be a nice draft choice! What happened to that athletic defense??

Dan Dingleberrydorf didn't want to give Watt any credit for his sack. Several times he's given Wade Phillips sole credit for the turnaround of the Texans defense, except once mentioning the free agent signings of Joseph and another black DB. Glaringly missing from his analyis is any mention of Watt, Reed, a healthy Barwin, and the continuing dominance of Cushing.

All the former White o-linemen and d-linemen who have been hired as announcers and color men are Caste clowns but Dingleberrydorf is always as bad as any of them.

Yates has played well so far. I really think he has the "next Tom Brady" type potential.

I'm so proud of the Texans. Their defense has been all over the field. I call them the snow patrol part II. Watt, Reed, Cushing and many others are causing the Ravens nightmares. They have forced so many 3 & outs including a goal line stand.

Come on Yates, Daniels, and many others. Let's get some points and set up one hell of an afc championship game!

I noticed that too and was also going to post something about it. Dierdork made it seem like Watt was just standing there and Flacco just ran right into him. Like you say, many other instances where Dierdork simply will not give any credit to the White defenders of the Texans, or, at best, just a grudging mention.

And, of course, it's that time of year again to give recognition to the array of Cult Marx participants of the annual "kick, punt, and pass" competition. It looked like there were almost as many girl winners as boys.

There are ;)

I think the boys and girls compete separately.

Yates looks good for a rookie, but if the Texans don't win the difference will be the lack of experience at quarterback due to the injury to Matt Schaub. Houston is a very solid, young team. They have a terrific defensive front seven and a very good offensive line to go with their talent at RB, WR and TE.

Yeah Highlander! It just wouldn't be right letting girls be girls, they have to be just like the boys!

.....and somebody please shut Dierdork up!

I'm not the biggest Flacco fan, but the call was Flacco poise , intelligence, and courage in the pocket, not thinking run if I feel trouble!

Saying Flacco was slippery, no he stayed in the pocket or sidestepped and fired a strike!

The Texans defense has more than done its job and played terrific. The offense has to come thru now and try to force OT.

Jacoby Jones' bonehead play early in the game is the main reason Baltimore has the lead. The Houston defense has played great.

That was silly. Wasn't it first down? You had 2 minutes to go and less than half a field. Why "go deep"? Silly, silly.

Why throw the deep ball with 2 minutes still left??? Bad play calling. . . and once again forcing the ball to Andre Johnson when there are so many other options -- Foster, Walter, the TEs. . .

Ugh, terrible throw by Yates. We can probably stop the Tom Brady comparisons for now. Let's hope the Pats can take care of business next week.

Plus I think they still had 2 timeouts. What were they thinking?

Jacoby Jones, shanked FG in the wind, and the rookie QB making a couple poor decisions is the difference. Texans D played outstanding, other than some bad play by the secondary as well. Front 7 played unbelievably good, really outplayed the Raven's vaunted defense.
