Let's get this thread back on topic.

Seems Packers new regime is now doing it's best to alienate Aaron Rodgers. They seem hellbent on forcing him out and replacing him with a very average and turnover prone College QB.

Never thought Brady would leave New England.. Perhaps Rodgers follows a similar path.

Rodgers would be an ideal replacement for Brady in Tampa if the timing works out.

Being from Wisconsin, the Packers new regime has been systematically eradicating the white presence from their ranks over the past few years. When they do draft a white, such as LB Ty Summers, they misuse. He is their most athletic linebacker by a long shot... yet they relegate him to special teams.

They have cut Rogers’ receivers such a Nelson (who I think would still be playing if not cut by GB) and other white players.

The Houston Police Department has opened an investigation on Deshaun Watson.
In addition to the 20 civil lawsuits, a Jane Doe has officially filed a police report on Watson. This allows the police department to investigate the allegations and provides some clarity to Watson's attorney. Both the investigation and the civil disputes are expected to drag out, and the NFL can suspend Watson without a guilty charge or plead. Those in the NFL don't expect Watson to be traded by the NFL Draft, but that's obviously a secondary concern for Watson and his alleged victims. The Houston Police Department said they will not comment on the investigation.

There's been zero interest by any team in signing free agent Rex Burkhead so far. If his NFL career continues the most likely scenario will be that he once again signs with New England for the league minimum for veterans.

Rex is progressing well from his knee injury according to several reports such as this one:

Free agent running back Rex Burkhead posts encouraging update from his recovery

The Steelers have so many needs in the upcoming draft that Robert Spillane may be able to keep his starting job this season. He'll have to be really good however as the DWFs and local media are almost as hostile towards him as they were to Tyler Matakevich, despite having a great OLB on the team in T. J. Watt:

Sam Darnold traded to the Panthers.......
Seems like good news to me. The Jets are virtually guaranteed to select a quarterback with the 2nd overall pick, so it's not like Darnold would have started for them anyway. And if he's going to be traded, wouldn't you prefer he land on a team where he has a chance at displacing a black starter? (And of all such teams, Carolina is probably the best, since McCaffrey will now have a competent signal caller behind center.)

Darnold and CMC together sounds good. I do not like Rhule at all though. Darnold should be a much better fit then Bridgewater in Joe Brady's offense. Jets did a lousy job with Darnold and set him up for failure - Gase was a pure dolt much like Rodent Nagy destroyed Trubisky's career. Darnold is still only 23 years old though. Panthers need to get better and brighter in this draft though especially on the OL.

It's nice to see the Panthers move on from St. Teddy after a 1 year trial which ended as a failure. Last year the Panthers were being lauded as big winners for landing Bridgewater and was viewed as a franchise QB. This is probably the only site on the internet that has openly questioned Bridgewater's ability since the Vikings drafted him back in 2014.

As for the Jets - if they draft Wilson they better have the infrastructure in place around him to coach him up as well as offensive talent. The Jets roster is one of the worst in the league on offense - garbage OL, no WRs outside of Berrios and a huge hole at TE. They are a prime example of rigid adherence to the caste system leading to perennial failure.

I love this move by Carolina. I think the Jets abandoned the ship way too soon on Sam Darnold. I think he is a quality starter and he can beat you with his arm or legs. I feel so bad for Cmac being stuck on a team that has made so many
bad roster decisions. This move gives me a little hope going forward but they need to be patient with the young man and show Darnold that they believe in him. It's just like with Trubisky. The Bears never showed enough faith in the
kid and that hurts a qb's development. You also need to put the key players & pieces about Sam Darnold to help him succeed.

I had my fingers crossed they'd stay with Darnold and pick two top Olinemen in the draft to finally give him a solid line. It's hard to do anything when the Dlinemen are breathing down your neck because your Oline stinks. Oh well, lets see what this new coach can do with Wilson? Have they said what draft picks they got for Darnold yet?

The Jets should have kept Darnold and drafted another quarterback. Doubling up on the most important position. Then they should have used several of their remaining picks on offensive linemen.

Underrated white offensive linemen are usually available in every draft in the mid to late rounds. They should target those.

2021 6th round pick
2022 2nd round pick
2022 4th round pick

for a 23 year old former 3rd over all pick who has been hampered by ineptness with talent around him as well as the coaching staff I think the Panthers actually fared well.

Yes, definitely a good trade for the Panthers.

Trying to be optimistic - Darnold has a similar skillset to Burrow who had played under the now Panthers OC Joe Brady at LSU during his historical season. I also have to wonder if this was an indictment on the quotas in the draft - currently Lawrence, Wilson and Jones are projected to be the first three players off the board. One of the black quarterbacks would potentially fall to where the Panthers are drafting so they may view Darnold as a better option than either black quarterback.

Mostly just echoing the comments already made - I like the trade for two reasons.

For Darnold, however you rate his potential, he was never going to reach it with the Jets, who have a lousy roster, inept owenership, and unproven coaching staff. And after picking Wilson, Darnold would have been a sitting duck for criticism and blame a la Carson Wentz. It takes an Aaron Rodgers-level pedigree and skillset to keep a first round QB on the bench.

For the teams themselves, it solidifies Zach Wilson as a day-one starter in NY, and Darnold seems very likely to supplant Bridgewater. From a "selfish" standpoint, I'd rather see two white QB's starting. Any improvement in QB play will help McCaffery, as well, and makes the Panthers box scores more interesting to me.

Jason La Canfora is one of the most pathetic anti-white cucks I accidentally come across online from CBS Sports. He constantly carries water for black racial grievances, quota hires, black quarterbacks and the "racial double standard," and that's before the commonplace fawning and worship over standard black bums.

I was suprised to see his name on this byline after skimming the list. Here are two of our guys he spoke up for:

Seven sleeper NFL receivers who could be trade targets for needy teams like the Bears, Ravens and Raiders

...
Some interesting, young, cheap options with teams that have either spent huge at that position or have other intriguing options already in place – or that might not want to extend a secondary option at that spot, given other needs and a tight cap situation.

Being aggressive and seeking value can end up getting richly rewarded in this league, and there are receivers with ample upside who seem caught in situations that are less than ideal. And plenty of teams that are contending or fancy themselves contenders – or teams that are at least potentially on the upswing – could certainly use more receiving options: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Chicago and New Orleans, to name a few.

Scott Miller TB • WR • 10
The Bucs don't want to deal Scott Miller. And they shouldn't deal him. But they are paying a boatload to other pass catchers. And while I understand that Miller is just 5-9, he is a true burner. A deep threat in the DeSean Jackson (in his prime) vein. As in 15.6 air yards per target (second in the NFL), and 15.2 yards per catch and an elite average route depth of 9.8. He is exactly what a team like Seattle should be looking at to take its offense over the top. Make them tell you no. This kid is a thing. He will help you win big.

Alex Bachman NYG • WR • 80
You want the deepest of deep sleepers? I have Alex Bachman. This kid, stuck at the bottom of the Giants depth chart, is built to play on Sundays and runs like he should be in the Olympics. Bachman was a walk-on at Wake Forrest who keeps getting slept on. And after the Giants signed Kenny Golladay to a massive deal, and with guys like Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton still around, and the Giants taking fliers on veteran speedsters like John Ross and Dante Pettis, I would make a pitch for this kid. He runs a legit 4.3 at 6-2, 200. He has languished on some practice squads, but it says here he can play. Yeah, he has never run a route or caught a pass in an NFL game, but do your homework and make a play for a potential freak. Watch what he did to Memphis (while stuck in an offense without much going for it). Many GMs might just default to the 'ol "he's just a slot guy and he's never really played in the big leagues." I'd suggest you grab him if you have a need. I have a strong hunch he can play.

He forgot to mention Andy Isabella, but these are flattering writeups that focus on speed and athleticism rather than a lunch pail.
