Crap because of COVID concerns by the Raiders their Sunday night game against the Bucs has been moved to the late afternoon game if it isn't postponed. The NFL wanted to ensure of having a Sunday night TV game so they moved Seattle and Arizona into the night game slot. Which likely means this will be the first Tampa Bay game I won't get this year. I was looking forward to it too. I'll have to check if it is a Fox game because maybe they would nix the Washington/Dallas early game and show the Bucs game in my area but that is a long shot. If it is on CBS I won't get it because the Patriots have a late afternoon game with the 49ers.

In some good news Giants WR Alex Bachman has been called up for tonight's game. Not sure how or if they will use him but I will be on the lookout for him.

The only thing Idler Arm has "proven" himself to be is a dull, backup-level placeholder who's basically a poor man's Teddy Bridgewater. Herbert should have been the starter from the beginning, no question. The Idler Arm-Fitzpatrick comparison doesn't make sense because not only is Fitz a far better QB, he also brings maturity and leadership that a clown like Idler Arm can never bring.

Tua has a good opportunity to sit and learn from a veteran like Fitzpatrick. If he's thrown in too soon it could hurt him. Personally, I think he's going to be more of an AJ McCarron type - college game that doesn't translate well to the NFL. I may be wrong and I know some here are high on him. If Tua succeeds good for him but in all honesty I just can't get excited for him. I can only get excited for White players, and Polys aren't any more white than blacks. At the end of the day Tua's race has given him access to media hype (similar to Mariota) that White players are denied.

I think replacing Fitzpatrick with Tua is a stupid move. The Dolphins are still in contention for their division. Fitzpatrick is one of the reasons. It doesn't make sense to replace a veteran for a raw rookie in the middle of a race.

This smacks of orders from higher up. The owner probably couldn't wait to get the white man out and the non-white in.

To be fair, you could make the same argument about Idler Arm Taylor and Justin Herbert. The unproven Justin Herbert is starting over the proven Idler Arm. I'm actually more worried about the Dolphins O-line. Jesse Davis (the starting RT) has been starting at LT in place of Austin Jackson who's injured. The RT spot is currently being manned by another "upsider" in rookie Robert Hunt. My fear is when Jackson comes back, it will be Davis who will be shown the bench instead of Hunt who will be inserted into the starting RT spot simply because of his draft position and affleticism. I'm a big Offensive Line guy, and this sumo trend bothers me almost as much as the black quarterback trend does. It was the sumos that led to Ryan Tannehill being run out of town and now he's killing it in Tennessee.
I don’t think that argument flies at all.

Taylor started in week 1 and played very poorly. He was then injured. The coaching staff was strongly stating that Taylor was still their starter. It took Herbert playing at an extremely high level for multiple games for the coaching staff to cave. He forced their hand. In Miami, Fitzpatrick has played at a high level and led them to back to back impressive wins. He’s also been healthy. Benching him is not based upon performance.

I understand Tua is their guy, and if Fitzpatrick had a streak of bad games or they lost a few in a row, I’d expect the change. The timing right now is idiotic and could be driven by racial motivations.

Burrow, Herbert and Tua were all drafted to be starters and potential franchise quarterbacks. Burrow started from day one, Herbert prematurely because of a bizarre injury to Tyrod Taylor but he's been better than advertised, and now Tua is getting his chance. I like Fitzpatrick as much as anyone -- I'd been starting him in CF's Lambert League this season -- but he's the ultimate journeyman, backing up and spot starting for half the teams in the league over his career. Does anyone seriously think the Dolphins are a legitimate challenger in their division against Buffalo and New England much less a threat to go to the Super Bowl? It is what it is, don't overthink it.

Yea it was going to happen at some point. The Dolphins are on a bye and at .500 so they figure just make the change now. I will stand by my comments about the hype around Tagiolova as compared to paler Alabama QBs - Mac Jones being the next one up. If you or anyone can bare it watch an Alabama game see how good Mac Jones plays but see how little credit he gets compared to Tagiolova. They will always defer to Alabama having the deepest group of WRs ever this year.

No, not a Super Bowl contender but they are in the playoff hunt. Making the playoffs is important experience for a young team trying to build something. The ultimate goal is to win games and drafting Tua is supposed to eventually further that goal. But can anyone honestly say that making the switch now gives them the best chance to win?

Maybe Tua will play great out of the gate and I’ll be wrong. We’ll see.

Not the best chance to win now, but a better chance to win over the long haul. That at least is the theory, time will tell. Whether Tua can even stay healthy is a very big question mark. Not saying I like it, but Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't the future and odds are he won't maintain his present level, as happens with backup and journeymen QBs. Fitzpatrick's career was derailed by his inconsistency wherever he started.

Apparently the Eagles were trying to trade TE Zach Ertz before he got injured?

Look for the Cowboys defense to start rebounding. Vander Esch returned last week and understandably looked a tad rusty. Hopefully his injury issues are behind him? LB Sean Lee is set to return this week. With these two back the Cowboys won't be as powder puff but they obviously miss S Jeff Heath.

The Bucs cut rookie WR John Hurst but have decided to bring him back on their practice squad.

The Giants WR Alex Bachman #80 made a brief appearance last night but was not targeted. I don't understand. It isn't as if the Giants are loaded with good wide receivers. Quite the contrary. Throw the youngster some bones and see what he can do? Instead they relied heavily on "Engram the Stiff" and got burned.

Also it is possible CM could return Sunday against the Saints but most think he will come back for the Thursday night game against the Falcons.

I agree about the Giants. Give Bachman a shot. If not why have him on the roster?

Great news about CMac. I had no idea he would be back that soon. To be safe they should wait another week. They need an upgrade at qb. Bridgewater is average and is not gonna win you that many games in my opinion.

As someone who reads the local newspapers here in South Florida, I think the telling thing was how much more accurate Tua was during the practices than Fitzpatrick. That's why they gave him the keys to the proverbial car so to speak. I really don't think it was a racially motivated move by Flores. Tua's not even black so I doubt that's the case.

The thing I worry about with Tua was that was he really the better NFL prospect than Justin Herbert, or was this an ownership move in order to sell tickets in a fickle Miami/South Florida market. We will soon find out. Remember, the idiot Ross pushed for Lamar Jackson a few years ago.

I hope this doesn't mean bad news for Scotty Miller.

Bad news for Watson, Miller, and Hurst! Bad for their White TEs that were coming alive too! Stupid ass decision to screw up team chemistry. I guess Uncle Tom thinks he can reign him in LOL

I was about to write "What can Brown do for you", I guess Arians is all in on "winning this year".

Arians seems to have Mother Teresa complex he got Arizona to draft the troubled Mulatto Matheiu, now this signing of FUBAR Brown.

Supposedly his excuse is he was on the verge of losing his football dreams in high school because he impregnated his future wife and had to leave catholic school because of it.

That's too bad that Antonio Brown somehow gets back into the league and will do so at the expense of a white athlete.

I agree. Reports suggest he won't suit up until week nine which is three weeks away. Out of all teams. There are plenty of teams with all black WR corps and this longtime jackass had to choose the Bucs and C block budding white receivers.

He didn't really play in 2019 and it seems he might be a bit rusty. Still not welcome news. Miller will likely be relegated to being a pure back up.

Antonio Brown is a cancer in the locker room. His talent is far exceeded by his stupidity on and off the field. Not a smart move by the Bucs. Like in gambling they are all in on making a super bowl even if it means bringing in questionable character types.

This pro-Dim and mocking the military flyover stuff seems to be yet another sign of the militant, intolerant BLM-Antifa types tightening their grip on the sports media world (as if they don't have enough of a stranglehold on it already). Joe Buck doesn't surprise me, I never really saw anything in the guy to respect, but I remember reading that Troy Aikman was considered a "redneck" type by his black teammates and they didn't really like his lifestyle, but respected his playing ability. Aikman doesn't seem like the type to go for this crap (remember, he's also usually been fair to White players in his commentary), so I wonder if this started with (((someone))) paying ol' Troy a visit and warning him, "in the era of Saint George, no one's career is sacred, not even an ex-superstar QB." Maybe "motivating" him to rack up libturd street cred to make sure his job is secure.

Some might call this conspiracy stuff but I find that a lot more believable than every person in sports media just coincidentally happening to be a libtard because 'tards are as pure as the driven snow with excrement that don't stink.

I couldn't agree more. All of the people on tv whether coaching, announcing down to the players must do as they are told to keep their positions. The BLM/Antifa Agenda of Communism is growing bigger every day! We must fight this crap as
it's destroying our nation from the inside out. This election is so important. It cannot be overstated. Please vote guys.

I dislike the military flyovers, the 200 foot American flags draped on the field, and the emphasis on the national anthem, which I don't think should even be played before sporting events. If there has to be music I'd rather hear the teams' fight songs.

But it certainly doesn't mean I'm not patriotic because I am, actually more than ever this year as so much of what is dear to our history and traditional way of life is under direct, revolutionary attack from above and below. I just think it's inappropriate unless the teams playing are representing their respective countries and it's an international match, akin to how the national anthem of the gold medal winners is played at Olympic Games. Otherwise we don't need the national anthem any more than we need all the fans to stand up and also recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

I took Aikman's statement about Biden and Harris not allowing military flyovers to be a comment on how left wing they are, as I've always perceived Troy to be a traditional conservative type and I'll be surprised if he isn't. At any rate he and Buck deserve the benefit of the doubt rather than being lumped in with the true subversives who are so well placed in the corporate media.

Here's Buck's comments on it: https://sports.yahoo.com/joe-buck-e...as-being-100-percent-sarcastic-173848212.html
