NFL News, Rumors and Musings

Davis is a physical specimen but regulated to Special Teams. Friggin ********. 6'2 200lbs with 4.4 speed. At least he's carved out a niche.
At least he still earns (a little) money and gets to play the game he loves (a little). Looked him up and he was a solid rotational piece with the Rams. Should at least get the chance to start.

Derek Wolfe resigned with Baltimore..I see Atlanta traded for blocking TE Lee Smith
I wish Wolfe went somewhere better.

Also, the Chiefs sign RG Kyle Long for 1yr, $5M. Looks like he’s clearly ring chasing, but a disappointment. Minnesota would have been nice since both guards are open. Austin Blythe would be a great for them.

The continued mistreatment of Andy Isabella continues... frighten horrible.

How can AZ think keeping one of the fastest players in the league-and not just one one-trick pony as his hands are excellent-on the sideline is good for their team or their brand??

At least Chiefs went @Snowplow route with some proven Vets.

Agreed on Wolfe. I believe teams are holding his injury history against him and of course the cracker card. But like you said with Davis good to see them still playing and getting paid.

Definitely! Should be far more “Snowplows” in a truly meritocratic league! But with lines getting darker and darker better they go to places like, Minnesota where Kirk Cousins needs help on the interior. Or Cincy, where Burrow will get killed if they keep trotting out mostly sumos.

This is great news for Tyler Higbee, not good news for Seattle's White tight ends, but none of them have become dominant the way they're used by Chompin' Pete. Higbee had a tremendous run during the last part of the '19 season when Everett was injured, albeit partly at the expense of Cooper Kupp, whose playing time was suddenly reduced after he was turning into one of the top three WRs in the league:

Seahawks signed TE Gerald Everett, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year, $6 million contract. Everett gets a prove it deal after a couple of iffy seasons in a timeshare with Tyler Higbee. Attached to Russell Wilson and his pass-game coordinator from Los Angeles, Everett has some sleeper appeal in fantasy circles even with Will Dissly and other serviceable tight ends on the roster. The 27-year-old is a former second-round pick with a career 6.7 yards per target average.

Rams DT Morgan Fox signs a 2yr, $8.1M deal with the Panthers. $7M guaranteed, so he's all but assured of being rostered for both years. Hope he actually gets to play. Puzzled as to why he signed there. If CMac stays, and they draft Zach Wilson then I'd consider watching them some but the remaining pieces are just not worth watching. Head cuck-I mean coach, Matt Rhule is really making the team the Black Panthers.

Bills sign P Matt Haack, all but assuring Corey Bojorquez (Mestizo dad, White mom) goes elsewhere. I was okay with Bojorquez although this is definitely a "lightening" move. Haack is actually ery athletic, having ran a 4.57, and is a former high school WR. Also threw a TD to Jason Sanders in Miami in 2019, so he's a weapon for trick plays.

A 3rd woman come out. He is toast as far as being traded. Sit and think and do better. LOL

supposedly the panthers are going to pursue him. Black athletes seem pretty immune to any sort of sexual assault or domestic violence.

Leonardfan, you are most likely correct. We shall see.

Yeah the Panthers want real leaders in the club house. That's the kind of leadership to win super bowls. What a Clown World we live. in. I hope Cmac gets out of there.

The Bills sign Mitch Trubisky. Probably as good a landing spot as he could have hoped for after the way he was wrecked by The Rodent.

BTW let's get this thread focusing on White athletes. One post after another about Watson is unnecessary. There's way too much negativity on CF instead of concentrating on what the site is about.

Surprisingly good contract for Kyle Rudolph:

Giants signed TE Kyle Rudolph, formerly of the Vikings, to a two-year, $14 million contract. Rudolph wanted to out of Minnesota because he wasn't being utilized as a pass-catcher. The 31-year-old had 367 and 334 yards over his last two seasons with Kirk Cousins in town. But now he'll compete with Evan Engram for looks over the middle. It's possible that Engram is traded before the season, however, as he only has one-year, $6.0 million left on his rookie contract. Either way, Rudolph doesn't project well in fantasy for 2021. The Giants are looking to sign Kenny Golladay this evening.

I really hope CMAC gets out of there... Carolina is a quickly sinking ship.

Trubisky in Buffalo- not sure how I feel. On the one hand, great insurance for Josh Allen if he were to get hurt. Mitch is also a world class athlete who was held back by the rodent. Yet on the other hand, I want to see him play and succeed in showing everyone it was the rodent holding him back from reaching his potential.

The positive about Trubisky going to Buffalo is that he will be working with Josh Allen closely - the jump Allen took between year 2 and 3 was remarkable. This was mostly due to Allen's work ethic but also Daboll working with him and helping to develop him as a QB. I think this will also help out Trubisky.

Not a bad destination. It should help out Jones.

The Dolphins signed Center Matt Skura. I have a feeling he's merely a stop gap since he has been injured off and on. The Dolphins are probably targeting the Georgia sumo center in the draft.

Hopefully the Giants will trade hands-of-stone Engram before the season to allow Rudolph to start. He’s on the last year of his rookie deal so he’d have “value”.

The Jets sign guard Dan Feeney. He was a starter with the Chargers but might only be a super sub.

DL Brent Urban signs with Dallas. He’s a solid rotational player.

TE Ryan Izzo traded to the barren wasteland of Houston.

When this bust is your number one receiver, you know Jared Goff is being set up to fail:

Lions signed WR Breshad Perriman, formerly of the Jets, to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Perriman instantly becomes the No. 1 wideout for the league's most barren receiver corps. More help will be on the way, but Perriman should be a starter. Perriman would ideally be a role-playing No. 3 or 4 option, but his deep threat remains undeniable. He averaged 16.8 yards per catch last season with Sam Darnold and Joe Flacco at the sticks for the Jets' moribund offense. Jared Goff struggles in the deep game, though he also lacked a down-field threat like Perriman in Los Angeles last year. There should have been more teams willing to pay Perriman. He could come into the fantasy WR3 mix during weeks where four teams are on bye.

Trubisky is a legitimate NFL starting quarterback. He ranked 20th in the quarterback ratings last year. He's not a bust at all.

If he were black he would still be a starter. He has been unfairly maligned by the anti-white mainstream media.

The Bills now have an exceptionally strong quarterback situation.

Some really bizarre pretzel logic in that weenieworld blurb.

Ouch! This is the dream of big men who chase small, shifty guys around the field, never catching them.
