NFL Draft Busts

It's time to play Predict-a-Bust (TM). Who will the busts be in the 2022 NFL Draft? Who do you predict will be a bust from this year's draft class?

I think Kayvon Thibodeaux is probably going to be a bust.

He has a terrible attitude. He even stated that coaches can't tell him anything he doesn't already know.

A lot of analysts say that his "tape" from his college career isn't top level. It's okay with some flashes. Chris Simms is one analyst who pointed this out. He doesn't even have Thibodeaux as one of his top five edge players.

He's a guy that was a top recruit from high school and the announcers have lauded him far beyond his actual play.

He's an over-hyped prospect with a high bust potential.

I predict both cornerbacks, Sauce Gardner and Darrell Stingley, Jr., will bust. I can’t remember the last highly drafted corner that lived up to the hype. It seems that the only cornerback draft criteria is that they are black, go to a big name school, and have a cool nickname.

This longstanding thread is for actual draft busts. Predicting draft busts is fun to do but should go in a thread for predictions of draft busts.

Tavon Austin, the 8th overall pick in the (admittedly poor) 2013 draft, has signed a one year deal with the Bills, his 6th team in as many seasons. He has a whopping 63 receptions over that 5 year span.

Eternal upside.
