I think the NFL is racist at certain positions actually all positions The black guys that make the team should make the team but there are a lot of white players because of their skin get cut. In the sixties seventy and eighties black were faster and could jump higher but things have changed white players now are just as fast and can jump just as high now. But we have to deal the American conception in still in their minds that blacks are better athletes which we know is no longer true anymore

Plenty of blacks who don't deserve to be on NFL rosters.

Cardinals released LB Phillip Wheeler.

The Cardinals dumped him to make room for Scooby Wright, who was promoted from the team's practice squad. Wheeler underwhelmed in a backup role with Atlanta last year, earning PFF's No. 24 grade out of 31 qualifiers at 4-3 outside linebacker

Once Wright gets regular playing time it will be hard to get him out of the lineup.

Some good news!

Bears promoted WR Tanner Gentry from the practice squad.

An UDFA out of Wyoming, Gentry pushed for a 53-man roster spot all summer. He caught four passes for 77 yards and a touchdown during the preseason. Gentry was a big-play machine in the Mountain West. Considering the sorry state of the Bears' receiver corps, he could get snaps this Sunday.

Jaguars signed WR Max McCaffrey.

Christian's brother, McCaffrey was plucked off the Saints' practice squad. A 2016 UDFA out of Duke, McCaffrey's next regular season appearance will be his first. He caught eight passes for 85 yards in the preseason.

Double nice news. I never thought much of Allen Robinson the converted QB from Penn State who put up big numbers two years ago for the Jaguars but was ineffective last season. At least McCaffrey is a real WR with better speed even though the media would never admit to that. Gentry had a stellar preseason so it is hard to imagine he won't be an improvement on the previous sorry ass Bears WR's.
Two areas need to be cleaned up though.
Speaking of non drafted WR's for now it looks like the Bengals are still utilizing Alex Erickson as only a PR and KR but after another pathetic game you would think that dumb ass coaching staff would plug Erickson into the lineup. The Bengals look to be heading for the ditch. And Denver is playing footsies with Jordan Taylor early on by dumping him on the inactive game day lists. Both of these players have talent but will we get a chance to see it on display?
