This should be a good week of football. It just so happens that 3 of CF's favorite teams are playing important games, all 3 of which will be nationally televised:

SEA @ PHI
A crucial game for both teams with significant playoff implications. I'm hoping the Eagles can win to stay in the race for the #1/2 seed, and making things difficult for the Blackhawks and their playoff chances. This is the late FOX game on Sunday which 90% of the country will see.

NE @ SD
Same as above, huge game for both teams. I'd like to see a NE victory to further secure their chances for the #1 seed. This is the SNF game.

ATL @ GB
The MNF game which should be an easy win for GB as they try to secure either the 1 or 2 seed.

Chris Conte out for the game with a back injury. Happened to see his Twitter account - a modest few hundred followers. It's really sad that the majority of the tweets are him defending himself against dwfs who blame him for anything that goes wrong with the Bears. He seems to be racially aware of the hate. Even suggested that he should change his number to 45 in honor of Gary Fencik of the '85 Bears.

When Romo was flushed out of the pocket and made that great off-balance TD throw to Beasley, all Phyllis Simms could do was badmouth Conte, saying he "mistimed his jump." It was a tremendous all-around offensive play and no way should the camera and the announcer have been focusing on Conte, who was a minor player. It should have been nothing but praise for Romo and Beasley. If Conte was black, Simms and the producer (who decides what camera shots to show) would have portrayed the play much differently. The DWFs take their lead from long-time Caste clowns like Simms, who is Collinsworth-lite.

By contrast, when Cutler ran it in for a touchdown, black Dallas safety J. J. Wilcox should have tackled him at about the 2 yard line but weakly bounced off Cutler instead of going for a form tackle. Not a word was said about it by Phyllis and there was no camera shot of Wilcox after Cutler scored.

White athletes are generally safe to criticize and insult because they tend to be sedulous and humble and too mature to fall into the standard, chimpout behavior of the majority of Black athletes, who tend to be insanely racist themselves but all too willing to play the race card, tend to be disgustingly immature, and completely unable to take even the most constructive, minor criticism without throwing a tantrum like a f*cking retard.

Whites are, for better or for worse, usually of the disposition to just turn the other cheek and take the moral high road, even if other people are too stupid to realize their own moral depravity.

As in, "You blame me, I know I'm innocent and you can think what you want."

Colossal ******* like Collinswoman and Phil Seemslikeahomo want to avoid being called racist so any criticism they have in general toward a team is fixated on the Whites on the team.

Therefore, when a team does something stupid, the White players will be the ones called out on it regardless of whether or not they were even involved. If Blacks were attacked verbally in the manner that Whites are insulted--and these Blacks generally DESERVE the criticism because of their GARBAGE play, all Hell would break loose.

So, media people just play it safe like the cowards they are. And that is why things will never change. Or, at least not for a long time.

The hate for Conte is unreal. How about the rest of secondary? No peanut Tillman hurts. Jennings has zero pics and makes a hell of a lot more money than Chris.

Apparently, Mike Sando at ESPN.com thinks Eric Decker was one of the worst free agent signings this off season. Claims Decker's past success is all due to Peyton Manning, and that Decker hasn't done anything to help the Jets... wow... So, is Mike Sando an idiot? or racist? or both?

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, and just say he's a dumbass that doesn't understand football, but he's a supposed 'insider' at ESPN.com.

The Bears Affirmative Action defensive coordinator Mel Tucker is awful. His defenses regularly give up big numbers.

Only two teams in NFL history have had back to back games in which they gave up over 50 points and the 2014 Bears are one of them.

The Bears may not have the best defensive personnel but they shouldn't be as bad as they are. They need a new defensive coordinator.

If Decker had a competent quarterback to throw to him he might have better numbers. Decker's a good wide receiver.

The criticism of him is because he's white.

I repeat, did Decker bother to consider who would be throwing to him when he signed with the Jets? Did he have the notion the New York Press Corp would love him unconditionally?

I think Decker decided to go to the Jets because he probably felt they wanted him and offered him the best deal. I disagreed with him signing there as well but he was treated as an after thought in free agency. There wasn't a market for him due to his skin color so he in probably decided to go to the team that he felt like wanted him and respected his ability and talent.

Any criticism of Decker by the media is moronic. Anyone with half a brain knows that Deckers downturn in production was due to geno smiff being the worst starting qb in the league. That clown Sando probably doesn't want to admit that yet another black quarterback as flopped. Honestly Decker has not had a bad year all things considered.

I blame Decker and his agent on this dilemma. Any moron could see a situation like this was going to happen. Smith isn't an accurate down field thrower and even if he were benched Glass Joe Vick has never had more than 2 3K passing season and he was barely above that in Philly. Decker had the potential to string multiple 1k season in Denver and win an elusive championship. Plus he went through a 1970's style offense before in Tim Tebow. Unless the Broncos totally low balled him in terms of salary this was among the dumbest free agent moves in recent years. Short of signing with Oakland or Washington signing with the Jets is as close to career suicide as possible.

from that article it looks like Denver had zero interest in keeping him. I can't knock him for getting a contract he deserved, hopefully the jets qb situation improves next season.

As I remember it at the time Decker had little interest but one team that was definitely looking for a receiver was Detroit. I remember because I thought that would be awesome having him across from Calvin Johnson. Also Lions fans while definitely DWF's have had some white pass catchers over the years so it's not looked at like something too weird. (Schroeder, Furrey, Durham).

He (or they) passed and the Lions signed Golden Tate who has gone onto become one of the leading receivers in the league in part because Megatron has been injured and also because, while I criticize him occasionally, Stafford has a great passing arm and decent QB IQ, and the Lions have passed a lot over the last few years. Though less this year. But as shown on Thanksgiving when Stafford has that cannon on target there are plenty of yards for everyone.

Really, if you are a receiver and you're looking for a job and you got "Stafford" and "Smiff" which way do you go? I bet his jew agent went for the maximum bucks, results be damned.

From Decker's perspective, maybe he just liked the idea of living in New York, and realized that he would be hated for his Whiteness-playing-a-"Black"-role no matter where he went (other than New England).

Also, maybe he's just one of those players who isn't too concerned about being a breakout star and just wants to get paid.

Like in the NBA, where benchriders no matter what their color earn a handsome paycheck.

Also maybe he thought that his inferior Black qb in New York was just a temporary problem before the guy got fired and replaced by a better ball-thrower, whether White or Black.

I'll never be a pro ball player in a million years, but I'd rather be a relative nobody in a city I love to live in outside of the office, than be a star of some one-horse town where I can't stand anybody and I'm bored to death after I clock out.

It's his life, so good luck to him.

Dwayne Allen is back for the Colts and promptly runs a garbage route on 3rd down. But he'll continue to get the TE targets over Fleener.

Sumo right tackle Dallas Thomas has been getting abused all day, including a play which resulted in a strip sack on Ryan Tannehill. If these coaches had any brains, they would play Jason Fox and bench Thomas. Of course, we all know the reason why they won't.
