SD O-line is sucking big time. Rivers is getting no time and man handled.

Manning to Welker TD!

Weddle lined up at Corner Back few plays earlier...Jarrett Johnson is under rated.

Go Woodhead! Break a long one!

Wow! Thought Decker was taking that to the house! Nice return! Maybe the biggest returner at 6-3 217 in the NFL.

First the td to Welker. I want to see him get a superbowl ring. Then a fantastic return by Eric Decker. It looked like his cleat caught the field and that is why he tripped and fell. If only Woodhead was on the Broncos it would be even better. Let's go Broncos.

I wonder if Cam will get the same treatment as Tebow...hahahahaha...of course he won't, he's Black.

Sucks.

Nah. Tebow WON his first playoff game, and his career was over. Newton LOST his first playoff game, and his career is just getting started.

Merrill Hoge, 1989 Steelers. Had two great back to back games against Houston and Denver.

Good one!! That was a significant contribution. I wonder if there was any obscure examples (like it's looking like Woodhead's will be).

Alstott maybe?

Here's a run by Hoge against Denver and one against Houston in the '89 playoffs. That's all I could find of him on Youtube.

I went to HS with the Oilers linebacker Al Smith, No. 54 that Hoge juked out. We played HS ball together. He was kind of a dickhead, as I remember him.

Eugh!! Dickhead's on sky sports just said Woodhead is getting the ball too much because he is only averaging three yards per touch. What a joke the o line and poor play calling are to blame. They need to air it out take some shots keep the defence honest. They know that Matthews and Woodhead are just going to run it up the middle every time. Anyone could defend it.

they ran Ronnie Brown on a toss sweep and he barely got back to the line of scrimmage.

Regarding Woodhead's size, they had Brown returning a kickoff with Woodhead in front of him, and the size difference wasn't that noticeable and Brown is supposed to be 6 foot 230 pounds, looks like he lost some weight and 6 foot might be stretching it. Its not like when you see Darren Sproles lined up next to another back and you can tell an obvious difference.

Moreno isn't averaging much more, and his qb has twice as many passing yards as Rivers.

The Chargers should do what the Broncos are doing, running the pistol formation, its not just for option plays, Alabama runs it quite often. It gives you the benefits of shotgun formation and more creativity with the running game, they are able to run more than just the draw up the gut, they can run any play thats designed for plays under center.
