I confidently predict that Kadarius Toney will be a bust. The Giants were idiots even for the Caste NFL for taking him in the first round, and my saying that has nothing to do with his allegedly currently having Covid. After a while it gets fairly easy to predict players who will bust. "Tutu" Atwell, taken by the Rams in the second round this year is another obvious one, as was N'Keal Harry or whatever his name is by the Patriots a couple years ago, but those are topics for other team forums not this one.

Kadarius Toney (COVID-19) is expected to resume practicing Tuesday or Wednesday.
Toney returned to the team facility on Tuesday after testing positive last week. "We’re not going to do anything with him on the field with the team until we know he’s fully ready to go," coach Joe Judge said. "His timetable will be different, I’m sure, than a lot of the guys (who had COVID) last year that we learned from." Although it sounds like it will be minimal, any missed practice time will be a big deal for an in-progress wideout who still has only 18 games of official experience at the position. Doubting the last Giants first-round wideout in fantasy football did not exactly pay off, but it is difficult to envision Toney making a meaningful re-draft impact as a rookie.

On a less serious note, the Giants cut fat "prospect" retread Kelvin Benjamin for showing up 17 lbs overweight to walkthroughs this week. Benjamin was signed in the spring at the weight of 264, was asked to come back this month at 251, clocked in at 268 "of muscle gain" by his own admission, and argued with new coach Joe Judge on his way off the practice field.

Benjamin then claimed Judge cusses too much to ever win a championship. Judge rebutted that he let's it fly a bit sometimes but knows to hold his tongue around your mother, auntie, grandma, sister, and daughter. (this quote seems to have been scrubbed, as it's uncouth) Wait until Joe Judge finds your auntie and your daughter as his assistant coaches - then he'll finally know gender equity!

This doesn't bode well for the Giants' win total, which will be an unfair indictment of Daniel Jones.

Garrett’s unimaginative play calling may also hurt Jones. I am sure the knives will be out for Jones this year by the anti-White media.

I think Rudolph will help out Jones. Hopefully the oline is better this season and they have a running game. They did bring over Golladay to give a decent reciever option for Jones on the outside.

Jones struggled to show any chemistry with this top receivers, especially WR Kenny Golladay. While Rosenblatt acknowledged it is too early in camp to be negative, he wrote, 'There wasn't really anything positive to take away from Jones' performance.'

Analysis: Yikes. Jones has been a bottom-dweller among the quarterback ADP charts all summer, so this news shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. It also doesn't bode well for gamers who had been hoping he would shrug off last year's disastrous season, either. For now, Jones is a fringe QB2 with arguably as much risk as reward potential.

They are going to go all in on Daniel Jones this year - just like they did to Trubisky. On a more positive note it seems that Alex Bachman is generating buzz early on in camp.

Analysis: A few weeks back, Johnson was claimed off waivers by a Giants team with three experienced starters plus a rookie first-round pick at his position. Following a pair of healthy scratches, Johnson was active for Week 3 as the No. 5 receiver, ultimately catching five of seven targets for 51 yards after Shepard and Slayton left early. Johnson even led the team's wideouts with an 84.8-percent snap share in the second half, as No. 1 receiver Kenny Golladay was battling through a hip injury. Of course, Golladay seems healthier this week, and the Giants also have John Ross (hamstring) on track to return from injured reserve. It amounts to an unpredictable situation behind Golladay, with each of Johnson, Kadarius Toney, Ross and C.J. Board in the mix for WR snaps.

Well this week is possibly even better now that CJ Board broke his arm. Toney also left the game injuried. We’ll see the status of Slayton and Golladay but at the moment, the Giants healthy receivers are Shepard and a couple of bums.

Having Bachman back is nice.

I thought for a brief moment they had 3 White wideouts but they terminated the contract of Travis Tiovonen. Tiovonen is a 6’-4” receiver who played at North Dakota. He spent some time on Choppin’ Pete’s Plantation this preseason. Guess the Giants couldn’t have too many honkies, even on the PS, as that would upset the apple cart.

Year after year the Giants idiotic "brain trust" is incapable of putting together even an average offensive line. And while their receivers are ok, they're all China dolls who constantly take turns going on and off the injury list. And as a result, the talented Daniel Jones is being ruined by their incompetency, even by NFL standards of idiocy and incompetency:

The New York Post's Ryan Dunleavy reports Giants players don't expect Daniel Jones (neck) to play again this season. Jones was ruled out for Sunday, his third straight missed game, and remains week-to-week. The Giants are erring on the side of caution with Jones, who still hasn't been cleared for contact. Nothing has been ruled out beyond this week, but Jones is running out of time with only three games remaining. The Giants will give at least one more spot start to Mike Glennon against Dallas with Jones sidelined.

Unfortunately, it appears that Daniel Jones is not an effective starting NFL quarterback. He has the physical tools, but just doesn’t get the job done. That said, it probably won’t matter who the Giants start at QB, they are a dysfunctional, crappy organization.
