Kamara does return after a 3 game suspension . Plenty fans are upset w OC Pete Carmichael. + the use of Taysom Hill. The Saints "O- line" has been a disappointment across the board. They have to step it up!

Well what do you know! Daniel Sorenson is back ....the end of last season when given the opportunity he was making game changing impact! Had wondered if he retired.

The Saints have signed another player from their 2022 team to the practice squad

After he recorded a pair of interceptions in 17 games for them last season, the New Orleans Saints brought veteran safety Daniel Sorensen back in the fold.

The Saints signed Sorensen to the practice squad Wednesday. The 33-year-old had not signed with any other team since the end of last season.

Sorensen played almost exclusively on special teams for much of the 2022 season in New Orleans, but he was thrust into a starting spot at the end of the year because of injury and he played well.

In the last three games of the season, which included two starts, Sorensen recorded 17 tackles, two interceptions and three pass breakups.

Man imagine if our Goys were ever shown the respect and confidence from coaches they deserve?! Elite numbers when called upon. Just takes real affletes to get hurt/arrested.

His play the last three games when he was pressed into duty was stellar. It was amazing that he was relagated to special team duty for the most part. Then it was criminal when he was not brought back.

Horvath, if given a legitimate shot, has a chance to be a Peyton Hillis-esque runner.

I wonder if this negates the reports of the Saints being interested in Carson Steele?

There is talk of Horvath having a Kyle Juszczyk type roll. Of course, it's just mainly speculation by podcast pundits. Klint Kubiak coming over from San Fran as OC where Kyle Juszczyk thrives is the cause the thinking.

That would be better than his current trajectory.. Caste out of the League. Still Juice is criminally underused, but id take it if Horvath sticks around!

Kyle Sheets climbing the ladder at OTA's. Looks like he has all the skills necessary be on the roster. I'm not holding my breath. Practice squad, maybe. I will say fans are rooting for him.

I'm not all that shocked Kyle is gone. There was not much talk at all about him during OTAs and minicamp. Kind of a shame.

The TE room is full:

Foster Moreau
Juwan Johnson - injured, may need foot surgery
Dallin Holker
Jesper Horsted
Tommy Hudson
Michael Jacobson
Jimmy Graham???

Taysom Hill is now listed as QB once again, not TE.

Taysom Hill is the best quarterback on the roster. I would rather have him than Carr, point blank.

Pete Werner gets paid, though at the White man's discount:

Saints signed LB Pete Werner to a three-year, $25 million contract extension.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Werner’s deal is worth just over $25 million and includes $17.5 million in guaranteed money. Now under contract through the 2027 season, Werner, who totaled 93 tackles, four TFLs, and one interception last season, will be tasked with leading the Saints’ defense for the foreseeable future. Last season, Werner and the Saints ranked eighth in points allowed per game (19.2) while finishing 13th in yards allowed per game (321.2).

Lol. So they'll have Hill blocking for broken down Kamara? That's like Riggins blocking for those fly by night hirelings on the Jets and Redskins.

Saints trade for DT John Ridgeway. Two interior White DL for the Saints. A rarity in today's NFL.

Hill is a far better running back that Kamara. Honestly Kamara should be the third down back while Taysom is the bell cow.

Yeah for sure! Thanks for the head's up!! Saw massive 6'-5" 321 John Ridgeway last pre-season game ; sad things is the Commanders have NO WHITE DEFENSIVE players on their entire roster! Way to go Saints!

Nice! Now sign Renfrow!
BOOOM! That's why i vrought back Renfrow thread the other day!! Hopefully he will thrive!
