NBA Draft

Even though Andrea Bargnani had a breakout season (21.4 points), his rebounding woes (just 5.2 rebounds), has given the caste establishment more MOCKING ammunition against these SOFT Europeans.

Darko Milicic is already their standard bearer, now they've just added Bargnani to their infamous soft list.
 
I wonder if the Twolves might consider trading Rubio and drafting Fredette. It would be cool to see him and Kevin Love play together. I still prefer to see Utah take him though. That would give them a very young starting 5 heading into the future. Frededette and Gordon would be fun to watch!

Either team would be great for Jimmer. In Utah, his biggest obstacle is Devin Harris (erratic player), Jimmer will be to out perform him in training, scrimmage sessions to prove he deserves the starting spot.

In Minnesota, biggest obstacle his Flynn or Ridnour, but they're definitely easier to Jimmer to handle than Harris. I might go with Utah, Jimmer (and Hayward would make a decent all-white backcourt tandem).
 
Fredette would be a better fit on the T Wolves. They can pound it inside to Love and let Jimmer hit 3's from the outside.

The Jazz have the third pick and might take Enes Kanter or Brandon Knight. If they take Kanter or another Euro big man then they might pick Jimmer at 12. Jimmer reminds me of JJ Barea who just lit up the Thunder for 21 points, but Jimmer is bigger, stronger, and is a better long-range shooter. I can't wait to see how he does in workouts.

If we were to put together a list of "soft" affletes in the NBA, the list would be mind-boggling! The label "soft" is reserved for melanin-deficient folks. For example, look at a player like the amazingly overhyped Lamar Odom. Sure, he has talent, could be great, but he IS "soft" and will check out for weeks at a time. And this is only one (big name) example.
 
Regardless, this draft will be very disappointing. We are looking at maybe 10 whites total drafted. Surprisingly, last year only 7 whites total were drafted. Imagine that! 11 percent total including the Europeans!
 
Hansbrough will play in the NBA, no doubt. He is simply to good of a player to not be given a chance. I'm hoping he'll get picked up in the second round by Indiana, get an opportunity to play with his brother.
 
Talking heads continue to try to put a positive spin on things, but the fact remains that the NBA, by in large, sucks and is a sucky product that isn't as popular as it once was, because there are fewer legitimate superstars compared to the past.

People can try to build up nobodies and call them the next big thing, but the next big thing isn't going to be another Jordan just because he is called another Jordan.

Even in the 1980s, when the NBA seemed just as Black if not more so, at least the players seemed more capable of playing actual basketball.

I think it's because the Black players back then played according to fundamental, White rules.

If the NBA gets torn down and rebuilt the best way it can succeed is to go back to basics. The first basic being to let more White people play because White people actually know how to play the game of basketball rather than the circus minstrel show of traveling, fouling, three second violations, missed 2-foot jumpers, blown slam dunks, chimpouts, etc.

This year's "NBA Playoffs" has been a complete disaster for the PTB, but they won't be eager to admit it. Before the season started, I stated that "if Miami was to win the Championship, how would that save the NBA? And, how would that help the Kings, Raptors, T-Wolves, Bobcats, Pistons, Cavs, etc? You have a handful of 'haves' (that can contend for titles) and the rest of the league are have nots."

That gets proven more as each season goes by, but I have to admit, this year's playoffs has been much more of a deathblow to the NBA products "credibility" than I could imagine! I'm glad D-Howard got knocked out. I'm glad the faux Celtics got crushed. I'm glad the Knicks got crushed. I'm glad that the "explosive Baby Blazers" got knocked out. The "Lake-show" was a NO SHOW! I'm glad that someone is going to lose the Chicongo/Me-ami series.

The key now, however, is that Dallas needs to find a way to overcome the refs "OKC favoritism" to win this pivotal series, to put the final nail in the NBAs coffin.

NBADRAFT.net has five whites in the top 11 I believe. However, only about 10 whites are expected to be taken in the entire draft. That's not an improvement.

And how many of those 10 are AMERICAN? Jimmer Freddette is the only projected lock, while Singler is a fringe 1st round/2nd round pick, and no other white American in sight.



Now that I think about it, JACKSON EMERY should've been given some special consideration. He's BYU all-time leader in steals, and in a parallel universe, he'd be a decent defensive/sharpshooter specialist (ala Derek Fisher).



Chandler Parsons could be a Lamar Odom-type player. But, in reality, don't expect either to make it.

Well Parsons, Singler, Fredette, and Leur are all surefire draftees. Matt Howard, Jon Diebler, Josh Charrelson, Blake Hoffarber, Ben Hansbrough, Jackson Emery, and Tyrel Reed are all white Americans that are NBA ready but are missing from almost all draft boards. Really saddening how none of them will probably get drafted.
 
Matt Howard was on First Take today. He said he is somewhere between late 2nd round to undrafted.
I think he is a good player who will get invited to camp even if he doesn't get drafted. He's a tough, smart player who can rebound and hit 3's. Somewhat similar to Brian Cardinal although Cardinal is stronger. I think he will be a good role player in the league who can play small forward or power forward.

Howard said he has worked out for 9 teams and will work out with 2 more. Hopefully he can be a great glue guy somewhere and get a ring like Brian Cardinal. He would be a good pickup for a top team like the Mavs, Heat, Thunder, and Bulls.
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Howard compared well to Cardinal! Personally, I think Howard would make a good role player like you said above. However, I do think he is far more athletic then Scalabrine. I do remember him working out for the Timberwolves alongside Hoffarber the other day. Kudos to that organization, one of the few white-friendly teams.

Hansbrough was projected by a few mocks to go to Sacramento with the 60th pick, however many now have him now going undrafted due to the King's recent interest in acquiring Fredette at the 7th pick in order to answer their PG woes.

I personally think Hansbrough might end up as Atlanta's only pick in draft. They need a young point guard (Teague is not that great) and he could develop under Hinrich. Keep in eye out for Atlanta, they've been coal black the past few years, but their lack of picks in this year's draft might force them to sign white UDFAs.

On a slightly unrelated vote, has anyone already been chosen to due to evaluate next year's rosters? If not, I'd really love to do it.

I see Jimmer as a another Steve Nash type but a more prolific scorer once he gets established.

Spartan, the NBA is unwatchable these days. At least in the mid 90's it had some decent human beings like Chris Mullin, Karl Malone, John Stockton, and David Robinson. Today's game is a thug league full of criminals and gangster wannabees. I watched the NBA for the first time in years during the Finals only because of Nowitzki. At least some people are starting to take notice and the leagues attendance at games is declining.

We are only around 5 days away from the NBA Draft. I am very excited to see where alot of our guys go. Especially Jimmer. If the Jazz pass him up, I think I'm going to throw up. The money they could make off this kid being the face of the franchise for the next decade would be incredible. Not to mention he is the college national basketball player of the year. Come on Jazz. DRAFT JIMMER!!
 
What a great video! You made my day. I didn't know he had those kind of hops. He is fearless. There are quite a few players that could end up having great careers if they end up going to the right team. Jan Vesely looks to have a bright future hopefully. The last I heard on Joe Alexander is that he had a tryout for the OK. Thunder. He made the all star team in the developmental league last year. I want to see Jumping Joe back in the NBA!

Man you could imagine the publicity Joe would have gotten if he were black? I mean this is a guy who went from warming the bench his junior year in high school to becoming one of the most dominant players in his state. Despite that he still violated the penalty of playing basketball while a white American and got no D1 offers and had to work his way up to playing for West Virginia. Kudos to the hard work put in by him.
 
The Kings are considering taking Jimmer with their pick. While it would be nice to see Jimmer selected in the top 10, I'd much rather see him go to Utah or Indiana.
 
Jimmer could start in Sacramento but would probably come off the bench in Indiana.
He would probably come of the bench in Utah too. In all 3 situations I think he would get
plenty of minutes and shots.
