My favorite and least favorite sports

This will either go down in the who gives a rat's ass category or start up a few posts. Let me start with sports I never watch and follow that up with the somewhat interested to my top 12. I am a sports junkie for sure. Also should point out my postings may not always reflect this list since here at CF I concentrate on more caste type situations.
These are sports I do not like or watch:
volleyball- one caveat I will watch women's beach volleyball but that has NOTHING to do with the sport and everything to do with the skimpy bikinis.
rugby
lacrosse
men's gymnastics
men's figure skating---uh no comment ha ha
diving
anything x-games
MMA-should ban it as far as I am concerned
Tour De France

Here are some sports I will file under very mildly interested in:
college baseball
softball
Olympic skiing
horse racing-only the big three
LPGA
Nascar

Next up are sports that I like but are not staples:
Olympic women's gymnastics
Olympic women's figure skating
Olympic swimming

Just missing out on my top 12 are:
WNBA-never felt right from the get go though
Boxing- waning interest but sometimes certain fighters grab my attention

Top 12 in ascending order:
12-Women's soccer but especially the World Cup and Olympics
11-Golf--pretty much stick to the majors with The Masters being my favorite
10- NCAA women's basketball
9-Track and Field- the Olympics a clear favorite but the World Championships second
8-Men's Soccer-I do not follow the leagues that closely but far and away The World Cup and next to that the Olympics
7-NHL
6-NBA
5-Tennis-both men and women's with extra emphasis on the four majors. Wimbledon and The US Open are two of my favorite events every year.
4-Men's College Basketball
3-NFL
2-College Football
1-MLB---heck I can't help it if I am white--ha ha.

some boxing, certain fighters only
Olympic swimming mens and womens
Oops forgot to say I like watching rowing especially in the Olympics, speed, strength and stamina meets technique...

Dont watch US College Basketball, WNBA or the NBA.....ever! Too much showboating going on...Dont watch Baseball on TV as it is a snorefest, rather watch a local game live

Thanks to all of the above for posting their lists. Hopefully more are on the way. I find it interesting to see what sports members like and dislike. When it comes to basketball and football the biggest reason I prefer the college versions is there are more significant white players. When Larry Bird was in the NBA I preferred the NBA to college basketball so there is some fluidity going on as to how I rank my favorites and that might be the case with some others as well.

Not really a fan of : Soccer, Gymnastics, Track and Field.l, miscellaneous .I do enjoy international contests such as World Cup and the OlympicS in particular the Winter Olympics. I respect all sports as they all require different skills and techniques To master. Not to mention firm believer Sports can benefit a society as long as you participate them And don't become a mindless drunk zombie fanatic.

Favorite: USA Soccer, college football, pro football, hockey, track and a little baseball ( Red Sox )

Least: USA Basketball, swimming, diving, golf tennis, and my most hated sport , lacrosse. I don't know why so many white kids want to play such a boring game when they could be spending their spring running track.

Favorites = American football, MMA, kickboxing, basketball, submission wrestling & old school pro "wrasslin"

Least favorites = Golf, Tennis, Gymnastics.

Moderate Interest = Baseball, soccer, hockey, track/field & amateur wrestling.

"Old school pro wrasslin". I like that too because it's funny. Carny-show biz-and sports combined. Otherwise the only spectator sport I'm interested in is boxing. I was in a car parts store yesterday and they had a baseball game on the tv on the wall. Kind of interesting. I haven't watched a baseball game since I was a kid.

Favorites: baseball, football (pro slightly more than college), college basketball and soccer. I casually watch golf and hockey as well.

Dislike: pretty much all women's sport (tennis and gymnastics being the least bad), NBA ghettoball and any form of auto racing.

My favorite sports would still have to be MLB and NFL, despite continuing attempts to eternally darken both sports.

Moderate interest in tennis, hockey, and softball (softball because I played in college). I also like Olympic shooting & archery, which receive very little attention from the mainstream media, and are heavily dominated by Whites.

I'll watch college football if I can find a White enough game, but I've always preferred pro ball.

Don't really think much about sports I don't like, but if I had to pick a least favorite I'd say basketball. Never found the sport itself interesting, and the ghetto culture just seals the deal.

Thanks again to all of the above for their lists. And for La France Blanche you can't go wrong with MLB and the NFL on top. Nice to know we share a mutual love of MLB. On the subject of softball which you played perhaps I am being too "male oriented " when I say that I much preferred the old standard issue uniforms that featured shorts. Then several years ago they decided to copy the men with the long pants. Going back even further the players wore skirts which is even a better idea from my admittedly skewered point of view but anyway I was curious from your female perspective if you have any thoughts on the matter? I don't like the idea that women must copy men in sports. In tennis for instance the men and women generally have distinct and different outfits that are specific for each sex and I prefer it that way.

Pants are a lot better for sliding than shorts or skirts. Skirts work a lot better for tennis.

I've got a wide range of sports interests, but my favorites would have to be: NFL and college football (even though it's been getting worse, but with NE, GB, and McCaffrey, it should keep the NFL interesting for me), college basketball and NHL, as well as international soccer and golf. I now tend to post more about the sports that don't get covered on here as much; our mainstream NFL posters do a great job in covering it for me.

Least: the NBA.

Casual fan: MLB, other college sports, tennis, Olympics, and track.

For whatever reason, I've never taken an interest in boxing, MMA, etc.

I am not surprised Carolina has MLB on top so he joins La France and myself on that score. And the top of JL's list is not surprising either.
As for the long pants in softball being more comfortable when sliding than shorts, which I sort of figured was the case I think a more old fashioned approach should be adopted. In other words follow the same thinking involved when a lady is debating whether to buy a pair of nifty (everyone will be talking about them) shoes but they feel uncomfortable. Which prompts the salesman to say " who cares how they feel they look great on you." Sold. Ha.

I also enjoy monster truck "racing", but it's not really a "sport". When I was a kid, Dad used to take us to tractor pulls. I also always liked demolition derbies & spectator (auto) races on dirt tracks like NW Georgia's Dixie Speedway.

Favorite to watch:
1. Formula 1: I love the technology behind the cars and the beauty of the cars flying through the
Old European circuits like Spa and Monza. In addition there is the nationalistic feel which we really only see in soccer
2. Tennis (men's and women's): an underrated spectator sport in my opinion.
3. Hockey: constant action and 99.9% white
4. Alpine skiing: I grew up skiing and was on the ski team. Like Formula 1 above, something spiritual / white about watching skiers on edge down the hill in picturesque settings
5.Football: like others have said my interest has waned considerably over the years and it's basically down to player tracking but there's something about watching americas religion that you just can't *quite* cut hah
6. Baseball: I probably like watching in person or listening over the radio than on a TV

Least favorite
1. Any women's sports. Seriously just no interest aside from tennis. The ones I especially can't stand are he lesbian NBA and beach volleyball
2. Golf: never played in real life and just can't quite get into aside from the big tournaments
3. The olympics: wayyyyy too commercialized and they have strayed from the spirit of the game of atheltic ability to doing garbage stuff like floor hockey and ping pong
4. MMA / cage fighting

Favorite spectacles
1. Indy 500: along with the masters, one of the last staples of Americana
2. Tour de France

Nowadays TV is saturated with sports of every kind and level, so I'm picky nowadays what I invest my time in watching. I enjoy watching select MMA and boxing matches, NFL football games, and college basketball. I appreciate a good baseball game. I can't sit there and just watch any game though. It has to have some significance.

Downhill skiing I can watch. I remember watching Franz Klammer's epic run on TV live. Fantastic.

I also like women's gymnastics. It's incredible what those gals can do with their bodies. The combination of power and grace awes me.

I have some reservations about women's MMA and boxing, but hell a good fight is a good fight.

Least favorite? I never played hockey so I never developed an interest. Watching cars go around in circles doesn't do it for me either. Or people riding bicycles.

Curling, no.

A sport not mentioned here is MotoGP - the Formula One of motorcycle racing. Today Nicky Hayden, the last American to win a World Championship back in 2006, died following a cycling accident last week in Italy. From Owensboro "The Kentucky Kid" was 35.

Hayden was more famous in Europe - and I suspect many Asian countries - than pretty much every NFL and NBA star, with one or two exceptions. His death was the top story in the Italian and Spanish news media - and I don't mean the sports pages/reports but the top of the normal news. Yet in the restricted American sports scene he was virtually unknown. I doubt it was much of a story on BSPN even though Moto GP is the second most popular motorsport on earth.
