Movies

Watched Ford v Ferrari the other day.

Really enjoyed it and was remarkably un-diverse.

Highly recommended

This is a show and not a movie but worth the watch. The tv show is called "Mad Men". It is about advertising executives in the
1960's. It's been pretty good so far. Only on season 1 but you guys should give it a chance. Very well done in my opinion.

It’s very good through the 4th season. It gets progressively worse from there and the last season, especially the finale, is near game of thrones atrocious

In the Heart of the sea.

Survival story that supposed to have inspired the the novel moby dick.

Was quite good I thought. It’s been around since 2012 i think so it’s not exactly new but worth seeing it if you havent

Old man gripe time, all the old movies I want to watch or rewatch are usually behind a paywall. I want to watch "Sink the Bismark" for the tenth time but I ain't gonna pay for that.

I finished off the 28 Years and Bone Temple last night. 28 Years is 99% White and damn can they throw a party. I really liked that one. Bone Temple got slow and the director substituted gore for creativity to lengthen the film out, but it was still pretty good. The ending of BT shows scenes of Britain post invasion and gives a hint for further unnecessary sequels. For instance in the last two scenes Cillian Murphy the actor is back and he is on an isolated farm stead giving civics lesson to a young black girl. Of course it is about how in the 20th century all the bad isms were smited but no mention of socialism or communism.

One thing you have to overlook is that these two isolated farm steads in BT with their rickety high fence would actually not be surrounded by howling rage zombies or just ripped down by the Alphas that are immensely powerful.

I tried watching them, but had to fast forward through most of it, especially the barn torture scene and the parts with the big giant zombie sporting a 3’ dong running around the forest. I really think they should leave child actors out of those type of shows. Should have been rated X.

Hope you recover Hock. I give B movies much more latitude than I do mid tier to major theater releases. We have netflix because wife is a Boomer con normy that requires "content." I can understand FF the second movie because of the two movies that was certainly close to being "content" than the first. I only watched the first because of some comments on zero hedge saying that 28 Years had ethnonationalist something or another undertones.
