More acceptance for gay players

Pro-homosexual punter Chris Luwe has been let go by the Vikings. According to the linked article from Yahoo it's entirely over his "gay" marriage support.

I don't know enough about Kluwe to have an educated opinion about this but let's just say my spider senses are tingling - this feels like MSM propaganda. One of the commenters below the article called Zach writes:

This story is laughable, most of Kluwe's stats rank near the bottom of most of the punters, especially placing punts inside the twenty. These stats prompted the Vikings to go out and draft a punter, in a division where field position is paramount with three very good, two of which elite, qbs play. The absolute acceptance of homosexuality is the death throws of a nation. Were going down very fast. I feel very sorry for kids that have to grow up in this pig pen of a country.

The word is out. The same thing in the U.S. Military. Keep your mouth shut, don't make waves, and you can continue to collect a paycheck. The "powers at be" have decided to make the "gay way" the "OK way." Don't believe it for a second.
Football and ALL ORGANIZED SPORTS are based on what is called the "military model."
Look it up in any "Sociology 101" book. From the top down there has to be a coherent and unifying principal that the group of people form around and makes them different from the rest of the human race. (for example, the NFL does not take a list of 1,696 players and randomly chose 32 groups of 53 to play each other on Sunday) Think of each group of players as a Society, or a Club, or a Unit, A TEAM ! Once we have this concept, we can move on to the next.
If you have ever experienced being on a high school football team. Or the wonderful pleasure a military "boot camp." Or at the other end of the spectrum, if you have ever been a inmate (wearing a orange jumpsuit) in the County Jail. You my friend, have experienced what is called the "US vs. THEM" mental condition. (It is what makes the world go around)
But within our "us vs. them" group, we are not all equal. We have what is called 'LEADERS.' In the military, they are called Sergeants. In sports we call them Coach.' You experience it every day of your working life. YOU CALL this Person your BOSS.
OK lets jump to the Chase. All these relationships are based on what is called RESPECT.
Now when you are in the "trenches" of life. And you have that "leader" of men, yelling at you to pull that rope, or PUSH for ONE MORE YARD. And you DO IT (you did not think you could)
That is because of that "respect" thing you had for that dude called "leader."
But once you find out that "sergeant" is taking it up the *******. Or your powerful and fearless leader, likes to sleep with young boys. It kind of kills the whole ILLUSION.

I am trying to condense a whole Sociological theory here. But I think you get the idea.

There is pretty solid evidence that identifying as a male or female in contradiction of one's external sex organ is a matter of biochemistry, and therefore not exactly chosen, therefore not the fault of the individual. Our biochemistry is at the root of our personalties.

That said, queers are, well, queer. Like Jaxvid, I more or less say live and let live. I have never set out to harm another person, physically or professionally, because of his or her homosexuality. But don't tell me I can't laugh at or tell queer jokes. Don't tell me homos are perfectly normal.

Ok, Froot Loop, you were "born that way." Fine. You deserve no special recognition because of it. What you deserve is to keep what you earn and not be physically harmed (unless you ask for it). As for understanding and tolerance, it is YOU who must understand that most healthy people find homosexuality distasteful and perhaps threatening. It is YOU who must learn to tolerate what you feel is others' misunderstanding you.
