Thanks for the updates. Trying to just ignore the idiocy of Manfred and enjoy watching white athletes excel at the game!
Agree.
Last nights stats:
Bregman, HOU: 2/4, HR, 3 RBI, 2R
Hosmer, SD HR(2) 3rbi, 2r, 3/3
Meadows , TB: HR (2)
Posey, SF HR (2)
Trout, LAD, 2/3, RBI, R, 2BB. MT already getting walked, a lot. Leading the league with four.
Blackmon, COL HR
McMahon, COL HR 2 RBI
Bellinger, LAD triple, r, rbi
Lux, LAD 2/5 rbi, r, triple
Seager, LAD, 3/5.rbi. 3r, double
Turner, LAD, 3/5, 3rbi,r, double
Bauer gets the win for LAD
A lot of our guys are showing up early, especially Eric Hosmer. 13 total bases in the first two games is a Padre record. He's had four opportunities with runners in scoring position and has come through every time and 2 HR's
Mike Trout is being his usual self although he hasn't homered yet, but he's hitting the ball hard and often and getting on base. I think he's been on base in 7 of his official first 9 PA's.
The Dodgers are loaded with hitting talent. Although Kershaw lost the opener they won last night behind Seager, Turner, Bellinger, and young 2b 6'2 Gavin Lux.
Houston's Alex Bregman killing it as well with 2 HR's. He could give Trout a run for MVP.
Not much on the Philadelphia/Atlanta game Thursday-The Phillies with young talent in Harper, Hoskins, and Bohm. Realmuto was 2/4, RBI in their win over the Braves.
Atlanta with talent as well, with reigning MVP Freeman, Swanson, and Austin Riley.
Guys, I will try and give updates as much as possible, but I may miss some stories and stats as the season gets into full swing.
Anyone else feel free to pitch in.
Thanks
BTW, the new who's better than Mike Trout player, Tatis JR is off to a slow start. He's 1/8 and was caught stealing in first attempt last night. He also has the early league lead in K's with 5. Not trying to rag on the guy, but he's got a long way to go as does everyone else to be hailed as better than the Millville Meteor/Kiiiiiid.
