MLB 2021 Season

Your Welcome!
Although not on the list, looking for Washington's John Lester to get win number 200...and Kershaw is edging closer with 175 wins at age 32. Kershaw has an outside chance at 300 if he can stay healthy.

Only pale face starting for Milwaukee today is the pitcher. Dominicans/Venezuelans, Blacks, and Even 2 and a half Asians. LOL this Club is talentless and will likely be historically bad this season. Oh also it's no longer Miller Park because they sold out to whatever corporation has highest $. On top of Covid Hoax and mandatory mask rules.. I'll probably never attend another game in Milwaukee. Was a shame because tailgating Brewers games was usually the best part. Now that's banned too.

It’s amazing how they treat the fans like hazardous waste. I don’t think they’ve calculated the long-term effect of banning fans. People will find other interests, other places to spend their money, and many will never come back.

I'd say you're 100 percent right.. You could already see Big Conferences like SEC and Big 12 sweating because of their hemorrhaging losses due to the "pandemic." They've already stated they will have fans back next season I'm sure under some vaccine worshipping rule.

OPENING DAY!
Please send in updates when you have time. I'll do what I can. However, it's beautiful here in NC and I plan on playing a round of golf with my son. I'll try to get to some this evening.

Forgot to mention Adam Eaton from last night. In his return to the White Sox he goes yard with an opening day HR. Eaton has led the league in triples twice and has career 73% stolen base success rate.

MLB is still woke. The commissioner just announced that the ALL-STAR Game would be moved to another site because of the new voting laws passed by Georgia's legislature. They will still honor the bigoted Hank Aaron though.

LOL this is what it's like to see Sports Dying right in front of us. The Death Spiral of Wokeness continues. Don't forget! It's almost that time of year where they whine about there not being enough American Blacks in The League. As often discusse, the endless wave of Afro Latinos apparently doesn't count as Black enough for ((them)).

MLB also becomes a memory for me. F them all.

Ok. Not starting 2021 out on a positive note on the MLB thread.
Anyway...
Austin Meadows for the Rays with his second HR in as many nights!

Thanks for the updates. Trying to just ignore the idiocy of Manfred and enjoy watching white athletes excel at the game!

Agree.
Last nights stats:
Bregman, HOU: 2/4, HR, 3 RBI, 2R
Hosmer, SD HR(2) 3rbi, 2r, 3/3
Meadows , TB: HR (2)
Posey, SF HR (2)
Trout, LAD, 2/3, RBI, R, 2BB. MT already getting walked, a lot. Leading the league with four.
Blackmon, COL HR
McMahon, COL HR 2 RBI
Bellinger, LAD triple, r, rbi
Lux, LAD 2/5 rbi, r, triple
Seager, LAD, 3/5.rbi. 3r, double
Turner, LAD, 3/5, 3rbi,r, double
Bauer gets the win for LAD

A lot of our guys are showing up early, especially Eric Hosmer. 13 total bases in the first two games is a Padre record. He's had four opportunities with runners in scoring position and has come through every time and 2 HR's
Mike Trout is being his usual self although he hasn't homered yet, but he's hitting the ball hard and often and getting on base. I think he's been on base in 7 of his official first 9 PA's.
The Dodgers are loaded with hitting talent. Although Kershaw lost the opener they won last night behind Seager, Turner, Bellinger, and young 2b 6'2 Gavin Lux.
Houston's Alex Bregman killing it as well with 2 HR's. He could give Trout a run for MVP.
Not much on the Philadelphia/Atlanta game Thursday-The Phillies with young talent in Harper, Hoskins, and Bohm. Realmuto was 2/4, RBI in their win over the Braves.
Atlanta with talent as well, with reigning MVP Freeman, Swanson, and Austin Riley.

Guys, I will try and give updates as much as possible, but I may miss some stories and stats as the season gets into full swing.
Anyone else feel free to pitch in.
Thanks

BTW, the new who's better than Mike Trout player, Tatis JR is off to a slow start. He's 1/8 and was caught stealing in first attempt last night. He also has the early league lead in K's with 5. Not trying to rag on the guy, but he's got a long way to go as does everyone else to be hailed as better than the Millville Meteor/Kiiiiiid.

MLB will require people who bought All-Star game tickets, will have to show a picture ID to get their tickets from Will-Call. One of the reasons MLB pulled the game from Atlanta was that people were going to have to show picture ID to vote and consider it racist. What does this make MLB?

I was going to give the MLB another look seeing as how there are some whities in the game but damn, they go ahead and make a completely stupid gesture to appease a group that has no interest in them. The people that run things in this country are complete idiots.

Then I turned on the radio and heard a few moments of a game between the Venezuela and Dominican national teams. Oh I was mistaken it was actually my hometown Tigers vs. The Indigenous peoples of Cleveland.

My God, the Tigers have only 3 white position players. The rest are from Venezuela/Dominica/Puerto Rico, and they also have 3 American blacks. The Indians were not much better with only 4 white position players and they also managed to squeeze in a Jap.

Why the hell would I want to watch a bunch of foreigners collect millions of dollars playing baseball? It makes no sense. I really envy you guys who live in cities where the home team is solidly white. Honestly I would be happy with mostly white with a few US blacks mixed in. American past time my ass.

Hard to argue those points Flint. In tonight's matchup on ESPN, between LA Angels and Chicago White Sox. I think the only white starter for the Sox other than the pitcher Dylan Cease is Adam Eaton. Nick Madrigal looks mixed. So one position player and the pitcher. It's a little better on the Angels side. You have Fletcher, Trout, Walsh and Stassi. Japanese Ohtani is pitching tonight. I will watch no more than the Trout AB's.

It's a mixed bag for sure but there are still a lot of talented white ball players. I am hoping Kelenic and Witt are both early season call ups.

Very good point. The "foreigner" agenda is what REALLY bothers me with baseball, powers-that-be promoting their globalist agenda. Definitely prefer ANY Americans to all these foreign nationals. As I type Jared Walsh just hit a walk off 3 run homer for Anaheim. He's a promising player to watch, off to a hot start. As a left-handed person myself I'm partial to lefty first basemen (seem to be a dying breed?). Phillies swept the Braves (who seem decent), and started 6/9 (one of the Blacks being McCutcheon, an American). Also noticed with Brantley's injury Houston also (despite a roster that isn't very CF-friendly) started a "snow patrol" in the OF- these seem to be very rare these days. Kyle Tucker, their RF, had a homer today, and led the league in triples last year. He's one of my favorite young players to watch, I really like triples and they are quite rare these days.

A few stats from last night...
Trout gets his first HR and has started the season pretty hot. He's hitting .400 and an OPS of 1.275
Biggio, TOR HR 1
Merrifield, KC 2/3 HR (3) 3 RBI
Reynolds/Evans, PIT each hit HR's
Moustakas, CIN HR
Bregman, HOU remains hot 2/5 RBI
Tucker HOU: HR (2)
Seager, LAD: 3 RBI
Turner, LAD: HR 2 RBI
Muncy, LAD: 2/4
Smith LAD: HR
Connor Brogdon, PHI : gets win number 2.
The Washington Nationals have yet to play a game because of Covid, will open today against The Atlanta Braves. They will be without Trea Turner and Kyle Schwarber to name a few.

Mike Trout smashes his second HR in as many days against Houston's Zach Greinke. Must be seeing the ball really well early as Greinke is possibly going to the HOF when he retires.
LA and Houston are in the second inning of an afternoon game.

Not a bad game to watch. I watched (some of it) for Trout, Bregman, Walsh, Tucker, and of course, both pitchers. Jared Walsh went 2-4, Tucker added his 3rd homer and 9th RBI. Bergman only 1-4 but also had some great defensive plays. Greinke and Bundy both pitched well but both got no-decisions (HOU’s Ryan Pressly got the win in relief).

Also @Carolina Speed I appreciate your daily write ups. Jared Walsh is definitely someone to keep an eye on with a .412 AVG and .882 SLG(!) after 6 games. Looks legit.
