Breidis KO Mann in round 3.
Breidis KO Mann in round 3.
I assumed he was from one of the former Soviet republics until I heard the English name. He really is a celebrity boxer type, if he wasn't so big I would say he would be a candidate to fight a Paul brother down the line. This Steve Robinson guy looks like Ivan Drago
I got a feeling Eddie Hearn is behind this move. Another loss by one of his heavyweights will be a big financial loss to him.Dylan White pulls out of Otto Wallin fight

There is a saying in boxing "he who controls the heavyweight champion controls boxing". This old saying while not absolute is still valid as Matchroom promotions exploded on to the scene once Joshua was a unified champion and eeked out a dramatic victory over an aged Wlad.I got a feeling Eddie Hearn is behind this move. Another loss by one of his heavyweights will be a big financial loss to him.
Great post Truthman. One of the top fights I ever saw was Dokes vs Coetzee on 9/23/83 when Coetzee koed Dokes for the title. It was on my brother's birthday and we partied all night long. First White man to hold the title in over 20 years. I got to add one more name to your list. Johnny DuPlooy who was a good enough hwt to ko Mike Weaver and give Coetzee a run for his money for a few rounds had him down but walked right into a Coetzee left hook. A good solid heavyweight.Kevin Lerena is moving up to heavyweight.
So South Africa at least have one good fighter at heavyweight now. He seems a bit too small at 6ft 1 but we'll see, he had good wins at cruiser.. was top 5 in the world
It's interesting (but not surprising to me) that all of South Africas former heavyweight world champions were white - Corrie Sanders, Gerrie Coetzee, Frans Botha .. despite whites being a small minority there. Blacks are the vast majority yet theres never been a single black South African heavvyweight world champion, ever.. It's a good fact to point out to these dark turds and SJW nerds.
Thanks for the video freedom 1. I forgot he had fought Weaver two times. He lost the first time by ko so I guess I wanted to forget that fight. He did fight a lot of good Americans in the 80s and did well against them. I wish the U.S would allow more white South Africans into the U.S. We need them.Yeah, South African whites are awesome. I wish we could trade our blacks for them. It could be a win win No more whites to exploit them here or there. Let the Chinese have them.
I looked up DuPlooy/Weaver II. It was a relatively quick fight.
Jake Paul is fighting Tyson Fury's half brother Tommy on December 18th on PPV via Showtime. Fury was "showcased" on the previous Paul vs Woodley PPV and looked like he dq'd himself when he couldn't knock out or even wobble an opponent who was half a foot shorter and was a novice boxer. But Fury is a British social media darling and the two can bring together two PPV markets so we have this main event.
Normally two undefeated novice prospects fighting each other wouldn't generate any media buzz and the purses wouldn't even be 6 figures a piece but in this fight Paul will get 7 figures and Fury will get north of a million as he initially balked at a flat million dollar fee.
I heard an internet rumour that Fury is half Black but I can't see that maybe he could be a quadroon type or he could be Black Irish but he is much swarthier than any other Fury that is a public figure.
PS, many famous boxers have had mediocre siblings that were pro boxers, Ali's brother was a prospect that never got beyond prospect fights, Tommy Morrison had a brother with a losing record who fought in tank town circuit fights and Tommy Morrison himself fought Jerry Quarry's younger brother who had a 500 record on a comeback fight after breaking his jaw. https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_...llow-undefeated-boxer-tommy-fury-dec-18-tampa
